I have dined at Mici probably 50x's over the last 5 years. Service is ALWAYS excellent. The staff is literally always friendly and happy when helping me with my orders. The food quality is great. I just really appreciate this place because I usually dine here or order take out after a VERY long work week. I'm usually starving and hinging upon hangry haha - though I'm also very friendly during this time. The staff is not only happy to serve me every single time, but they are polite, kind, and professional. I appreciate these people. This place is decent, but I can't say I share the enthusiasm of some fellow Yelpers. Their bread is similar to a sour dough, a little firm. The pasta dishes (From what I've had) are fine...pesto cream bow tie, alfredo, red sauce. The house has grapes and cheese, I think gorgonzola. But the one I had needed more fixins. I appreciate the price point of the house wine but am especially grateful for the Monday nights when free entrees are available to the kids. All in all a good week night option. read more

Had five dear friends in town for a mini-reunion of sorts. Their Airbnb was only five blocks from this Mici so we walked over for lunch. ( I live 3 blocks from their Stapleton store.) It could not have been a more perfect lunch! The manager arranged tables for us without is even asking. The food was, as always, great, as evidenced by the clean plates at the end. I had not visited Mici's since they moved location from Cherry Creek to Colorado Blvd. The staff is as nice and attentive as the previous location but I think the food is better than what I remembered. I had the Creamy Pesto pasta with chicken and it was good. The portion size was huge for the price and who can say no to the garlic bread that came with the meal. The chicken was not lacking in flavor which was my main complaint at the Cherry Creek location. I definitely recommend this Mici location for anyone looking for an affordable and local Italian restaurant. read more

Came in for a quick bite with a friend recently and while I fell in love with the Bruschetta Bianca, what really impressed me about this place was the service. It's an "order at the counter and they bring the food to your table" spot, but felt like a full waiting experience as they check on you and make sure you have what you need. I was most impressed with the way they treated the children who were there. Super friendly and went beyond to keep them smiling. This tipped the scale for me as to whether I'd return soon, despite not having kids. read more

I've had Mici before and enjoyed the crust. I'm trying to use local although i guess this is a chain. I thought I would get more of the crust taste if I ordered just the cheese and no other toppings. The cheese was mixed with the sauce and so salty I couldn't eat it. There was no Italian taste. The salad was free so I should not complain but for the usual price of $9, it was a plastic box of romaine and a container of bottled dressing. Great food, great price, very friendly staff. Needed to get the kids out of the house and get some lunch with the kids. Stopped into Mici for lunch and had a great time. They gave my kids some dough to play with at the table which kept them occupied and the kids thought the dough was really fun. Food was great, will definitely be back. read more

They did give is a $25 credit last time so we bought once more using the credit but even that time they messed up. I was hungry for some traditional spaghetti & Meatballs; I went to their ponderous and confusing website to oder, only to find I could not place my order due to an unexplained problem in entering the order. After spending many minutes, I had to call the restaurant and was told that they had a minimum order amount etc. So I paid a ridiculous $25.00 for a basic order plus I had to add more money for some thick soup, I didn't eat. The spaghetti was meh, the meatballs heavy, dense , but ok. I would highly recommend dining out at a much better highly rated place instead of getting charged such a ridiculous amount. read more

Great food Alex in a incredible GM. I have been going there since it opened. The food there is second to none as far as pizza and Italian food is concerned. The part that I like most about it is you can taste the difference in quality! Whenever I eat there, I always feel light after eating (which is huge because you don't typically get that feeling when eating pizza) I have NOT had anything there I didn't like. Surprisingly solid food for the approach of service. You order at the counter and serve your own drinks, but that's fine. They get food out quickly and makes it a great alternative to a drive up when you don't have a lot of time. My kids are always happy to go. read more

The cashier was super friendly, I wish I caught her name. It was our first time here so she offered us her suggestions. We got the zucchini pizza and tried the cannolis, Italian cookies, and gelato. The manager was also really helpful when we used the Yelp check in to get a free cookie. Afterwards when we visited the botanical gardens and they asked where the gelato was from. The food is very reasonably priced and excellent. More importantly: we went during some kind of a kids party that took over the entire restaurant. The party was loud and obnoxious and many of them stayed late tying up tables and letting their kids run around the restaurant. This place is very good. My family and I love to come here. You're probably thinking it's pizza, right and all pizza is good pizza. But this place is way above; I like to get the calzone with casa salad which in itself is amazing (for a salad, people). My sister is a vegetarian and she can eat tons of things here. This review is for their delivery service only. I haven't actually been to the restaurant yet. My problem with most delivery pizza (and most pizza in general) is that it has too much cheese (I'm probably the only person on the planet who would complain about too much cheese on a pizza...). I guess I'm not a fan of the traditional 'American-style' pizza, but prefer something with lighter ingredients and a good crust. After reading reviews for Mici's (and noticing that they're close to my house), I decided to check them out. After going to their web site, I noticed they have a loyalty program and signed up for that. I think you get more from that program if you actually go into the restaurant, but they give you a code you can use indefinitely to get 10% off your online orders. And speaking of online orders, I LOVE ordering online. I like being able to order and customize my food without someone mis-hearing what I said, and I really like being able to pay with my card online. I have found their online ordering system to be easy to use, and both times I've ordered the food has arrived sooner than the system quoted (I think both times it quoted 45 minutes, but the food arrived in about 30). So far so good. As to the food, both me and The Hubs liked it. While it's not THE BEST pizza I've ever had in my life, it's pretty darn good (unless you like pizza with five pounds of cheese on it, and if you do I think their online system lets you add extra anyway). The crust was crispy and tasty, and the toppings were fresh. I like that they have more vegetables and more 'gourmet' toppings than the average place. We've also ordered salads both times and have found the ingredients in them to be fresh, as well. My only critique/complaint about the ingredients was when I added something extra to a salad. I was charged 50 cents or a dollar (I forget which) to add onion to one of the salads. I don't mind the extra charge, but I did mind the fact that there were only four or five very thin slivers of onion added to a large salad. Really?! I took a star away for that. All things considered, the food is good and the service is good. And my tired self didn't have to leave the house. Life is good (despite the lack of onion)... read more

Got takeout - we ordered 2 calzones and a pesto pasta dish. The calzones were enormous! They didn't skimp on cheese, meats, or veggies. Cheese was clearly very fresh and gooey. The dipping marinara was cold but I can let that slide. The pasta was a liiiiiittle disappointing. It was a bit dry but I think that's just what happens with pasta that you take to-go. The one truly unforgivable issue was that they had run out of lasagna. On a Monday. At 7pm. That is a big no-no for any Italian joint. But given the rest of the food, I will give them a second chance and go try it out. read more

My kids and I were at the museum for the Da Vinci exhibit and wanted something new, and Italian. This place was great! My youngest and I shared the spaghetti and meatball...so tasty and perfect for two. My oldest had a calzone. It was crunchy with lots of cheese, and delicious marinara to dip. Well, I'll start by saying that I don't usually write reviews but I can't help myself. This place is absolutely AMAZING! I've always enjoyed Italian cuisine but I can honestly say that Mici has the freshest, most authentic meals that I have ever had (in this country). I'll also add that I lived in Italy for a time and Mici could give the homeland a run for their money. Sarah, the manager, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff goes above and beyond... I'm so thankful that Mici opened up shop in this neighborhood. I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 10 years and it takes a lot to really WOW but this place does it! I can't express how awesome this staff is - from the back to the front - AND, they just opened! How many newly opened establishments can provide this kind of impressive service and products?
