We love this place. They have a great variety of food to choose from. It's fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned. We've tried their vegetable platter, wings, various side dishes, and desserts (oreo creme and chocolate) and they've all been delicious. We also had their burger but for burgers, we recommend going elsewhere like Five Guys, etc. Overall, they have a lot of delicious options to choose from and it never disappoints. We stopped by for HH and the parking lot was full - which was a good sign. Once you come in you can order food on the right or head towards the bar to the right. We conveniently found a spot by the bar and were helped by some bartenders. The gin and tonic was not traditional - more like a mojito imo. We were able to order food at the bar as well. We started off with the Cajun mussels and crab quesadillas from the HH menu at the recommendation of the bartender. The crab quesadillas comes with lump crab and very flavorful - highly recommend. The Cajun mussels however fell flat- the mussels were over cooked so the texture was not desirable- avoid this (-1). Next we ordered the fish and chips (also from the HH menu) and this was good! It comes with two fillets and a side of fries. The fish batter was light and very moist. I would caution anyone who orders this to be careful of bones- we found a few. read more

If you are craving seafood, Mid-Atlantic Seafood is the place to go. We ordered a shrimp poboy, crabs cakes and calamari. For the sides we ordered corn and mac n cheese. The crabs cakes and corn were okay but the shrimp poboy and mac and cheese were delicious! If you are familiar with Bonefish Grill and their famous Bang Bang Shrimp, the sauce tastes very similar. I will definitely be back for that poboy sandwich! It was extremely busy when we went for dinner but everyone was socially distant so it was not an issue. Also, inside dining was closed. The food did take quite a bit of time to be prepared. This could be due to our large order and going on a Sunday night during dinner hours. read more

The food was very good and the portions were large! I especially liked the fried pork chops...they were big and seasoned just right. The macaroni and cheese was almost as good as homemade. I also liked the Brussel sprouts. They weren't overcooked. I tasted the fried whiting. It was bland...I don't think it was seasoned at all. The margarita was great! The place is bright and open. It didn't feel cramped at all. What I don't like is all of the noise. I don't like eating out of styrofoam containers. I was so excited to try out Mid-Atlantic Seafood after hearing tons of great reviews from friends and family. I ordered one of the seafood combos and my boyfriend ordered the stuffed flounder. The portions were very generous and the food was packed with flavor. We did have to wait quite a while for our food. Alonso immediately addressed it and asked for our order number to look into it. While we were enjoying our meal, we went out of his way to personally apologize for the wait and just went above and beyond to resolve the issue. The food was delicious and is reason enough to keep coming back, but the customer service was something that really stood out. I'm really upset at myself for unknowingly driving past all the Mid Atlantic Seafood restaurants surrounding me. This was my first time visiting the Laurel location, and the food is just as great as their other locations. I dined in and got a drink at their bar, and the bar just opened back up after being closed since pre-Covid times. They have a nice selection of drinks, and I chose to get the apple martini. It was a great mix, and the cranberry juice was a great addition to it. For my meal I ordered the fried rainbow trout dinner and got mac n cheese and collards as my two sides. I have no complaints! They need to work on the fried shrimp, it seems they use frozen shrimp with the thick crust. I suggest you fry the actual fresh shrimp. I was very disappointed. Saw the reviews on TikTok and a young lady had high reviews on the rum punch. So my sister and I decided to get one. The rum punch is giving summertime on the beach vibe. Very delicious on all ingredients. The place is giving a rustic industrial Americana a very clean and chic vibe. The clientele is very diverse and the music is good. My middle sister had the fried chicken wings she said they were good. My baby sister had the blackened red snapper and she said the food touched all taste buds. Four years later and this place is still great! Glad they have been able to stay open through COVID. As of now, they are still take out only. Some of my favorites are the fried oysters and scallops. The fried flounder, crab legs, fried & steamed shrimp, hush puppies, and sauteed mixed veggies were some of the stand-outs for me. All were plentiful portions, fresh, and seasoned really well. The owner even impressed us with his bartender skills and made us a few of his signature cocktails! The restaurant itself has a carry-out vibe, but cleaner, with a full service bar and much more spacious. When you enter, place your order by looking at the very abundant menu at the rear of the restaurant, have a seat, wait for your number to be called, then pick-up your food. Either dine-in or take-out. Just that simple. The cocktails are very reasonably priced as well. Just a real chill spot to get a reasonably priced seafood meal and drink. If seafood isn't your thing, (although I don't know why you would go to a seafood restaurant if it isn't) they also sell various other foods. Ribs, fried chicken, a variety of delicious sides, (try the sautéed veggies, they're delish) and desserts - to name a few. We were even graced with the presence of the owner, Brian! He was super personable and really took an interest in how we enjoyed our food, our likes and dislikes and what we would change. He even mentioned a few upcoming items coming down the road for the restaurant. Just a really great guy! I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff are friendly and very helpful with your selections and the portions of food that is given with your order can last for two full meals. You can eat in or carry out. Ahhhhh I am in love with this place!!! The seafood and service was so darn great!!! After speaking with the fabulous manager Brian, I learned a lot about this establishment! They like to source locally for several items they have. From alcohol choices to their food. I love that because Maryland has several things especially with seafood to offer. Alright so they carry 12oz crab legs rather than the standard 10oz we are all use to. I truly had no idea it was a difference but there really is. Their 12pz crab legs were filled with meat and you are able to crack one piece and the meat comes out whole!! It was so AMAZING! The shrimp, amazing! The Mac and cheese, AMAZING! The greens, Amazing! The Brussels sprouts, Amazing! The lo mein isn't my favorite but was delicious. The mahi mahi tacos were great but I wish they weren't breaded. The green beans were delicious!
