Dr. Yashari has gentle hands and very easy to talk to. I am a Dental chicken and terrified of any work in my mouth. He always been so patient and gentle with me. Their work has been literally pain-free and quick. I had cracked my tooth over the weekend and made a mistake of going to a dentist that was open on Sunday and paid hefty fee for a temporary work. They called me to move my appointment earlier, and I agreed to come in 30 minutes ahead of schedule. An hour before the new appointment time, I even called to ask if they were running on time because every previous appointment had already been 2 hours behind. The front desk told me, "Yes, we are on time." I arrived 15 minutes early, signed all the paperwork, and still ended up waiting until almost my original appointment time. Once I was finally brought back, the doctor cracked a joke, gave me Novocaine, said he'd be back, and disappeared. Forty minutes later, I was still sitting there numb with no doctor or staff in sight. At this point, it had been well over an hour without the doctor even starting the exam. The front desk staff should not be working in customer service. They were unhelpful, showed no remorse, and acted like this is something they constantly hear complaints about. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smiles from the folks at the front desk including Erika, who initially setup my appointment. Erika made sure all my questions were answered and made setting up my first appointment a breeze. All the initial forms were online which made my first visit very easy. The hygienist Karely was extremely thorough and gentle during the cleaning process. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She also gave me some great tips on how to improve my oral hygiene routine. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. After my cleaning, I met with Dr. Kevin Lynn DDS for a check-up. He was equally as friendly and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. He also gave me some helpful advice on how to maintain my dental health. I felt like I was in good hands with both Karely and Dr. Lynn. The dental group I used previously did everything they could do to upsell me with all sorts of unnecessary products and services. For example the doctor told his staff to conduct a CT scan. Never quoted a price. After I was told it cost almost $1000 but that I'd be charged 50% of their earlier lower price (almost $200). And they proceeded to bill my dental insurance the entire nearly $1000 for the imaging (which my insurance denied). I'm scheduled for extraction and implant early next year but when I asked for the cost I was told they need to calculate it and let me know. I'm still waiting 3 weeks later. I like Dr Tassone as a dentist but there have been times from visit to visit that his diagnosis changes. I don't want to change dentists but now getting teeth cleaning elsewhere. I'm aware opinions can change and different dentists offer entirely different treatment options. What I don't appreciate are my dental insurance benefits getting wiped out before I can blink twice. After that I'm on my own and having to decide if want to pay the high rates.
