If I could give more stars I would. I have severe panic attacks. It took me over 4 months of scheduling and cancelling to even return for a crown. I literally arrived and although on prescribed medication for the procedure I went full hysterical panic. The kindness shown to me by the entire staff was immeasurable. They checked their schedule and worked with me minute by minute for almost 3 hours to do a simple procedure that could have been done in one. I recommend them to everyone. Went in as a new patient to this office. I was their ONLY patient at the time of my scheduled appointment, just for them to call me in took about 20 minutes. They took my x rays and afterwards I sat in the back of the office in the dental chair for 45 MINUTES! Terrible customer service. All I wanted was a routine cleaning that's covered by my insurance and because I was not wanting to get the $210 upgraded cleaning that the doctor recommended he would not do my cleaning. To top it off I have braces so I had to go get the wires removed before this cleaning appointment, and I didn't even get the cleaning!!! Such a waste of my time. Do not go here! read more

We recently changed insurances and this dentist was assigned by the insurance company. It was a disaster. The office is tiny and we were the only patients there the entire time. I brought in my two sons for a routine cleaning and check-up. The office is very outdated and you feel like you're in a sardine can in there. The hygienist was incredibly rude and when I expressed concern she asked if I wanted to just leave? The dentist saw my kids for less than a minute each and said absolutely nothing. I had to ask if he could come back and tell me if their teeth were okay? It was a bizarre experience and I highly suggest you visit another dentist. Long time Yelp listener; first time Yelp caller, lol.. but, yeah, this dentistry practice is fantastic. I went for the first time in yeeeears (don't wait that long), and I ended up needing a lot of work done. About eight visits later, and I'm all fixed! In those visits, I found that place to be absolutely wonderful from the assistance, Lana, to the doctor himself! The actual work was dental work, and you can only make that so pleasant, haha. However, in that narrow spectrum of enjoyment, it was absolutely on the good side! Very gentle and thorough! One thing I didn't realize I was missing from my dentist visits was a good movie selection, but Dr. Oh has got it! Even if you close your eyes while work is being done, like me, the sound of a familiar movie can do wonders for anxiety and dental fear. : ) Be sure to check out that sick X-Ray machine, too! read more

My husband I have been going to Dr Oh's office since he opened in 2004. We have been very impressed with his skill, friendliness of his office staff and trust worthiness. He will work with you if you need payment arrangements and will also work with your insurance. Unfortunately I have bad teeth and have had to have lots of work done. Dr Oh has always made me feel comfortable and explained to me exactly what to expect and my options. I have never felt pressured to do any procedure I didn't feel comfortable doing. First, I'm very happy that I'm the only one who experienced what I did And I'll be as adjective as possible. i was charged "cash" for crowns despite having insurance and all I had to pay was a deductible. I asked if the price I was being charged was with my insurance, the answer was always "yes". I was told that if I chose a metal underlay On crowns the metal will eventually start showing; I was not told it would be within a day or 2 the metal started to show, the crowns were so tight, floss broke when I tried to floss, I had them replaced with porcelain and Guess who paid for the replacement with a "discount"? ME. I've had a crown from another doctor for more than 25 years and I now have to get replaced ONLY because my gum has decreased in volume, I also have to replace one which Dr Oh did less that half the time of the previous one mentioned because I have cavities under it. every time I brought up these issues, the new "assistant " managed to make me but into her meaningless explanation. read more

It's a shame when you have to call your insurance company six times to get your dentist to file an insurance claim- and they still don't do it right. in my opinion, Dr Oh's office has been untruthful with me for years about my insurance status and has refused to file claims for services rendered. don't ever pay him in advance- no matter what they tell you. I wonder what the California dental board will think about these practices. I will also be filing a grievance with Blue Shield of of CA of CA for what I believe are unethical practices. read more

Just xrays, old style, and announcements that we both need identical perio irrigation work at $180 each. Looks like routine checkup on medicare means just a pool of new patients for unnecessary work. This dentist is a scam! 1. My HMO allows me a cleaning and x-rays. I got the x-rays and the dentist wanted to sell me on a "deep cleaning." I said I'll just do a regular cleaning, because the deep cleaning was over $500 and the regular cleaning is part of my plan. He refused to do a regular cleaning, so I only got the x-rays. I have been paying for several months, and I don't get a cleaning? My friend is a dentist and said you can do a regular cleaning without having a deep cleaning first. 2. The first time he looked in my mouth he used gloves, but the second time he didn't. That seems unsanitary. I may report this to the county health department. I have a fast track number with them since I work for a local government agency. 3. The dental assistant seems really nice and talked to me for a little bit. Anyways, she did all the x-rays. The dentist came in for about 15 seconds then left. After this the receptionist comes in to try to sell me on high priced work that I don't want. I just wanted a regular cleaning and x-rays! I've never had a dentist deny me a cleaning. 4. The leather exam chairs were torn up, and the place is a little worn down. read more

I went in for X-Rays, Exam, & a full cleaning. Dr. Oh & his RDA Svitlana were so aweseome & gentle with me. For most people, they are scared of the dentist. Pros: Great personal service, they really get to know you as a person (not a customer). Both, Dr. Oh & his RDA Svitlana, spoke to me the entire process of what they were doing, why, & what the terms meant after they finished. Reasonable prices on every service! It's an extremely sanitized office & you can smell it. :) Nice restroom & nice Fullerton business area to park as well. Cons: None honestly, except if you want to get the laughing gas to help relax you for a filling he doesn't offer it because he said it isn't safe LoL. That's all :) I haven't been to a dentist in a couple of years because my last experience from a "groupon" deal told me I needed about $5000 in work or I might lose my teeth! I know I have cavities I need to fill and I am aware that several dentists can be false about how much actual work needs to get done as soon as possible. They tried to rip off my parents in law. Their HMO allows for 2 cleans a year for $0 copay. They have the healthiest teeth around. They go to the dentist almost 4 times a year for cleanings at their previous out of pocket paid dentists... (Not because they were told to, because they chose to..) MAGICALLY at this dentist.. their teeth were "terrible". And they both needed "starting at 2500$ worth of work" Including "250$ for cleanings" for both of them because their insurance "didn't cover" this portion of the work needed... I called the office, perplexed by the situation The lady on the phone swore up and down that her dentist was never wrong and was "offended" that I was questioning his work. I told her that it felt like a mechanic.. trying to tell me my transmission was blown when all I wanted was an oil change.. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... I came to visit Dr. Ohs office because it works with my insurance. I did have an experience before with OON and was not willing to pay those prices again. I knew i needed some work. Dr. Oh and his assistant Lana made it a comfortable and breezy experience. I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I put off my crown for years because of insurance coverage and costs. Lana helped me understand costs and broke it down with al services needed after the check up. Fillings, crown, & cleaning were all great. Pain Free. I will be coming back regularly. I love this place! I had previously had bad experiences at another dental place (look at my reviews) so I was hesitant to go back to a dentist office for a while. However, my root canal situation was getting worse so I had to go in since most of my tooth broke. I went in and was greeted by Lana who is super nice! She took X-rays and after Dr.Oh came to talk to me about what needed to be done. Long story short they had to put a bridge in since I waited too long to fix my tooth issue. The price wasn't too bad for all that needed to be done (Thank God)! Anyway, I'm very happy with the service I have received by Dr. Oh and his staff. Let me start out by saying this is probably the best dentist office I've been to in 15 plus years. And let me tell you why. Dr. Oh is definitely about caring for his patients and making sure his patients understand everything that is going on with their teeth and so forth. Always taking the time to listen to the patients concerns and questions while not making them feel like their just a dollar sign. So feel free and comfortable to come see Dr. Oh; you wont regret it. And last and definitely not least, his assistant Svitslana. She's just absolutely wonderful,caring, nice and gentle. Always looking out for the patient no matter the situation. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO OVER PAY FOR YOUR CARE! We all hate picking a new dentist so let me help....move on! He was in my plan and tried to upsell unnecessary services not covered by by insurance costing $50 for a simple FREE cleaning! WORSE!!! My wife needed a crown and the plan I am on, AND THE CONTRACT HE AGREED TO ABIDE BY, has an option for a simple $95 crown of procilin and a common metal filling. All crowns are to be guaranteed for 5 years (I checked all of this with my insurance!). He would only offer options costing $600, $700, or $900 depending on what exotic metal we choose. We just need a simple crown, he is under contract or I would not be there, and he refuses to provide the agreed upon service. HE IS LIKE A PLUMBER TRYING TO SELL YOU MORE THAN YOU NEED!!!! If I could give him a negative I would! I wonder how may other clients he has ripped off because they were not presented all of their true options? I don't know where the ling of fraud is drawn but he is clearly very close if not beyond it!! read more
