    This is my new favorite place. I have found a love for keyboards and micro center is a hidden gem that I want to share with every tech girlie. It's such a cool place and knowledgeable people work there. Mr J Mendez wasn't there today but I found a lot of good deals. . Check them out.

    Every time I've gone here I've been satisfied and have a good experience. The staff are nerds at heart and treat you like family. They don't bs around you and sell stuff, they'll straight up tell you they're not knowledgeable and not try to make up things. Emmanuel helped me out and he was a true trooper, answering my questions and unlocking cases for products. Walked away with a GoPro and a fixed apple watch sent to repair. Love these guys

    Since my last review I have had the pleasure of meeting David Kelly, Jared Riviera, and Lucas. I will start with my last visit. David Kelly was so helpful. I'm trying to train my puppy so often I will take him with me. I recently moved and needed a boost to the Wi-Fi and David was able to guide me in the right direction. When my first option didn't work and I had to return it David showed me the extenders that I would need and how to go about installing them. It was definitely a win win.. Even though I don't think it was his section he also helped me to find a screen protector for a phone that I had yet to purchase but I now have. Lucas was definitely helpful when I went to purchase a printer. I had heard or read that LaserJet printer's are better because they don't run out of ink as quickly. Lucas took his time and went over several different options and I was very satisfied with my purchase. Jared helped me with one of my first purchases on the sales floor. I needed quite a few things because I recently bought a desk and I needed everything from cable ties to a USB extender and a few other things. Jared was so kind and so helpful. He immediately offered his assistance when he saw which was great.

    I came here to pick up my order with my wife & I wanted to see if I would be treated differently if I came back in without her. Ladies & gentlemen, yes. As a male, I am treated MUCH differently without my wife walking besides me. I get it, my wife's beautiful & she's a catch, raised by a well-known pastor, but this micro center needs to hire more females to keep the male employees interested in the non-married women demographic. Here's what happened: I came in to pick up my order, a gentlemen with glasses came out which seems like the manager & randomly came out of the back room, approached my wife & I & gave us his card. How often does this happen? I'm not sure. But after I loaded my order in my car, I came back into the store with a few questions & returned my cart. I came across the same gentlemen again & let me tell you, he would not give me the time & day to help me with my questions. I mean what's the point of handing me your card then? Should've had my wife come back in to ask those questions

    I had to drop off my Mac desktop at this location because it kept rebooting for some reason. I had an appointment for 11am. Well I'm here to tell you the appointments are for show and that's it. Once you get there and if they have a line, you have to wait in line point blank. No if's ands or buts about it. Seeing the technician: Well I had to wait for nearly 20 minutes before I got to see an Apple technician which there was only one. The great thing about it there were about 5 people ahead of me that didn't have anything Mac related. I spoke to him and told him what was going on and everything I already did from the Apple website to rectify the situation but no dice. So my warranty expired two months ago and I had to pay $40 for diagnostics. Ok, I can handle that. He told me he would call the next day but I ended up calling him. He told me he didn't find anything wrong at all and he said he would just wipe it clean and reinstall the system. I said that's a great idea, whatever is in there making it do that will go away. I did have 3 third party apps that I was using and got rid of two of them before I bought it over. That still didn't help. He wiped it the day we talked and I picked it up the next day. It was like a brand new Mac straight out of the box. I have everything back set up so I'm doing great now. I was depressed without my baby for 2 days though. Ughhh!! Total cost: The total cost I paid was $40. I was totally worried that I would spend close to $300 for repairs since it's a Mac. I almost gave them 4 stars due to the appointment thing. However I didn't spend anything but $40 so that's automatically an additional star!!

I brought in my large Mac to be wiped and get a new OS so I could sell it before an out-of-state move. At drop-off, the screen had a small corner crack. Pickup #1: The crack had grown to over half the screen. I asked how that happened. An employee told me they had to remove the screen to wipe it and install the new system. He said I'd need to leave it again for a screen replacement estimate. Pickup #2 (estimate ready): A different employee told me, "No, we don't have to remove the screen. We just wiped it." At home after Pickup #2: I tried to test the computer but couldn't get past the login screen. No one had given me a password. I called the store. A woman answered, offered no help over the phone, and just told me to drive back. Pickup #3: I drove back. The same employee from Pickup #1 finally told me the password was "Apple" lowercase. I reminded him what he said earlier about removing the screen. He changed his story and said, "Oh no, we didn't have to remove the screen, we just wiped it off." So the same person told me two completely different things about whether my screen was removed. Which one is true? Either way, the crack grew significantly while in your care, and now your own employee has contradicted himself. After that third pickup, the computer fell in my car. The whole screen cracked. When I returned, your staff offered nothing -- just "we can recycle it for you." You quoted over $250 for a screen replacement on top of the $150 I already paid. I am now out $150 with a broken Mac I cannot sell. Your own employee gave me conflicting stories, and your phone staff offered no help at all. Manager: read this. Your customers deserve straight answers and basic communication. I got neither.

My 3 year old laptop was running very slow and…read more I was thinking of just getting a new one but I stopped into HL and spoke with Henry and decided to swap out my hard drive for SSD and it made a world of difference. My computer is now much faster and running great. HL also sells PC's and laptops at a great price. I would highly recommend Henry and HL to anyone with a computer problem.

    This was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere dealing with a business offering any kind of…read moreservices. I had a disturbing experience with a hard drive recovery request involving important music project files here. The agreement was that I would pay $300 if three specific files were successfully recovered. When I came in to inspect them, the first two appeared corrupted/unusable. I asked to check the third file and said I would still pay the full $300 if even that one file worked. The technician Henry refused to let me verify the third file. While it was already loading/opening on my computer, he unplugged the hard drive. After that, when he connected it to his own computer, the drive stopped showing up. He also accused me of trying to copy the files by inspecting them, checked my computer, and refused to immediately return my original hard drive, saying he needed to "fix" it and delete the recovered folder before he can return it to me. I called the police, but they said it would need to be handled as a civil matter because of the contract. I'm sharing this so others can be informed. In my experience, I was not allowed to fully inspect the recovered files before payment, the drive stopped mounting after it was unplugged by him forcefully during inspection, and I was not able to leave with my original hard drive afterward and was told with a smirk that he will try his best to get it done as soon as possible. Avoid this place at all cost,
