I had the italian beef with sweet peppers and fries. The beef tasted like they added sugar to the juice? And the sweet peppers were just soggy sliced peppers. I was driving on Cicero and randomly stopped in here. Generous fast food menu with burgers, gyro, ribs and a number of chicken dishes including broiled chicken on a pita, a chicken oregano dinner and even chicken fajitas. The food was great & it's always a pleasure to eat here but I was really disappointed in the change of their shakes. I love the icy slushee texture it would have but today I got it and it was milky & had chucks of strawberries in it. If you can go back to how you'd prepare the shakes before I'd be a more satisfied customer. read more

This place is a good bang for the buck. I have been to this place for sit down and carry out. They have a text special once a week or so. I have tasted the rib tips, full slab ribs, burgers, chicken ranchero, and gyros. Everything I tasted here is very good. The short gentleman knows me on a first name basis. Mickey's iconic to the Village of Oak Forest. I have to admit I've been to Mickey's twice this week and both times the food was excellent. I don't believe that there is anything on their all encompassing menu that I wouldn't give a try at least once. My personal favorite is the grilled chicken on pita bread but their menu is so much more than your typical gyro platter. Always good food just not the right food. Yet again, got a messed up order through the drive through. Last time i ordered rib tips and got a half slab of ribs and had to remind them to make the shakes we ordered. This time i called in advance and ordered 2 gyros sandwiches with 4 extra cucumber sauces on the side, 2 pizza puffs and 2 shakes. Solid restaurant to go and get tasting food for you that's terrible for your health...but is so gratifying to golf down and not think twice. The prices are affordable and the value is amazing. Not the best experience. The building was styled like a typical Chicago Greek restaurant but with no table service. I had the gyro sandwich which was tasty. The ambiance left a lot to be desired, however. A very sterile environment in the dining room. I called ahead so I wouldn't have to wait for my fried food (cauliflower) but the cook never dropped it so I was still left waiting. Not impressed. read more

If you like burgers, gyros and such, this is the place for you. The gyro plate is huge and tastes great. I love their tatziki sauce. The big mickey is the best burger in town. HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! Remember the old saying the customer is always right? Well they do not abide by that! And we actually were right!!! The drive through girl(short hair,butchy looking girl)needs to SERIOUSLY clean out her ears! My husband ordered a gyros plain no sauce and he always specifically says..."only pita,meat and onion". Well,he gets home and of course there is sauce on it! Ok,mistakes happen. So, he drives all the way back and mind you this is now is 2nd trip in crappy,snowy weather with slick roads. He goes through the drive through and the SAME girl assures him this time it has no sauce. Only pita,meat and onion. He gets home for the 2nd time. At this point 45 minutes has passed and he has to eat on schedule due to his stomach condition. There is frigging sauce on it AGAIN!!! And the VERY RUDE female manager(spoke with a Greek accent maybe?) had the nerve to tell him he was never at the restaurant! And argues and argues and argues with him! Now this will be a 3rd trip in crappy weather,a hungry husband who now has pain in his stomach due to hunger and not eating on time! After the manager finally talks to the girl at the drive through and finds out SHE messed up she still continued to be VERY IGNORANT about it and offered not one apology or anything to make the situation better! We will NEVER go to Mickeys again! Food isn't even that good anyways!! If I could have given it less then one star I would have!! At the end of the day MAKE SURE you check your food in the drive through and if you don't and they mess up your order be prepared to be spoken to ignorantly!! UPDATE:Husband went back for the THIRD. time and they refunded his money MINUS the French fry that he actually ate. Visited many times in the past. Dined there tonight and had been playing their slot machines when i asked for a soda refill she stated it was .50 cent charge. I questioned even if your playing your slot machines and she responded yes. Very poor customer service , no free refills on soda when playing the slot machines. It's not like i was asking for a beer refill. Yet they offer free $5 slot play with any $10 food purchase with coupon but can't provide their customers with free soda refills while playing the machines. Never again I'll take my slot machine play somewhere else!!! read more

This place used to be pretty good but, the last time I went through the drive thru I ordered ribs and they sent me home with Gyros plates. I had to bring back my order wait for a new order - didn't even get a sorry, just a bring it back and we will give you the right stuff. Thought we'd give them one last shot. This time we went in and ordered take-out. Got home and half the order was missing and the gyros were cold. Had to go back and again - this time I got a sorry. But nothing for my wasted time and gas. I like this Mickey's location even better than the one in Tinley. I'm not really sure why though... the food is pretty much the same. It's a good, cheap place to go for some quick, greasy eats. This location also has beer, which the Tinley location does not. read more

Stopped in for lunch and Had a big Mickey burger which was OK but nothing special. I sure wouldn't rate it one of the best around. Also had a bowl of chili which tasted like it came out of a can not good at all. The place was crowded so a lot of people must like the place. This place is AMAZING!!!! It always takes me at least 15 minutes to decide what I want to order because everything is so good! The Philly Steak Sandwich is so delicious, the Italian Beef is great too...really I like one thing more than the last! Ribs and gyros best in the neighborhood- and the best part are the prices! Incapable of following simple instructions. Do not waste your time for garbage food. Cashiers cannot understand "no onions " then give you the wrong change. The gyros meat is bland and under cooked , with an u appealing grayish color. The fries are the standard crinkle cut fries available at any bowling alley, only served cold. read more
