We stopped here on our way to Dallas and followed yelp to this highway gem! The Swiss mushroom and grilled chicken sandwich was yummy and the onion rings had a lite batter and perfect crunch!!! Great food at a reasonable price, but the service is what makes them special. I left my wallet sitting on the table and did not realize it until the next morning. When I arrived two hours before they opened, I was greeted by the morning prep person who stopped what he was doing and made numerous phone calls to assist me. They had secured my wallet in the safe and returned it with all it's contents. All 29 $100 bills were right where I left them. read more

This is a positive review for Mid-American Grille. I love the food. The service is good and friendly. Salad is fresh, bread is hot and fresh. I'm sure this place will become one of your favorites just like it is one of ours. You never leave hungry. We go there at least a couple times a month, usually more often. I've never had a bad meal and I've tried just about everything on the menu. It is about a 25 mile trip for us but it is worth it. The people are very friendly and helpful. Took my sister and her family out to eat. My brother in law said it was the best steak that he's had in a restaurant. Everyone else really liked their food too. We had to wait for a little while because they dropped my brother in laws first steak, but it was worth it since he really enjoyed it. Oh and we also had the white chocolate brownie because my sister had never eaten it. She said it was really good. I highly recommend this place. They have big portions and you won't be disappointed. This is Pryor's little secret. I love going here instead of driving all the way to Tulsa for pasta and steaks. Their Strip and T-Bone steaks are 2 of my top 5 steaks ever. Get a side of fried shrimp and be sure to leave room for their white chocolate brownie. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice mid-afternoon place to eat for a date, when we happened upon the Mid-American Grill. We weren't sure what to expect. However, when we entered, we found a clean, well decorated establishment with friendly and helpful staff. He ordered a wine and said that it was a very tasty wine. As an appetizer, we had the Bistro chips, which we highly recommend. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. However, we will warn you if you ask for the dessert menu, be prepared to have dessert, because they bring out a tray of visual samples of their dessert menu that is quite literally irresistible. Food was ok salad was warm as well as the dressing the waitress brought the salad about two or three minutes before the meal wish I would've ate elsewhere. Brad E update the owner I think sent me a 20.00 gift certificate to try them again I did and everything was great the fried shrimp was delicious. This must be a great person that runs this place I wouldn't think one out of a hundred people would care about pleasing their customers to be so kind as to read my review and send a gift card. Stopped here on our way to New York from Texas. Probably your best bet if you're hungry in Pryor. I had the hickory burger and fried okra. Waitress was really nice and service was prompt. Not that it has anything to do with anything but she was quite giggly. They also has a decent draft beer selection. read more

We all ordered burgers. They were tiny. One of us got fries, it was a VERY small portion. One of us got sweet potato fries. Also a VERY small portion, and they were not warm, at all. They tasted and looked like they were cooked 3 hours prior to being served. The pasta (side) was fine, but you could tell that the sauce was straight out of a jar... Wonder if they make anything here. Overall, not the worst food in the world, but we walked out payign $23 for 2 adults and a kid and were still hungry. Very, very disappointing considering they are "#1 of 29 in Pryor." Doubtful of the validity of these reviews, really. read more

One of only a few good places to eat in the area. Locally owned and operated, this is a cosy family friendly experience. Great steaks and burgers, and the blackened salmon beats any I have had, ever. They recently started serving mixed drinks and have a very respectable beer collection. This is our go to eating out place for staying around town. read more

Always a pleasure to dine here with family & friends! It's been awhile since I've dined here due to some recent medical problems! First noticed new menus which usually means a price increase (yes but not excessive). Second was new salad bowls -- very pretty! Third was this cinnamon butter that was served with the butter -- not a fan & no one at my table cared for it either! Will try to remember to ask for regular butter in future! Also not a fan of your margarita glasses! They are too heavy & cumbersome -- would prefer regular glass! Otherwise food was great & so was the service! read more

Great food! I had a chicken sandwich with loaded mash potatoes as my side. The chicken was perfect. The seasoning was perfect. The toppings were fresh and crisp. The mash potatoes weren't from a box. I had 20oz Rib-eye steak. y wife he chicken-fried steak. I also had the grilled veggies and Alfredo pasta side. We also ordered the fried pickles. The steak was VERY good. It was tender, juicy, and seasoned very well. The seasoning was just a tad on the salty side but I am not a big salt person. The seasoned veggies were awesome. The pasta wasn't bad. The chicken fried steak was HUGE! It was hand done and good though. The most disappointing part was the fried pickles. They had way too much batter for the thin pickle slices. It over=powered the pickles. Service was good but not exceptional for the price/style of restaurant that it was though.It is kind of expensive, but the quality reflects the price. read more

Our waitress was rather rude and inattentive, she acted as if the small children we had with us were an annoyance to her. She also had to be reminded to bring silverware and forgot to bring a few items we had ordered. I had a steak and seasoned fries.. I went to the Grill for lunch and while I was watch my salad a baby roach crawled out of my salad bowl!!! It was absolutely disgusting!!! The manager who we told about it acted like it was something we should have expected, like it happens everyday.
