Our first time in here. I kept passing by and decided to try it when I was burnt out of the corporate subs. This place has a great selection meats! They offer Breakfast, Burgers, salads, fries, tots, wraps, hot & cold sandwiches. It's like if an Italian & Mediterranean had a food baby. We let them know it was our first time & staff was wonderful in making suggestions. Place is a little small to eat but perfect for us to grab a quick bite, have a quick work lunch, or grab to go. I love their house pickles! Definitely a must try, I was so impressed with their menu I can't wait to come back and try more.

I've been waiting for this place to open, and they finally had their soft launch at the end of last week so I came in to give it a shot and it did not disappoint at all. Let me tell you the service and the sandwich were absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Italian on toasted bread and a chocolate chip cookie. The Italian was absolutely delicious and made a very high-quality meat along with freshly baked bread that was spongy in the best way. I'm not kidding when I say this sandwich was outstanding. The cookie was warm with lots of melted chocolate chips. I saw them taking them out of the oven and I couldn't resist and the cookie did not disappoint. The place was very clean and welcoming with great music too. If you're craving an amazing sandwich, sweet treat, and some great service in a clean place, this is the place for you. I can't wait to go back to try all the other sandwiches that they have as they all looked amazing.

I just much never saw the point of adding random ingredients to rice when I could have complete control over what I want as ulam. I remember when Toby and I were in Hawaii, she insisted I try some local fried rice. I ended up getting somewhat sick because whatever they put into it just didn't agree with my stomach. And it's not like I could've asked to take the offensive ingredients out because most places don't post exactly what goes into their version of the dish and if I asked to hold the sketchy stuff, it would end up being closer to steam rice anyway. But some places like Scrambler's Cafe just know how to make it right. They load it up with meat only put the bare minimum of veggie mix, and portion it out like there's a hungry man ordering it. Every bite is tremendously flavorful and filling. I love their fried rice and it's quickly become a go-to dish at Scrambler's--first at the Corona location and now at the new location. The service is great too. Everyone was nice and the refills came fast without prompting. Every restaurant should have service this competent. Also, the ambiance was great. The tables were spaced out and the noise was very respectful. It's just a chill place all around, fit for large parties and solo diners. It's a good eating place for anyone. Overall, this place is an amazing spot and I look forward to coming back here.

We came in for breakfast. I love a good Loco Moco, especially when the eggs are cooked perfectly. Not mentioning any names, but if you read some of my other posts, then you know. I love the options for the Loco Moco, hamburger, Spam, chicken katsu, or Portuguese sausage. They had a shredded beef short rib option the day we went. I ordered it and it was fantastic!! Definitely will be back to try the other combinations. I had to try the macaroni salad and it didn't disappoint. The island Chilaquiles has kalua pork and it was also delicious ! Ordering is a bit different. You order at the counter and they assign you a table number and then you go sit at your assigned table and eat. It was packed! Line out the door and a line for the whole duration of our meal. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. And they can accommodate large groups too. The staff is very friendly and they have staff walking around refilling (regular) coffee, if you order it, but the special drinks are one time. Again they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I think this will be our go to Loco Moco spot for a while. They have other breakfast options too, but I really enjoy a good Loco Moco. Support small businesses and Always be kind to your server's and just everyone in general. Enjoy life and good times with family and friends. Thanks for your interest. Blessings.

My only complaint is that they do not post prices on their dinner menú. My wife will not enjoy her food unless she knows how much she's spending, and the server was a little reluctant to leave us with a xerox copy of the menu with prices written in it. Both the Rib Eye and Salmon were excellent, and my wife loved the risotto. We will continue to dine here, as the food is truly delicious.

Husband ordered a brown sugar latte, turns out they made it in the small cup instead of an original large one. Food was cold. I got the Benedict; egg wasn't runny. Toast was hard, and I was told the fruit would be melon, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries. All I got was melon. His steak was salty, small, already cut for him? Weird. He asked for extra crispy hashbrowns all he got was extra soggy hashbrowns. She would ask if we need anything else, let one person speak and run off. I felt out of place because we weren't attended to, she only filled our water twice but never asked how anything was. I was taught to eat everything off my plate so I did. But I'll never return.

Toby likes to poke fun of me because I usually a cup or two of coffee when we're in, but, get me to…read morea breakfast diner or other food joint and I'm suddenly having six to eight cups with my meal. I remembered this because Iron Skillet has got to be the fastest on the draw in terms of keeping you coffee topped off. I counted in the first fifteen minutes I was there, I had my coffee refilled four times and probably eight times in the span of the forty-five minutes I was there. The only slowdown I saw was when they dropped off the bill. Suddenly after that no one was checking on me to see if I needed more coffee. I guess they figured that I had had enough and were cutting me off. That's a mistake because as long as I'm sitting at breakfast I'm going to want coffee. The second thing I noticed was they have a damn good skillet program here, especially if want to experiment with creating your own. It was something like $15.50 to put in three mix-ins for your skillet, but only $1.50 to make the mix-ins unlimited. This time I kept it simple--sausage, ham, green peppers, and onions along with customary cheddar and three eggs--but next time I'm going to experiment a little. The skillet itself was amazing. The portion was generous, the produce was fresh, and the eggs were super runny. It really is in contention for the best traditional skillet I've ever had. The other thing that could've put it in the running for best skillet overall is if they had some exotic offerings for protein like I've had elsewhere in the country like elk, smoked pulled pork, duck, walleye, or even rabbit. Skillets are good, but skillets with like an animal you don't normally see for breakfast is amazing. I'm still on the lookout for my goat skillet. The service, as aforementioned, was impeccable. The coffee refills is the main thing I complain about other breakfast joints and here I never even had a thought to getting upset regarding that for the first portion of the meal. My only critique as you may have guessed is to continue that generosity and initiative for the whole meal. I really want me to toy with breaking double digits with the amount of coffee refills I receive during a meal. And that's only going to happen if you continue to ask me after you drop off the bill. The ambience is good. It looks like a diner. It quacks like a diner. It's a diner. I felt right at home here with all that space and mix of booths, tables, and counter space. I'm definitely planning my trip back here for that superb Build-a-Skillet and that fantastic attention to keeping the coffee overflowing in my mug.

I wish the potatoes had a little more flavor but the eggs and toast were great. It's a cozy spot and it reminded me of that cool diner from pulp fiction. Be cool, honey bunny, and try the cinnamon roll.
