I ordered a Funguy pizza with marinara sauce (prosciutto, roasted mushrooms, onions, arugula, and there were maybe three small pieces of prosciutto and a handful of mushrooms under the arugula. We have been here a number of times. Up until tonight I would have given Homegrown 5 stars. Usually there is a wait but once seated service is good and the atmosphere is family friendly. Tonight we looked online ahead of time and it said there was no wait. When we got there they said they just needed to clear off a table outside and then we would be seated. We waited for 15 minutes for the table to be clear. When they called our name the waitress that took us to our table discovered that someone else had been seated at the table. She was nice enough to pull together some other tables for us. When we ordered our waitress forgot to bring our drinks. They brought out the kid meal first which I usually appreciate but the rest of our food came out so much later that our son was finished with his dinner before we got ours. Hopefully this was just an off evening. I would like to change my rating after a better experience! read more

You could really taste the smokiness in the cheese. We also ordered the meatballs as an appetizer which was a great start to the meal. I had the "Sippin Pretty" sour ale which was tart and juicy, exactly what you'd expect from a sour, and perfect for the beautiful weather out on the deck. This pizza place was awesome. We shared a spicy Italian sausage pizza and I had an IPA. When we approached, the spot was lively and had music playing on speakers, with string lights and ample spacious outdoor seating with a fire pit. Inside it also felt quite specious with high ceilings and dim lighting. Our service was wonderful and I really enjoyed getting started on the IPA while we waited for the pizza. The pizza was so so good, just the right amount of spicy and had some yummy peppers on it as well. I imagine this place is quite the vibe in the summer for their outdoor seating and can't wait to come back when the weather starts getting warmer. Overall, the atmosphere and vibe were top-notch, service was good and the pizza was exceptional. We started with the brussels sprouts and it felt like chewing on a piece of construction paper. They were very dense and not tender at all. I liked the sauce served with the sprouts. For dinner, I had to take his recommendation of course and ordered the classic burger. It was absolutely delicious! The patty was juicy and the bun was perfectly buttered and toasted. I liked how they put the toppings on the bottom bun to prevent the bun from getting soggy - smart. I can't speak to their Italian pizza or pasta but the burgers here are great! read more

I've been to the location in Littleton, which is great, and this one. Not once have I ever had a good experience at this one. The pizza is always too salty and the salad either under or over dressed. The inside here has major issues with echo so if it gets even remotely full, it is impossible to hold a conversation. Decided to check out their happy hour and it was a decent experience. Their HH drinks are on good discount, so nothing beats a $6 sangria and spritz. The personal pizza is also a good deal though i understand you can't really tell the quality of their pizza from just a basic cheese or pepperoni personal pie. The fingerling potatos were unfortunately overly oily and sitting in a pool of oil but again still a great deal on happy hour so i get it. Service as a bit inconsistent, took very long and had some switch overs which caused us not to get certain things we asked for. And the bartender seemed exasperated by our table when we checked on the drinks we had been waiting for due to the switch over. They have a great patio which can get hot and isn't totally shaded so keep that in mind. But good vibes and good happy hour! Parking can be tough during busy times but you can usually find a spot in the neighborhood a few streets over. read more

The perfect and most delicious place for pizza! We stopped by after our acupuncture treatments at Fire Lily Acupuncture & Wellness for a quick early dinner. Our waitress Taliyah (sp?) was a delight and helped us with the menu. The pizza was so fresh and loaded with flavor. If you like truffles, mushroom and arugula you MUST try it. And the garlic bread was so fluffy so make sure you get it. Next time we come we plan to try one of the salads. The kids got a cheese pizza and a hamburger. They were happy which always makes the meals easier. Let me also add that the games are FREE - say what? However, tonight was by far the most subpar and inconsistent service we have had at this restaurant (we were seated on the patio). We ordered drinks that never came out until an hour after we ordered them. One of the main courses came out 30 minutes before the rest of them (causing our son to be done before the rest of the food arrived). Also, the waitress we had at the beginning of the dinner (who was still serving other tables) stopped serving our table halfway through our dinner and switched with another waiter (who was kind and ended up getting our drinks we ordered from the waitress who we originally had). Additionally, the pasta we ordered (which arrived 30 minutes after our other main course item) arrived lukewarm. Long story short, the food here has always been enjoyable up until tonight's visit and it appears as though the patio service might need some improvement. read more

60 degree sunny Sunday. So, naturally we wanted to take advantage of their outdoor seating. They had 7 tables open that were in the sun, and seeing as we had our toddler with us, we preferred that versus freezing in the shade. The manager proceeded to tell us that those tables were reserved for people with dogs, despite the fact that we were the only ones in line. They then followed that up with a lie, claiming that it was a state law. (It's not) I'm all for dogs at restaurants, as this is Colorado. But refusing to seat us when we were there and no dog owners were in line is just absurd. We'll never go back again. Funny enough, we went down the street to Kaos Pizzeria instead. I absolutely love Homegrown Tap & Dough. This spot is a go to when I have family in town. I have tried a lot of different dishes here and have loved everything! Their chicken parmesan and sausage & mushroom fusili are next level pasta dishes. For pizzas, you really can't go wrong with any of them but I love the spicy italian sausage. They have a great happy hour from 2-5pm M-F featuring their delicious Venetian Spritz, Sangria, and meatballs. The quinoa salad and shaved brussels sprouts salad are both amazing. They have a great patio with umbrellas and lots of different tables and an arcade for kids to enjoy! The interior seating is very unique with some chairlift seats! Typically love this location of Homegrown Tap and Dough. Last night (Mother's Day was a disaster. I called ahead to be put on the waitlist and was seated immediately tho it was packed. After approx 15 mins of waiting, server #1 (who appeared to be part of the kitchen staff wearing a black chef coat) took drink orders. It was another 10+ mins for ice teas and a glass of wine. We waited another 15 mins before server #2 came to take our order. We asked for more ice tea and were told they were out so we switched to water. Approx 45+mins later server #3 came to check on us and state he was taking over, no mention of the delay on our order. No sign of server 1 or 2. We asked the status of our pizza and thankfully it arrived a few mins later. Server 1,2,3 all disappeared. After finishing pizza (20-30mins) and dying of thirst, server #3 returned to see if the pizza came out ok. We asked for more water (tho we noticed other tables with iced tea). Server#3 disappeared. Approx 20 mins later server #2 returned, apologized for wait and asked what we needed. Fearing a long wait for anything else we asked for water and the check which was promptly provided. The delivery time was reasonable as was the price for a large gluten-free pizza. We ordered pepperoni and bacon. The pepperoni was very crispy, but the bacon was black and burnt. When we picked it off you could not identify it as bacon for most pieces. And yet the crust was not burnt, just overcooked. I cannot describe the gluten free crust otherwise because it tasted like it was cooked yesterday and it was just "not hot" it was literally cold to the touch.
