The sandwiches here are so very good! The servers were friendly and efficient with getting food out. The packaging was really good for to go as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a few spots along the wall with bar stool type seating for dining in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They get really busy and do sell out so go early if you're looking for something specific.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also do have several vegetarian options for sandwiches and possibly one might be vegan. For the salads and hot food there might be more vegan ones depending on offerings that day but not as much selection there and everything is pre-made so there's no customizing as a heads up. You can order a half or a whole sandwich though so you can try multiple and the prices are really good. Will def be back for another caprese and to try the eggplant parm.

First time walking down Pike Market Place and was super overwhelmed. It felt like there were never ending lines for a bigger name places. Michou may not have had a long line that extended outdoors but their food was good. There is a water dispenser with paper cups near the front of their entrance for the public. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since it is small, there were some area near the window counters where you could eat but we went outside in the back to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sandwiches can either be ordered whole or in half and they ask whether you want it toasted or not. We got ours toasted and they cut the sandwich in half and put it in a sandwich bag for easy consumption. I forgot the name of the dessert/bar but the chocolate was extremely rich and thick. For the price I felt like this was an amazing value.

Sandwich display. They have much more food items for sale.

More like 4.2 stars, but tie goes to the runner in this case because its hard to find affordable food in the market. I would say their sweet spot is their sandwich selection. Some sandwiches are better than others, also look out for the quality. I pretty much always get the chicken sandwiches with a few sides, but I do have my eye on the tuna sandwich. As far as flavors go, its just good and sometimes ok food. I keep coming over the years because the quality of ingredients. There are many places that serve healthier food and most of them are kind of bland. This place seems to rely on its ingredients. I honestly appreciate that they allow people to order half sandwiches at a humanly fair price. Eatting here in expensive downtown Seattle will really make you question the pricing structure of sandwiches in the area. To be even more honest their service is pretty much in line with their prices, darn good once you get past the long line of people wanting to eat. I hear they even serve breakfast. Ill have to keep my that in mind in hopes that I get to try their breakfast one day.... and that its worth all the time and energy of keeping them in my list of breakfast places to eat... with that said, I highly recommend them if you just want a simple lunch with options that doesn't have such inflated prices for the area.

Don't skip this spot! It's easy to miss it when navigating the Starbucks crowd, but tucked inside is an incredible deli offering high stacked and deliciously fresh sandwiches, paired with sides and soups. There's so much to try here, and I'm going to slowly work my way through all the different sandwiches they have to offer. Service is quick and welcoming - don't miss out!

Crispy chicken, arugula, pesto and provolone...half sandwich 6 bucks!

This place continues to be one of the biggest bangs for the buck in the entire Pike's area! Super fresh sandwiches (1/2 or whole!)...perfect for lunch! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great little counter top seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Walked in and the whole array of sandwiches are on display and I'm a sandwich guy. I do love a good sandwich with kick. They have a good amount of options but needed something just right... I chose the Tuscan crispy chicken and wasn't disappointed. There's parking noodles flavors and textures are everything you'd expect when you look and the food. Too many options, but definitely need to return for more.

Thai Beef...cut and stacked. Enjoyed this a lot...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Incredibly small spot done at the market.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, their food is phenomenal! Fresh made, toasted, literally melted in my mouth that beef sandwich. Well seasoned. There service is all business because the line gets backed up quickly! I thoroughly enjoyed the food again!

My friend raves about this place and the hype is real. I got a half sierra chicken and although I found my sandwich dry and a little bland, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the service and atmosphere were great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sandwiches are incredible. We had the tuna and the chicken which we took on our hike. They packed well and were the perfect picnic sandwiches! The bread is soft and plush, the flavor was fresh and delicious. Def recommend!

I'm so excited to try this place as many others have review this place. The resounding theme was that this was a great place for sandwiches at a bargain value. The service was fine but not super friendly. You pick out the sandwiches that you wish to try at the counter and wait for it to be heated up in their Panini press. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a small counter where you can eat the sandwich or it's probably best to take it to go and find a place to sit out in the open at the Market.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the Tuscan Chicken sandwich and the Crispy Chicken sandwich, both of which were a letdown because they were flavorless and extremely dry! I had a really hard time finishing the sandwiches. To each their own, but was not impressed. Total for 2 sandwiches was $26, which also wasn't a great value that others have spoken of. Try this place if you wish, but it's not a place I recommend.

I heard some good reviews about Michou so we checked it out while in pike place, but to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. While the prices were all really affordable and everything came to about $15 for 3 items, I expected more from the flavors and portions. We got the portobello half sandwich, the pasta bake, and the bambaloni. The sandwich and pasta were just okay - kind of thin and just a bit lacking in flavors. However the bambaloni definitely made up for it since that was soo tasty, fluffy, and the perfect sweetness. Service was good, all the staff were friendly but nothing over the top and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibes/ambiance were also regularly nice inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I probably wouldn't go back but cool to try it out!

Beautiful selection of deli foods, easy to order!

You know that a business is excellent if you have a strong desire to move closer to the establishment so you could enjoy it more frequently. As someone visiting Seattle, I truly wish that I had a restaurant like this where I am from because they offer such a wide variety of delicious foods, and they are all on display. I was not very hungry before entering the establishment but seeing all of the food options glistening behind the counter made my stomach grumble! My boyfriend and I wanted to try a couple of bites because we were tasting many restaurants in the Pike Market but I was struggling to narrow down my choices because I wanted to try EVERYTHING! We ended up ordering the garlic pesto polenta, and a pastry that had a THICK 1.5 inch orange creme filling. Oh my goodness the food was so delicious. The polenta was perfectly soft and crumbled in my mouth and I loved that it had roasted garlic under the melted cheese. I expected the pastry to be heavy and for the creme to be thick but it was so airy! The orange flavor was so subtle and elevated the taste of the pastry so nicely. My boyfriend and I noticed that they offer breakfast foods that are sold by weight, so we took note of this and came back two days later! We got an affordable breakfast to go for the airport! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most importantly, Michou has a cozy, warm ambiance that makes me feel like I'm with my loved ones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't know how they achieved it but maybe it was thanks to all of the kind servers/workers and customers!

Don't pass up on Michou! You'll def see lines for Piroshsky Piroshsky, Starbucks, Beechers...and while all of these places are iconic for a reason, Michou is also worth dropping in for some deliciously hearty sandwiches and other tasty treats. They have more than sandwiches too - including a soup bar, fresh pastries and other cold and hot dishes. Service is solid and the vibes? Totally worth stopping in especially if you're hungry and not wanting to wait.

Best place in town the service was lacking but the sandwiches were amazing. And the ambiance was great, almost no line near closing time.

What are the measurements of the half sandwiches? I need them to fit in a 6×4×4 box for a baby shower.

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead.
