Mediterranean skillet

WOW!! I ordered the Mediterranean skillet with poached eggs. You get 4! Plus pamcakes.. The portion was huuuuge! A wonderful concoction of black olives, tomatoes onions and Feta cheese and chicken on a bed of hashed browns.. I will be back!

Hubski and I love this little hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant. The food is always fresh and very reasonably priced. The staff is also super sweet and very attentive. Definitely our go to place close to home for a nice breakfast .

This review is for my door dash orders only. I've ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash multiple times. They always accept my order super fast and make it fresh. They give a large amount of food and is most def worth the price! The meat lovers skillet is fantastic I order it every time.

Food here is good and always leaves me full! Service is always quick, work can come in but the workers come in as swiftly as they can. The music is pleasant and the surroundings are as clean as possible.

Decided to try a smaller less known spot. This spot was clean, nicely hidden but a gem. Parking upfront. Bright inside. Retro feel inside which I like but clean. Server was nice, friendly, on point. Food was fast, delish. I forgot what I ordered but I remember it was something with egg whites and potatoes. Lol.

The specials board is a keeper.

We walked in and immediately felt like we had walked on to a Rob Zombie movie set - if he were directing Happy Days. Very much a Midwestern small town diner in the middle of the south end of the city. As quaint as everything is - it isn't manufactured to look quaint - it just is. Odd art that some local person created is hanging all over the walls - and is for sale. Every manner of person from the reddest of necks to the bluest of blood to the whitest of trash can be found eating their deliciously prepared food. The waitress - Beverley - warned us that if we come back any day but Tuesday - she'll give us a "run for our money." Tuesday is tough because the lunch special is "almost everything." There is a HUGE dry-erase board that says the special is "almost everything on the menu - $4.95." Coffee was great - service was better. People watching was nearly peerless. Quirky little place. Almost hate to talk about it because if it gets too popular - it might lose the charm - but I am willing to take the chance - if only to get enough people there to keep them happy and healthy and OPEN!

Unsanitary, bad crowd, had expired cream on the table. Lots of mess ups. I wouldn't consider this place. Food almost made me sick

I had been to the other location in IN for breakfast so this was my first dinner and visit to this location. Good spot for a nice date night as well. They are intentional with the choices so the menu was not overbearing. I had the Chicken piccata which was very good. Pasta was cooked well and the sauce flavorful. My friend had the chicken fingers and waffles. Bacon was cooked into the waffle and it came with a caramel maple sauce. Another friend had the fish and chips. She ordered another to go for her son she liked it that much. They have a decent bar and lots of beer choices. Dessert choices were good as well. We had the monkey bread that was not overly sweet like some can be. Prices were comparable and portion size for my meal was enough for me with take home. Service was great as well. Our questions were answered and food was brought to the table hot!

There's additional parking on the street and some nearby parking lots if needed. I ordered the pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, (club 1), and then the French toast, which had strawberries and bananas (yep I was hungry ha!) Everything was delicious. The waiter was friendly, and the service was quick. The adjacent table to us had a World War 2 vet and his son. I walked over to his table, paid for his breakfast, and thanked him for his service. Evidently he's a regular. All in all, the food was great, the service was great, and everyone was friendly.

It has always been you got a small cup of soup with your lunch order, but the other day I went in to order a to go food and was told soup no longer comes with carry out orders but does with dine in. This was at the Orland Park location. They will be seeing more and more competition as Egg Harbor has opened and now Egg and Berry is opening down the street. There is no logic to this as you have to pay the same price and was told you must order a bowl of soup and not a cup of you want soup with your order. Just recently I saw that the Frankfort location closed as that location was the worst of all of the others that I go to. The location on Harlem needs to be remodeled as it is looking run down.

I ordered the Poblano Benedict, two poached eggs with chorizo, a little cilantro on top, all sitting on a roasted poblano pepper held together by an English muffin. From the very first bite the chipotle hollandaise sauce took the spot... wow. Creamy and smoky, just the right amount of heat. When the yolk mixed with the sauce, it took the whole thing to another level. Easily one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in a while.

Situated in a strip mall and operating a very large dining room, the restaurant was very nice. Now you don't come here for the ambiance ... because it is just one large room ... but the food and staff make the trip worth the visit. Quick service from friendly waitstaff, a nice selection of items on the menu, and all-in-all your typical breakfast place. Make sure you are ready when you order, because the food comes out quickly. Interestingly, we never tried the waffles ... we'll have to make a point of trying them on our next visit. Recommended.

Our waitress Melissa was super friendly and nice. Very spacious inside and give like an older restaurant feel which I really missed. I got the vegetable omelet with cheddar cheese, pancakes and fruit and it was soooo good! I took some home for the next day. My friend got the banana, chocolate chip crepe and she also took half home for the next day. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was the prices online via the dine in menu differs quite a bit. But since we were already there, we decided to try and we are glad that we did. I personally will be back but have to keep in mind the menu prices online is incorrect.
