The ultimate seafood/soul and Asian food carry out. They have a great variety of foods and desserts. You can also by pre-made cocktails to drink while dining in. However, they have a bar you can order cocktails. It is very clean and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Customer service is awful!! The cashiers can't read your name and then you spell it and they still can't find an order that's directly in front of them!! I waited 10 minutes for an order that apparently was already on the shelf The last time I ordered from here my dinner roll had mold on it!!! So this time I checked all the dinner rolls before submitting my payment but the cashier told me I needed to pay because she had a line, not my problem because when I arrived 10 minutes ago there wasn't a line and no one could find my order which was already on the shelf!! People typically order ahead to avoid waiting but understand things can get backed up for various reasons but not being able to communicate that effectively is the issue!!

This has become one of my favorite go-to spots whenever I'm in Laurel. Over the years, the restaurant has made several updates and improvements, which I appreciate. It's clear they're committed to evolving and enhancing the customer experience. The food is consistently delicious and offers great value for the price. On my recent visit, I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my sister enjoyed the fish with macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The space is spacious and efficiently managed. Overall, it's a reliable dining choice, and I look forward to returning.

I've been to Mid Atlantic plenty of times but never left a review. The parking lot was packed and there were no more spots left when I arrived. Once I got in, there were about 5 or more people in line but it moved pretty quickly and my food didn't take too long before it was ready. I ordered the crab stuffed salmon and bbq chicken. I would recommend both as they were super tasty. The portion sizes for the sides are HUGE so it's worth the money. A good amount of crab meat was in between the salmon all around good meals

Always a good time and good food at Mid Atlantic. This was my last visit of the year. Happy to stop in for food and cheer. Service is great as always. Good atmosphere as well.

I ordered oyster rockefeller. I only ordered 2 because I wanted to try it out first. Definitely wish I ordered more! The turkey wings were good. I do think they overload them with peppers and onion. The collard greens were AMAZING! So was the Mac and cheese. They give you really nice portions! Unless you want the long line wait I would suggest ordering for pick up.

A plethora of fresh food is always at your fingertips here! They have a long list of yummy foods to choose from along with some delicious seafood of course lol I also noticed a large and FULL bar for those happy hours that are needed now more so than ever lol I ordered a tuna sandwich on some kind of sweet roll that was yummy!! I also ordered fried whiting, fries and cabbage but received collards that were decent. Super cool vibe in Laurel to check out with pretty quick service!

My favorite neighborhood spot. When you don't want to cook but would like a balanced dinner, this is the perfect place and happy hour is pretty nice as well. This spot stays clean, it's spacious and service is great , the owner seems like a fan favorite. Sometimes service is a little slow but you receive everything hot and ready. Expect to be indecisive because the menu is massive but the taste is consistent. The best part!

I have been coming here for years. Food and service have been consistent for the past 10 years. When you enter to the left this where you order all of their fresh food. To the right is the bar. They have an extensive happy hour menu. I always get the meat loaf, ribs, wings or Mac and cheese. The parking lot can get packed in the evenings and definitely on the weekends.

    Jumbo shrimp. Not bad.

I literally happened upon this place, while getting gas across the street. I saw the parking lot was packed, and it was a Thursday afternoon, at 2:00 pm. I'm like, "this place MUST be awesome." it was. Totally AWESOME!! It's a true "Seafood" TAKE OUT primarily, or dine in. The majority of people did "take out." They only have "take out" containers, so... yeah. Staff, WONDERFUL. Everyone was accommodating, hospitable, attentive. No complaints at all. The overall design, efficient, practical, descriptive, minimalistic, conducive to the audience, process point, and location. I have nothing but accolades for this restaurant. I've given it five stars - . Bravo "Mid Atlantic Seafood. Bravo.

Passed by this place but wasn't sure how it was. We decided to give them a try. Upon entry, you can get in line to place your order or order through the kiosk near the front where you pick up your order. There weren't too many people ahead of us so the line moved quick. I ordered 1lb. Alaskan Snow Crab Legs with a side of Red Skin Potatoes and Corn. The sides don't come with the crab, it's an additional price. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The wait wasn't too long, but it was cold inside to me. I believe there's a bar area to the right of the entrance. My choice was delicious. I tasted Turkey Wings and they were delicious as well. Seasoned well.

The name "Soul Boat" definitely lured me in but instead I got canned greens and uncandid yams. I was beyond disappointed the moment I walked in but decided to give them a shot anyway because I was hungry. My wife and I ordered the following: Whiting Fish Platter, Shrimp Platter, along with fried Calamari. The platters come with two sides. The whiting platter I ordered I chose collard greens and candid yams. You can tell the greens came out the can. The amount of stems and blandness annoyed me from the first bit. The candid yams have nothing sweet about them. The fish was unseasoned can tasted like a filet that was just dumped in a deep fryer and pulled out. I threw most of this away outside of the fish. My wife ordered the shrimp platter with mac and cheese and greens. The shrimp are LARGE. Same problem with the greens. The Mac & Cheese just wasn't giving. I also ordered a side of Calamari. I took one bite and the trash that went as well. This didn't appear to be seasoned or cooked as well. The food here is awful. No clue how people eat here. Living off the soul name is ridiculous as mostly everything felt like it came out of a can. I'll never come back here and I'd advise you save your time and money. The only thing good about this place is the staff and the fancy bags your food comes in. I do not recommend.

My schedule was rearranged last minute on a Saturday so I decided to catch their brunch. The laurel location was the closest to me. I was able to reserve a spot at the bar on open table about an hour before arrival . It must have been a lucky day for me because there were plenty vacancies and I didn't need to make a reservation. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. I stuck to the mimosas and tried the different flavors. The pours were generous. Nnamdi was very attentive and I appreciate him answering all of my clarifying questions as it was my first time. Gratuity is included! I am excited to go back! Before leaving I ordered a cocktail (MisKiri IX) that wasn't included in the bottomless cocktails. It was good. She said"the kitchen" messed up packing my order but instead of sending it back, she "fixed it". Honestly it seemed like she was trying to get me my food on time, but management should have been called to solve this problem and ensure I didnt leave the restaurant with collard greens missing all their juices. I didnt know what exactly happened with tje packaging, so since I was told the problem was "fixed", I took my food and left. The worst part was the deviled egg appetizer. Another casualty of the kitchen, apparently. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.

I say that to say it is such a welcoming and fun environment that now knowing the establishment well I am not surprised I found my husband. The food is great! The people are welcoming and fun! It just feels like home. And if you enjoy a cocktail, this is the place for you. I am a supporter of black owned businesses and this is one of my favorites!

We arrived around 10p on a Saturday night during football preseason and 100000%, you can kiss the expectation of having a seat or table available to you, right away. Luckily for me and my party, we were around long enough that someo other table left and then, we were able to have our own space. Before that, I was literally bouncing in between the 1-tv that showed the football game that I was interested in and the corner of the pool table, where the entertainment/karaoke side is. On to the drinks, they were good! The bartender was a blessing to the evening. The food, we were not able to get as the kitchen was opened during the later hours - our party just didn't get our desired table space til later in the night when we were almost ready to go. Parking, I there are designated spots within the shopping center (of course occupied by other shops' parking), but I personally would park on the far opposing end of The Hideout & walk over with your crew. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I believe this was my first time coming & wouldn't mind coming again, indeed to try the food, but DEF. earlier in the evening.
