First off let me say, JoAnn closing is the only reason I dare go to Michaels. The customer service is crap from beginning to end. It's hard to find workers throughout the store, then when you actually do find "assistance" they don't know anything. The lines are always long, then they want you to self checkout. The selection isn't anything like JoAnns either. I can't really say you're getting Value because most items are overpriced, and unless you are paying regular price you can't get the sometimes 30% off 1 single item. Then curbside is a joke, wheres the phone number or something to click on the app like many of the other stores with seamless pickup! I'm just overall not happy about Michaels crafts, they recently made changes to their app so finding coupons is like finding Nemo!! If I could give a 0 I would have. Good luck or go to Hobby Lobby with longer lines but better prices or most likely 50% off ( and rain checks ).

As of today, 2/15/26, have had Aaron brothers frame 2 of 3 vintage posters for me. Excellent work, the third, was too expensive. However, the framing exceeded the cost of the art,but wtf. Thank you

The good: It's not Hobby Lobby. Frames were on sale for buy one get one free. Luciano was super helpful about colored pencils and markers The bad: We arrived at 545 to get 2 more frames after coming in earlier. The person doing framing said it would be best to come back with the poster that needed mating. When we arrived, we waited at the framing area for someone to help us. And I walked up to the guy working in the section he said "I'm not allowed to do it, framing closes an hour before closing. His manager wouldn't let him do it." There are no signs that say they close framing early. If there was a sign, we would not have returned. I spoke to the manager who kept saying they close framing early as if it's common knowledge. I asked to put a sign up so I wouldn't have came in.

First and foremost, the customer service here was great. The staff who helped us with custom framing were friendly and super helpful. When there was some complication between using a gift card and paying with a credit card, staff seemed very willing and ready to help us. We were really impressed. And, when you do custom framing here, staff generally would be more than happy to walk you through the process and let you play around with different ideas for frames, colors, and everything to make the product fit what you have in mind as closely as possible. I also liked the variety of the off-the-shelf frames that were available when we were at the store today. As for value, look out for some in-store deals such as BOGO free. They have those sometimes. Overall, I had a good experience at this Michaels store.

My boyfriend and I were driving around his hometown and out of no where I decided to ask if there is a Michaels around. Lucky he said yes and I was so excited to go. The last time I went to Michaels was when I was visiting Seattle 2 years ago! Michaels is by far one of the largest craft stores I've ever been to and I love it! I swear I always get lost when searching for arts and craft items in there! When I go to Michaels I normally head straight towards the bead section. They have a wide variety of beads and they also have discounts on them too! From my past visit I got these beautiful glass, plastic, and wood beads! I can't wait to use these on my Rave Kandi cuffs and perlers! Overall, I personally love Michaels I wish we had a large craft store like this back in Hawaii. I know when I visit the mainland I'll be sure to hit up the craft store again for some goodies!

This is definitely one of my favorite Michales locations. The rem members are always will yo go the extra mile to help me locate the items needed for a new project. They also have a great selection of Cricut products and a large assortment of shirts in both youth and adult sizes. There is ample parking and several handicap spots right upfront. You'll also find a cut pond just behind the store and a little grassy area for the little ones to run around. There's even a small restaurant/bar in the plaza for Dad to grab an ice cold brew while mom grabs a glass of wine.

    Needed some cardstock!

Does anyone know if this location closed permanently or moved? I went yesterday and saw they replaced it with an Ulta

They didn't move it, it's still open, you were just in the wrong shopping center. It's one over to the right, across from bed bath and beyond- not in the one with Ross/ orchards.

This experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it…read more On a Saturday evening around 6:50 p.m., I stopped by Hobby Lobby with my 4-year-old daughter and my elderly mother-in-law. We were preparing for an upcoming funeral, and I needed help with an expensive gold frame I had purchased from Hobby Lobby. One of the corners had separated, and I wanted to know whether the framing department could repair or reinforce it. Because the frame was large and heavy, I left it in my trunk until I confirmed that someone could help. My mother-in-law waited nearby so she could rest while my daughter accompanied me to the framing counter. I approached the employee working in the framing department and asked if he could assist me. His first response was, "I'm off in six minutes - what do you need?" The tone immediately caught me off guard. As I began explaining that the corner of the frame had broken apart and needed reinforcement, he interrupted me and said, "Stop. Just hurry up and tell me what you need." I was surprised because I was simply trying to explain the issue so he could determine whether it was something the framing department could fix. I told him the frame was needed for a funeral and asked if it could be repaired. Instead of addressing my question, he asked why my husband couldn't fix it. I explained that my husband is currently deployed, so he wasn't available to help, and that while I would try to repair it myself if necessary, I also work full-time. His response was simply, "So do I." At that point, it was clear that helping me was not a priority. What made the interaction even more upsetting was that my 4-year-old daughter asked afterward, "Mommy, why was that man so mean? Why didn't he want to help us?" Hearing that from my child was heartbreaking. I told her that maybe he was having a difficult day because I wanted her to understand that we should still try to show kindness to others. I shared my experience with the manager, who told me that this employee often tells others how important it is to be friendly with customers. Unfortunately, that was not reflected in the interaction we experienced. Thankfully, we went to Ace Hardware afterward, where an employee immediately took the time to help us. He recommended reinforcing the frame with small metal corner brackets, nails, and gold spray paint. His advice worked perfectly, and we were able to save the frame in time for the funeral. This review isn't about expecting perfection. Everyone has stressful days. It's about the importance of treating people with basic courtesy and respect, especially when they may already be going through a difficult time. A little kindness can make all the difference. Unfortunately, that was missing from our experience at Hobby Lobby.

On occasion, they will have their giant inflated Pikachu right out in front of the little shopping center area, so you can't miss it when that happens. What do they sell here? Kind of a little bit of everything really. There's toys, plushies, video games, models, figures, and of course Pokemon cards along with other stuff. Lots of fun stuff for all, and for all ages too as they have quite a bit of retro stuff floating around here. The place does remind me quite a bit of the kind of set-up I would see in Japan and stuff, where display cases are all over, with stuff just sprawled out inside of them for people to look and peruse over. There really aren't too many of these places like this anywhere nowadays. Good nostalgia just from that perspective. Makes it fun. How is the pricing of everything? Actually reasonable for most things I saw here. There were some things that seemed to be fairly overpriced, but it was mainly for the rarer stuff which is understandable, but still pretty far over the market price elsewhere (online and such). But the general stuff sold here were all fair enough for a physical store. The service here, I actually didn't really interact with them much. While I was walking around the store I did hear customers converse with the staff and it seemed friendly enough, so I assume it's fine. They seemed eager to help when people walked up to the counter-adjacent areas, so there's that. Though I didn't walk out with anything the first time I visited the place, finally, I certainly almost wanted to grab something quite a few times as I was making my way through there. Will definitely be back at some point later.

Anyways, the daughter wanted to check this place out to get something for her friend's birthday; unfortunately, they didn't have the items/characters she was looking for. We browsed around, and it seems that a lot of the store is focused on modeling kits - lots of those, Gundam, paints, tools, etc. They have some aisles for plushies and other soft characters / mascots, etc., and some for figurines as well. They also have limited selection of those lottery things where you pay for a ticket, reveal what the ticket has and get that "prize." One of the things that caught our eyes were their mystery / blind boxes. Gambling! My daughter ended up getting a few of those, but sadly some repeats. Bad luck haha. Noticed they had a couple sets of Labubu for sale as well, but similar to a lot of stuff here, they were heavily marked up. For instance, when we went, Have a Seat was $65 a box and Big Energy or something was $85 a box. Wowzers! Crazy how there is such a hype, but they are hard to get, so desperate consumers would pay desperate prices I suppose. There was also a table of mystery bags. There is a hint to which character or anime or contents as well. None of those really caught our eyes, but maybe someday!
