I have always found the staff, friendly and helpful. A year ago, I decided to move to Palm Desert and and continued my Residential Interior Design here. I've been to the store a few times. I am not sure what is happening at this location, "Palm Desert CA " , but the staff looks extremely unhappy. specifically one gentleman who calls himself the store manager but he is not. I have seen him picking fights with different clients almost every time I go there. I have tried to strike a friendly note with him, trying to calm him down. At one occasion, out loud, he was telling a client that his job is what people call "choose wisely" at the beginning of ones career. Once he was staring down at a client to a point where the lady started yelling " Are you staring me down? may I talk to your manager?" With a great attitude, he responded, "you are talking to him." Long story short, last time I was there I was doing heavy shopping for a 85 year-old woman. Nothing big knickknacks and kitchen items and Home Staples. I was doing a small project for her here at the desert. she has various ailments and I had to be careful choosing the right products for her, which is light enough and easy to operate. Thus it took me over two hours in the store to do selection of various items.. I think that had raised a red flag with the staff. I was treated so poorly there. I had over five workers approaching me and asking " can we help you with something? it seems you've been here for a long time . Every time I would respond, yes I am buying for a client. I need to make the right selections for to clients situation. Sorry this takes time. I do understand store security is important and shrinkage is a problem, but not everybody is a thief . I do believe I dress up nicely and present present not like a bum, so not sure what the issue was ? At the end, yes, the same man approached me aggressively with the same question. May we hrlp you? You have been here for a long time . I broke out in anger, saying "is there a problem sir? " I'm buying over $800 worth of products here. Nevertheless, I was followed by him until I went to the checkpoint and paid for the products and left the building. Funny enough, he knows me from previous purchases from him, which always has been over five to $600. I tried to make a complaint to their head offices. I got a email saying that my concern has been sent to the store manager Jennifer Martinez and she will get back with me shortly . This was a month ago and no one did. again, it's a pity. I love the store and most probably I will be shopping at their other locations, but this one definitely has some major staff issues . I will not be returning there. Who would like to be treated like that?......

We popped In randomly while window shopping and right before grabbing a bite. Right when we walked…read morein, everyone was very friendly. About 2 maybe 3 staff were on deck. Ana who was a doll and very sweet was the one that helped us out. We had a question regarding getting something cleaned and wanted to know the right way to go about it. Have them service it there at the store or have them send it out to New York which will take about a month. She examined the item and suggested in store. While all that was going on, another one of the gentleman on deck came over to asked us if we would like anything to drink. Now that's customer service. I've alway had a great experience at most of the Tiffany's locations give or take one or two that's was a little on the sour side. But this location, El Paseo was excellent. On the smaller size but service was great. Ana took the piece to the back to work her magic while it gave up time to walk around and looked at some of their amazing pieces. Of course there's loads that is a must and I need...lol... Not long afterwards, Ana came back out with the ring and it looked completely different just minutes ago. Whatever she did back there, it was perfect. With sending it in, they would have to do whatever needed to be done which takes a couple weeks. Instead, she suggests that in house cleaning maybe the way to go and see how the results would be. In this case, it was great. If whenever we do decided to send it in, we know the procedure and what to expect. With service that Ana and the rest of the team showed, it's good to know that we'll be in good hands whenever we may need anything. Customer service was excellent and the experience was wonderful. Just a random walked in for a simple question lead to finding someone that would definitely come in handy. It's a smaller store but they do carry a good amount of pieces.

This is my second time here. It is located at the swanky The gardens on El Paseo. I really like…read morethis shopping area. All the shops are nice. It is all outdoors though which in 110 degree great in the summer maybe it isn't so nice. I found 30 minute parking right in front but on a busy weekend, they have a garage. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and they were not busy at all. I'm the only customer which means they will follow you around wherever you go. The lady who helped me was OK, she wasn't the best. The last time I came the man that helped me was super friendly. He offered cold sparkling mineral water. He suggested restaurants for us to eat at. He was super friendly. This lady did ask what we were doing afterwards. I guess she was trying to strike up conversation. I brought in my previously purchased necklace. This would be the 4th time I have had to get it fixed. The first 2 times I went to Portland, Oregon, and then South Coast Plaza in Costa mesa and . Portland has a little private seating area with bottles of water. They have you sit with them and sign paperwork. No charge to fix the tangle. Same with Costa mesa. My first time at El Paseo, I thought he fixed my necklace that day. Today, I'm told they can't fix the tangle which I wasnt even here for that. It somehow got tangled when I put it in the pouch. She said they could not detangle at the store. I came in because the clasp had broken. She said she would have to send it to New York and it would cost $75. The clasp I can understand would cost but not to detangle. I went ahead and sent it to get fixed and it should take about 2 weeks. We will see how service is when I return to pick up my necklace.

Visited this pawn shop for the first time to look for vintage jewelry to purchase. (I am an avid vintage collector and know prices) The store was nicely organized with plenty of room to browse. I purchased a vintage micro mosaic brooch that was inexpensive at $40 which is the going price for this type of brooch on Ebay. Meh. I had heard that shopping at pawn shops you can find some good deals on jewelry, but from this first experience I feel like I received some false information. The place was clean and the men who worked there were polite and provided great service, so for that they get 4 stars. They did tell me that this was the nicest of all their pawn shops.
