I walked in ten minutes to close and asked if the grill was still going. Not even a hesitation just a big smile and was seated. Prices are great. Service is great. Food was great. I had the Cajun pasta with shrimp and chicken. Comes with a salad and complimentary bread. For 12 bucks you can buy the kitchen around of beers. I had never seen that.

Fresh, hot bread with cinnamon butter

There wasn't but two other tables when I came but that didn't mean the people slacked off. I was seated and served quickly. First was a hot loaf of bread with cinnamon butter. I ordered grilled shrimp with grilled vegetables and sweet potato casserole. For once, the vegetables weren't cooked to death and had some bite to them. (Thank you!) Excellent service and good food at a decent price.

    A really Nicely Decorated Restaurant!

Reviewed December 27, 2018 No Health Score Available Very enjoyable lunch and very good service! It is clean, nicely decorated, pleasant restaurant/bar with very good service. The menu is comprised primarily of American/Bar food that will cover just about anyone's preference. The house salad, that you can order as a side is not just a few greens thrown in a bowl. It is a really nice little salad that can be garnished with their selection of the house made dressings. The French was very flavorful but, a little too sweet for my taste. The ranch dressing with the steak salad was great! The steak salad was loaded. It almost needed no added dressing. The chicken fried chicken is a large chicken breast pounded evenly thin, battered and fried perfectly. The French fries were fresh, house cut and seasoned. And all accompanied with great friendly service! Note: This review and photos were originally posted on Tripadvisor by Spike S.

    The Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup

I've passed this place numerous times but had not given it a try till Thursday evening. Wow have I been missing out! I will definitely return. I waltzed in the front door and was immediately greeted and seated I chose to sit in the bar area as I was not nearly as clean as the other guests. Heather had the misfortune of being my server this evening, she's pretty amazing by the way. She quickly assured me that she had a good supply of sweet tea and that she would keep my glass filled. The menu was loaded with all sorts of things that I am planning to try. I chose the Creamy Chicken Tortilla soup as a starter it was very good great flavor and consistency and just the right amount as to not cause the full filling. They also bring a warm mini loaf of bread with plenty of butter sure made this fat boy smile. Someone on the other side of the short wall at my back was going on about the onion rings so I ordered some as well OMG the absolute best that I've ever had. A doubled ring of onion sliced thick and battered in a nicely seasoned mix and fried golden crispy brown on the outside while maintaining the softness of the onion on the inside. I really should have stopped there. For my "dinner" like I really need any more but you only live once you may as well live well. I chose the Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta it did not disappoint not that I had any doubts at this point. I'm not a big fan of penne pasta but it was very doable with the creamy sauce of the dish. The serving was very generous the chicken and shrimp were both plentiful and cooked perfectly. No I didn't finish it yes I took it with me in a box certainly wasn't leaving it behind. I had a really enjoyable dinner the place was very clean, the ambiance and decor were definitely on point. The service top notch and the staff knowledgeable and efficient! Heather was a great server and somehow refrained from choking me although I'm sure I would have deserved it. These folks are definitely doing it right on every aspect. Y'all give them a try and ask for Heather.

Everything is chef inspired and house made, this food is extraordinary! Love the house made battered onion rings and the salad dressing.

You have to be liked by the community to survive that long! It is a clean comfortable restaurant on highway 69 south of Pryor Creek OK. Their success is possibly due to the mildly to unseasoned home style versions of Italian food. I think the food is mildly seasoned to satisfy the local Okie palates. Some folks just don't like anything spicer than cream gravy. The lack of Italian flavor was prominent. I couldn't detect a hint of garlic, basil, or oregano in in anything served. The meals started with two small simple salads. Fresh, crisp with decent dressing. They were served with fresh made bread sticks sloppily drowned in olive oil. I went with a Chicken Parmesan and a side of Fettuccine. The chicken breast was a large thin slab, with a light egg battered, pan fried. An unseasoned tomato sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese completed its transition to a Chicken Parmesan. Not a flavor tsunami, but a good portion of food. The fettuccine was fair. A little garlic would have helped to liven up both. My wife went with the Chicken Marsala. Very nice! It was also large chicken breast that had the black cross hatch branding from being grilled. It was covered in a delicious gravy with lots of fresh mushrooms. Her side was the spaghetti. Same bland tomato sauce as on my meal. The Marsala is a good 'ole Okie meat and gravy meal. Recommended! A side of mashed garlic potatoes would have made this perfect. Skip the Italian sides here and order fries! I don't think the food today was prepared by a "seasoned" Italian chef. A good liberal application of Italian spices is desperately needed. The locals probably wouldn't like it though? The authentic meat "balls" ; first item on the menu under "Entrees." Check the menu picture. Nothing could tipify a small town cafe better that that single menu item!
