Fry the Coop in Tinley Park is consistently delicious. I'm a fan. I've eaten here several times, and the food is always cooked fresh and tastes great. The customer service is good, and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. The inside is really spacious with plenty of seating, and there's ample parking in the lot. They offer different heat levels such as Country, Mild, Hot, Crazy, and Insanity. I like my chicken Mild. My go to order is the Nashville Chicken Sandwich with cheese on top, the seasoned Fresh Cut House Fries, and a Chicken Tender plate. This plate has coleslaw, pickles, fries, and dipping sauce. I get this every time. The service is quick, and the wait is short. I definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

I had a really disappointing experience here. The service was rough from the start--the workers seemed uninterested and not very helpful. To make things worse, about half the menu was sold out, which already limited options quite a bit. After finally ordering, the food came out cold, which was the final letdown. For the price and the reputation, I expected way better. Definitely not somewhere I'd rush back to. read more

They have a drive thru which is very convenient. I ordered the three chicken tender plate, which comes with coleslaw, pickles, bread, fries, and two sauces. With tax it was $13.66. This was my first time ever coming to this location and I tried the mild flavor and I thought it was a little bit spicy. Next time I think I might go a lesser heat level. The coop sauce and ranch was good, they do have hand cut fries. Service was quick. read more

This is the second time I've had Uber deliver an order to my home, and once again I was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived hot, the meal was delicious, and the fries, although a little dry, were still flavorful. The portions were generous, especially for the price. Today I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich from Fry the Coop in Tinley Park. The inside of the restaurant is really spacious; lots of areas to sit down. You order and pay for your food at the same time and you pick up your food about 5 to 8 minutes later. There are different heat levels - Country, Mild, Hot, Crazy, and Insanity. I got the mild heat level and I literally can just taste the flavor of the seasonings instead of my mouth being on fire, which was great! Their french fries were super delicious too. Nice place with good food. Focus is on chicken. Tenders are where I would go. They are big, spicy, and delicious. The chicken sandwiches are good, but I would rather skip the bun and get more meat which is what the tenders offer. Not sure why they don't have iced tea near the fountain drinks. This place was an utter disappointment. I drove over an hour one way to try their fries. What could be better than fresh french fries cooked properly in beef tallow ? My order was barely warm, and as limp as limp can get. I fully expected the order to take a little bit longer because I understood that it would be fresh. I did wait extra time, but it had nothing to do with the quality. Do not make a special trip to try their food. Not only did I waste over two hours in a round trip. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was pretty tasty and their honey butter made the dish. Not impressed with their fries, they were salty, they tasted like they had been sitting there for a while and they were pieces of fries, like the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. My sister ordered the Nashville mild chicken sandwich which tasted like the hot but over all it was tender, juicy and seasoned well. I felt like their food was overpriced I spent almost $15 for just the chicken and waffles with a side order of fries. Not sure I'll be back. This wasn't a bad experience but nothing I had made me say I can't wait to come back. read more

Ordered for the first time. Based on the menu I don't eat the hot or buffalo chicken so I ordered the sandwich Country which states no heat. On the plus side the chicken was large and moist. But it had seasoning thot is spicy. So no heat really didn't apply unless I got the wrong sandwich. Fries were not that great. And the pickles that they use are spicy. Didn't expect that. I know they are known for their hot chicken but I think the menu statements are a little misleading. If you like spicy you probably will enjoy this. However prices are a bit high. read more

Food was delicious and the portions were good for the price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it truly has flavor and the customer service is great. I can tell the staff and cook are passionate in what they serve and cook. The ambiance is good as well, a lot of seating for family dine ins and for easy pick up. I liked seeing the different decorations and paintings on the wall as it represented what fry the coop stands for. Once again I would recommend this restaurant for a good chicken sandwich oh and the macaroni is very good. read more

Nashville style hot chicken places are popping up all over Chicagoland recently, i fully support the trend and have tried several. Fry the Coop is the best of them. I first went to the one on 95th in Oak Lawn, but then they opened one up closer to me in Tinley Park and now i go about once a week. The heat is for real, i bumped it up from medium to hot once and it was no joke. And they go 2 levels hotter! Medium is perfect for me, just enough spice to have a kick. Fries are good. My wife likes the mild chicken and waffles. read more

The food here is immaculate! It's almost perfect. The spice on the hottest one is no joke, so if you can't handle immense heat go with medium because it's way more mild. I got my food when it was 2:30 pm and it took 5 minutes! Perfect, fast service. Inside, it felt a bit empty, but the decor and paintings inside were very clean. Go here! read more

Overpriced chicken for what?! Plain and simple, just spice and the fries are just the remains of the fry bag, old and crumbled about an inch in length. These are not fries! The food is cold to touch upon eating you don't have to wait for it to cook down. Won't ever come here again for two sandwiches and 2 orders of fries for $38. LOL THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. read more

I finally tried Fry the Coop in Tinley Park, IL I ordered the Nashville Chicken Sandwich (heat level - medium) and the SEASONED fries The combination of the sandwich & fries was soooo good! The flavor was amazing just make sure you add the fries to your order because it does not come with the sandwich (the seasoned fries were delicious)! The sandwich was also REALLY good, and I felt like the medium heat was perfect for me (they have various heat levels, choose what's best for you)! What I would want differently.... the sandwich wasn't as warm as I would have like liked it to be. Not sure if they're just prepping them in advance, but I like my sandwiches to be hot and fresh! So, I'll be sure to ask for that specifically next time... It was also pretty pricy so it wouldn't be a regular spot for me...but I will SURELY be back when I'm craving it, & trust me I will read more

I've had food from Fry The Coop before, which is why I decided to have it tonight, big mistake, the nuggets were dry and the fries were old and overcooked, my husbands chicken sandwich was dry, very disappointed tonight. Will not be back. Money down the drain, and they have the nerve to ask for a tip. Unbelievable. read more

Also got some Nutella butter cookies that they farm in from D'Amatos that is in the city. I have been in D'Amatos and I love their cookies. With that said, these D'Amato cookies were stale/also tasted off. The tip-off should have been the fact that they must have had fifty or more packaged D'Amatos cookies on their shelf. They are bumping $10.00 for around maybe 12 cookies, so they obviously don't sell all that quickly, turn stale, and there you have it. Also weird vibe in there. The employees (including the Rubino son who is always in the deli area) are not friendly at all. I might be a little bit more forgiving if the employees/owner were nice but they are just really indifferent and very unfriendly (especially the owner). Very unfortunate. Sandwiches from Subway would have been better.

I also indulged in a couple bottles of their smoothies, blueberry with avocado, banana, bananas, cane sugar, and a strawberry banana with the same cane sugar also vegan friendly. I originally learned of this place when I worked in Tinley Park a couple years ago and drove all the way from Chicago today to go there to treat myself. As usual, I was greeted with kindness by Chris, who was working the register at the time. The ambience is surreal, it provides a quiet place to enjoy your food, read, work or if you need to just reflect on life. This is one of my favorites and although they're not close to Chicago, it's worth the drive! I was a little disappointed that they no longer have my avocado rolls. I really enjoyed those but everything is still good. I wish I could get more vegan options on the menu but overall, Avocado Theory is a 12 out of 10.

My taco standards are high because I lived in LA for 13 years. My aunt got the ground beef burrito dinner. She enjoyed it and had leftovers. I ordered two chicken and one steak taco. I loved the chicken tacos. I got mine with lettuce and tomato. And there were chips on the table that came with a saucy salsa. They also had Dr Pepper which is a major plus in my book. They would have been five stars in my eyes. But today, I came back craving tacos. I had been released from the hospital and all I wanted were these tacos. We looked up their hours on Yelp. It said they'd be open until 4. I called ahead to try to place a pickup order. I called for 15 minutes straight. No one picked up the phone. They also don't have an accurate menu anywhere listed online. All the Yelp menus are over 8 years old. Well we arrived before 4 and the door was locked. There were people inside eating and they just stared at us. It just left a bad taste in my mouth so I won't be coming back. You have hours and a phone for a reason.
