I got the lunch lasagna combo with vegetable soup and cheesy garlic bread, and tbh... the pictures absolutely do NOT prepare you for the reality of this carb-loaded love story. The soup arrived still hot and comforting like somebody's Italian grandma packed it herself. The garlic cheese bread was buttery, cheesy, and delish!!! And the lasagna?? Whew!!! Meaty sauce, layers of gooey mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan... every bite felt like I was being hugged aggressively by pasta!!! Stopped by Vince's Spaghetti for the first time last week and had a really enjoyable meal! I ordered the mostaccioli with meat sauce, plus soup, garlic bread, and a meatball. The mostaccioli was the highlight--packed with a rich, super meaty sauce and served in a huge portion that easily satisfied my pasta craving. The soup was just okay, but honestly that's not why you come to Vince's. The garlic bread was fantastic: crispy, soft, buttery, and hard to stop eating. i literally eat here once a week ever since i was a CHILD. the last few times i place a phone order the orders been wrong no biggie they did a great job helping me out. HOWEVER i ordered today 7/12/26 OVER $60 and my noodles came chopped up and overcooked. i returned to the restaurant only asking for fresh noodles and only received 2/3 of them re made due. left the SOGGY noodles behind as well as the money i lost paying for them. We always get their Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. It's so hearty, meaty, and filling. They give you such generous portions, too. My kids eat it up. I'm 71 years old and I started coming here as a child. I lived nearby for decades and ate here regularly. I moved away about 33 years ago but return every time I'm anywhere near. There is something magical about a place that really hasn't changed much over the decades. They still have the original 1 cent gum machine I got SQUARE green gum out as a little kid. I cannot resist putting a penny in it every time I visit. (:-) And this was the first place my parents treated me to Junior Mints that are still available on the check out counter. They offer what I call TASTE SENSATIONS that I simply cannot find anywhere else. Things like garlic bread dipped in THEIR house Italian salad dressing. And again...garlic bread dipped in their famous meat sauce. I used to order the meatball sandwich MADE on GARLIC BREAD and dip THAT in the dressing but I realized I was happiest with just a cup of meat sauce. Yes the spaghetti is great if you are a big pasta person but I'm more of a garlic bread person so the garlic bread, I use to scoop up meat sauce, is MY THING...and yes I frequently dip the bread in the dressing before I scoop up the meat sauce. Well, what do I say? This place has been here for over 75 years. And that's just a little bit surprising. At $24 a plate, I was a bit underwhelmed. The meat sauce was runny (ew) but the spaghetti itself was alright. The garlic bread was toasted just fine but it had almost no garlic butter at all. The drinks are $4 and no refills? Disappointed. Not saying go to Olive Garden. Maybe...cook this meal at your house. $60 with tip for two average plates of pasta. read more

Nostalgia comes to mind when we visited this spot. This place was recommended to us by a parent we met at a sporting event. She used to live in the neighborhood and still comes to eat here when she's around. This restaurant is definitely old school, from the outside facade to the interior decor it looks like little has changed. It originally opened in 1945 and from the looks of things continue to draw in customers. The lighting is a little dark but not too bad. The main menu is simple, spaghetti, lasagna, and a couple of sandwiches, sides, and beverages including alcohol. The way I can describe the spaghetti sauce is classic Americana. There's a lot of ground beef and I think just the right amount of dark tomato sauce. The lasagna was also great. I felt like it had the perfect mix of the sauce, the pasta, and the filling. You can also tell that they didn't use the same sauce as the spaghetti even though they looked the same the difference was subtle. Lastly make sure to bring your appetite because their serving size is enough to fill you up 3 times over. Our server was extremely nice, she came by and would check on us often. I'm shocked to see that I haven't posted a review here before as Vince's Spaghetti has been a constant staple in my life since childhood. There's no place like it and it's my #1 restaurant recommendation in this area. The food quality, price, taste, and value is unmatched - they don't have a massive menu, but what they do have on the menu, they do RIGHT. I have so many fond memories at this restaurant (graduation parties, birthday parties, date nights, etc.) and even more memories of Vince's to-go meals at family gatherings and other hosted events. Naturally, Vince's Spaghetti was my requested first meal back home after delivering my daughter. I used her 2-day old name as the "name on the order" and couldn't NOT share the news with the employee who took our pick-up order over the phone. To our surprise, the restaurant treated us to two complimentary desserts to celebrate the occasion and this new mommy enjoyed each bite! We will forever be grateful for this gesture (see pictures) and Vince's has a new fan as of March 2, 2024. read more

We arrived at about 1:30 pm (1/2 hour before its lunch closing) and our spaghetti was almost tasteless and very mediocre. The sauce was extremely watery to the point of almost being tasteless. I went there for dinner last night with family and once again good experience. I've been there since the early 80's, worked briefly there with my Mom. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night dine in or take out. We were seated and served drinks right away. Didn't wait very long to order our food, most of the party ordered lasagna with meat sauce while I had Vince's dinner with meat ball and lite meat sauce. I added the provolone cheese. Server was very busy but attentive with not long wait bringing food and refill. Everything was very good as usual. I find it interesting that DoorDash did not post my previous negative review of this restaurant (on DoorDash reviews for this restaurant). There was nothing crude or inappropriate about the review. I called the restaurant. I was on hold for over 10 minutes to speak with the manager. I was told by Allie that they acknowledged my preferences but they were "slammed" the evening in question. That is no excuse for bad service. A quality restaurant performs well under all circumstances. Vince's and DD customer service is less than mediocre at best. I will be sharing this experience with friends that travel to this area, order meals using DoorDash and other delivery services, and that also dine out. Avoid Vince's at all costs! I'm sorry but I really can't understand why this restaurant is so popular. I experienced poor parking and twenty minute wait for seating on a Saturday night. Our waitress was the highlight of the evening, after being seated in banquet room type area. In my opinion, the bland meat sauce spaghetti and garlic bread along with a salad swimming in Italian dressing was a disaster, especially for the price. The food i always will get is the Vince's full dinner the spaghetti and I always love how they make it. We came in as a party of 15 for dinner, and the host at the front was unbelievably rude, treating us like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. It honestly felt like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging us, as if we were getting dinner for free. I was this close to walking out. Vince's is a little family owned restaurant with a simple menu and large portions! We used to come here when we lived in SoCal, now we come here every time we vacation here. The salad is ok, but it is very simple and mine was slightly over dressed. The portions are very large. The dinner comes standard with a "Half" portion and it is so filling for one person.
