IMHO I came here specifically to buy some picture hanging tools and to find some frames to showcase some painted fabric squares that I had been gifted from a local Maui artist. I had a hard time deciding which frames were best to highlight and protect the artwork. I walked over to the framing department and asked for advice from Richard. He kindly showed me that my choice would work, and he even opened up the frame to show me how to do it when I got home. He was very encouraging which boosted my confidence immensely! Thank you, Richard! Chris rang me up at the register and was very helpful when I asked for extra wrapping protection for the frames so that they wouldn't scratch each other. By the way, they have tons of fall decorations available at great discount already!

This is my go-to Michaels, always has what I am looking for and there's always a coupon I can use. I bit frustrating that they took out their price checkers because some items are mislabeled and the surprise at the register isnt fun. However there really isn't another store that I can get more of the craft items I need so I continue to come back. Parking isn't an issue for the most part but it's the Coleman shopping center so if you pick the wrong day and time, it may be a struggle.

This is my go-to spot for arts and crafts supplies, festive decorations, and getting the most bang for your buck! Their sales are great, and I've always had a good experience with their customer service. Just keep an eye on pricing, some items can be a bit steep if they're not on sale.

An errand for my mom usually involves a trip here. It was hard to find a staff member to help me but when I found one, she walked me over to what I was looking which was nice. The checkout line moved slowly. Great

I love buying crafts from Michaels and stopped by since I was in the shopping center.   I walked in and a staff welcomed us in. I believe he was also counting how many customers were coming in to limit capacity of customers. I found cookie cutter I wanted and several other baking items. I also found some cool crochet items. My kiddo found several items of interest. We grabbed all our items and the cashier efficiently took care of our transactions. I recommend checking the website as they always offer coupons. Our shopping experience was great. There's markers to keep 6 feet apart in line. The store is clean, organized, and the aisles are clear of items on the floor. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and efficient.

It's been a while since I've been to this location, but it felt a bit low on stock of most things. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the new holiday, new fixtures, or what - but it felt like there wasn't much to see or choose from aside from the Christmas selection. I ended up coming here and I felt like the friendliness and availability of staff was much lower than previous experiences - including those at other locations as well. I reached out to a staff member for help and she helped, but it felt like the friendliness, interest in helping, and general success in helping fell pretty short. I've been to Michael's where in the event that a product wasn't available or was missing, I'd be asked what project I was working on and guided to another product/solution to ensure I could complete it. However, this visit felt almost like the best I could get was available - and that wasn't saying too much. I do appreciate the girl for at least showing me another possible location, because the store was really empty of things, but I felt like a bit of a bother at the same time. I think given Michael's is taking a self checkout approach, most staff members don't feel engaged to help out or less obligated to do so. The small talk at the cash register is instead replaced with silence as you scan and bag your own products. "Did you find what you were looking for?" Is now gone, and in a post pandemic world, less social interaction feels louder than ever. I haven't been to other locations yet to notice the new change, but it does feel like a sad change and end to an era. As someone who shops and does self check out at the grocery store, the craft store always felt like a nice and stress free place to connect with artists and get advice about projects too, but sadly that's been replaced. Hopefully the stores excitement and abundance in eye catching decor return again, because a relatively low product store with no cashiers and limited interaction felt really sad. I don't even remember if music was playing? But it was midday so there should have at least been some sound. The only bright side was that the register's self checkout didn't give any problems despite being newer. It's just sad to see another thing change.

Flaws but not due to Michaels but my logo material.

The staff walked me through the tufting process and showed me examples of how to tuft properly and efficiently. I even carried a can of Diet Coke to the session as inspiration for my mini rug. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they helped trim and flatten the rug at the end. I also got to make a picture frame using decoden art - picking out my favorite charms and decorating the frame one by one. As you can tell, I chose food- and toy-themed charms to reflect my hobbies. It took us some time to learn how to use the tufting guns properly and it felt like they were understaffed. It would've been nice to have more guidance throughout the process, like if we had any questions we had to wait a very long time for a staff member to be available to help. The seating for tufting is also very close together and it can get a little cramped. But as I mentioned earlier, we were very happy with our finished rugs. After we finished tufting, it took them about an hour to finish them off and we were able to take them home the same day. We also did decoden, which was fun! I was impressed by the charm collection, but it was very hard to find letter charms since they were all mixed up and scarce. Overall, the crafts turned out great, just disappointed by the service. I understand that it was a weekend evening and it wasn't the staff's fault, they were all very kind and understanding. Just understaffed! With tufting especially, having more staff available to help throughout the process if needed would make this experience much more enjoyable.

The classes rarely started on time because the instructor would be eating their late lunch and would consistently forget what he taught us the previous week.
