I've seen a share of horrible dentists, but Dr. Wei is a literal tooth savior. He's kind, compassionate, and cares for his patients immensely. I would recommend Dr. Wei in a heartbeat if you have any immediate dental needs, but especially for specialized cosmetic treatment. I've seen Dr. Wei for a number of years now and haven't looked back on any other dentist. I've had some cosmetic work done in the past that went horribly wrong and needed a reverse effect. Dr. Wei has given me a number of treatments, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I recently broke a tooth, which turned out to be an emergency on a late Friday night. His office wasn't open, but he had an emergency number available to call after hours. I was able to reach him and see him within a few days. He cancelled all his morning appointments to ensure I can make a visit as soon as possible. I knew then and there that Dr. Wei is seriously committed to his patients. He cares for his patients. If you're in pain or need any tooth restoration or cosmetic work done, Dr. Wei is super reliable. The work he does is beautiful when it comes to cosmetics. I don't understand all of these great reviews. Yes, he's a very friendly man and his staff were all nice. However, he is the pushiest person I have ever met. He will not take no for an answer when it comes to signing up for very expensive services. Also, after seeing other cosmetic dentists in the area and comparing their work, Dr Weis veneers are extremely thick, too white and horse-like too long for my mouth. I would never recommend. I definitely dodged a bullet by going elsewhere and wish I could get a refund for his shitty thick molds. Dr Wei is truly a miracle worker, and one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. I had a terrible fall and broke my front tooth 3 days before leaving on a 2 wk business trip. I was in a complete panic and very emotionally distressed. I had fractured one of my 2 front veneers (11 year old veneers from Boston) after I accidentally bit on an eggplant beef rice dish (there was a small piece of bone in there somehow). Freaked me out since it occurred on a Sunday afternoon and my veneer literally was falling off my tooth. My dentist was not opened and luckily I had Dr. Wei's info (I had asked my dentist who was a good veneer dentist in NYC for a friend of mine and in case I needed to fix my veneers). I did the free online consultation and sent my info over. Comes Monday, I called my dentist to let him know what happened and he didn't even call me back (ughh). Dr. Wei's office called me and told me I can get in on Weds. I asked what am I supposed to do with the fractured veneer, and Dr. Wei called me back and was able to get me in that day (Monday). He fixed my veneer temporarily by bonding it. We discuss the options of redoing 2 front or 10 front veneers. I thought my smile was pretty good, but he said it can be better and whiter if we did 10! That sold me to get the 10 since if I did 2, it will last another 10-15 years before will need to redo the veneers. So might as well enjoy a new smile now while I am youngish. I told my dentist friend and she thought I was crazy and told me I would get chiclets for teeth. I told Dr. Wei this and he went above and beyond for me by making me a mock up. I loved it, so felt comfortable to proceed. He also would call me after the visits to make sure I was ok and if I had any questions (my old dentist never did that). So I got all 10 done...looks so great. Thought my original smile was good already, but my smile is great now! Love, love, love. No chiclets here! Very natural and I am so happy with it. I have been meaning to do this review for a while now but haven't been able to get to it until now. I went to see Dr. Wei in July of 2020 to get some veneers done. Like others before me have said, I felt like I walked into a car dealership. Dr. Wei is VERY pushy and literally feels like a salesperson that will do anything to make you say yes. If you like that kind of service, then he's your doctor. I ended up feeling very pressured by him to get 8 veneers (lumineers) for 20K and so I put down a $1,200 deposit and let them do x rays, the mold etc. I left feeling very uncomfortable and a little ashamed that I said yes after feeling so pressured. I called within 24 hours to see if I could cancel and receive a partial refund but they said no to the refund... I ended up going to a different dentist who made me feel so calm and relaxed and I loved how my teeth came out! I won't speak on Dr. Wei's work, but I would say to check with other doctors before making the decision to work with him and DO NOT let him pressure you into things! read more

I brought a case to him that is very difficult - just one veneer (one of my front teeth) - which most dentists will not do because it's very difficult to match the color and aesthetic. I was interested in Dr. Wei after I read numerous fantastic reviews but it wasn't until I started seeing him that I'm a believer and recommend every one I know to see him! I am a television personality and having a beautiful TV smile was very important. However, I wanted something completely natural, just with a touch of "wow" to my smile. Dr. Wei gave me just that. I can say that even without makeup, my images in photographs, and video are that much more vibrant because my smile is now beautiful, yet approachable. A friend recommended this place to me and everyone here in the review says how good Dr Wei is. Unfortunately, I won't be experiencing any of it because of how rude the phone receptionist is. I called in to schedule an appointment for filling and invisalign consultation, but was rushed 3 times with "So you wanna come on Wed at 2pm?" ... I wanted to know if I was able to do x-rays or fillings on the same day (cause it's very difficult for me to ask for days off), ask about possible options for someone without a dental insurance and ask if the consultation is free of charge, but every time I raised one of these questions, I was interrupted with "So you wanna come on Wed at 2pm?" I felt very disrespected and she didn't answer any of my questions lol. I mean If I am going to spend thousands of dollars on invisalign, this type of service is just unacceptable. I think our whole conversation lasted less than 2 mins, I was left with confusion because she didn't answer any of my questions. I could find these out on my visit but I don't want to, because these questions can be answered over the phone and everyone's time is precious, I don't want to take hours off from work for nothing. As a frist time customer who's quiet busy and going to be paying everything out of my own pocket on the x-ray/filling/ invisalign, I think I deserve some basic respect and that extra minute or two from the phone receptionist for some clarity on the service I will be receiving during this visit.
