I came here to pick up a few things for a project that I was working on. I found what I needed. Went to the counter but I couldn't use the kiosk because I was paying with cash. So, Aden said I can help you over here. He was super nice. And funny. We started talking as he was ringing me up. He mentioned that they were doing a $5.00 grab bag but it's really a box. I asked what was in them he told me old seasonal items from Christmas, Valentine's Day, new years ect. Ect. The store is trying to sale all items to clear out the old to bring in the new. He was honest which I really found refreshing. He said he box is a surprise, he said you like surprises right. I said no, your wrong Aden, I do not like surprises at all. We started laughing. He said it's only $5.00 I said ok, I'll take 1. He said ok cool, when you come back tell me what you got. I'm doing you 1 better Aden, I made a video. It's might be a mess because I had to record it myself. Yikes here goes nothing. Aden is super dope. Until next time Aden. Your awesome.

This Michaels store in Natomas is clean but a little disorganized. Some items are not easy to find. I'm here looking for some artificial flowers. They're poorly displayed and mixed with the other items in the same section. I finally found what I wanted, and the price was reasonable. The workers were a little hard to find on the sales floor when I was looking for help. However, the cashier at the checkout counter is friendly and moves the line quickly!

Went in there yesterday to purchase Cricut vinyl materials. As always, I show the price as listed on Cricut.com in order to price match. Was never an issue until yesterday, where the employee at the front said that the manager said they don't price match Cricut. I asked if she was sure, because it was never an issue before. They didn't price match. As per Michaels.com, it is policy that they price match Cricut.com. I suggest the manager take time to review the company's policy. Drove out of my way to go to Michaels, and ended up leaving with nothing.

Came in for a few items and while browsing got inspired for more D.I.Y. FUN, I even got a great deal where I buy two and get half off ONE!

I thought it was so cool that I got to go behind the counter and pick frame options off the wall - they really have everything you could ever need! We found a matte and frame that worked well with my other degree, which I brought for reference. The whole thing was under $300, which was very reasonable for what I ordered! They also gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and they also offer teacher discounts! The framing was estimated to take 6 weeks, which was a little long. However, the wait is worth it, as they custom-order and shape the frame to your needs. My order was finished in a little less than that timeline, which I appreciated. They also gave me hanging advice and tips for where it would look best. I love how it turned out and will definitely be back when I next have something special to commemorate!

The water colors are special they have really good opacity and sit well on top of the paper. They might not have as nice of translucency as other brands. However they are really expensive and there are other products that are available for cheaper and comparable quality on the market. However, the staff can be aloof and rude within the store. The teachers are generally sweet and supportive and classes are affordable. After multiple positive class experiences, I had inquired about teaching as I have been doing art for a while and really wanted to give back to my community and share what I know I'm good at. The application to get involved process was odd, they were slow to respond, but also rude and unprofessional. It upfront on their goals and processes. I was not notified that there was a already an established class nearly identical to my proposal prior to filling out a lengthy application. I was also told they didn't want to move forward because I lacked an established creative arts background (while not inquiring directly about a CV), which was later amended to they were unable to move forward due to scheduling and volume of inquiries (while only offering 3 in person classes that month instead of the standard dozen). I have no issue with being rejected, it's all about fit anyways, but was saddened to have my creative experience being belittled and the lack of professionalism. It was just a very odd and condescending experience that I would not want any artist that puts their heart and soul into a proposal to have to experience.

This small business makes its own watercolors and letterpress paper goods. CfM watercolors are made from high-quality pigments and natural binding mediums (gum arabic, glycerin, honey, distilled water, and clove oil). Some CfM watercolors are more expensive than others because colors like Malachite and Lapis Lazuli are made from actual crushed minerals. Please note that their watercolors are priced similarly to other premium watercolor brands like Stoneground Paint Company and Beam Paints. [Best seller]: The CfM Small Palette (fits up to 14 half pans and has room in the center for a small travel brush) and the CfM Simple Travel Palette (small enough to fit in a purse or pocket) are some the top favorites.
