Our last stop. Best way to end the day. I'm fairly all 5 of us were at capacity by the time we made it here. I was for sure at my breaking point. We were greeted by a super cheery Channing. I think we were her last group for the day. There was an awesome set up at the table right outside. Being here felt like home. We had such an amazing time. So much so that I think everyone re-upped on their wine. One of us was definitely lit lit and ended up with a whole case. This will for sure be my first stop the next time we do another wine day.

Love it here! Such a fantastic winery tucked away in the hills of Paso Robles. The wines are perfect and the hillside views are spectacular!

This was our first trip after the name change & we are so glad we came. The wine was still superb & Blake gave us every reason to stay as winery members. He even stayed late to accommodate us & share all of his knowledge. MidPoint did a fantastic job of paying homage to the Rotta history. It was so fun to hear the stories behind the new wines, the graphics on the bottles, & it just made us love the winery more. We are already planning our trip back.

Had an amazing time at Mid.Point Winery. Isabelle and Blake were so accommodating and knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. Isabelle led us through our wine tasting and I loved how it felt like a story-time; this part really sets it apart from other wineries I've been too. The grounds are beautiful and the plans to expand will bring in so many people. We sat outside and enjoyed the view, the heaters, and the lawn area for our pets and children. Can't wait to come back and sip on my favorite central coast whites!! 11/10!

We had SUCH a good time here. Did a walk-in on Sunday afternoon. Easily accommodated since we sat outside. Tasting room attendants were always available and very personable and knowledgeable about the wines and area - even through there were quite a few parties spread around the place. Decent wines with an unusual options (Carbonic? that's a first!) $20 fee so we split a tasting don't forget to tip!

Dog friendly tasting room (here is a list of other dog friendly wineries in the area http://www.travelpaso.com/content/dog-friendly-activities) & $10 for 9 wine tastings. Down the street from AronHill Vineyards (which has a restaurant in case you need something more than wine, crackers and cheese as you do a winery crawl. By the way, Rotta winery does not provide complementary crackers during the tasting but there is a menu you can order from that has different types of cheeses, meats and crackers, olives). My husband and I came by with our little dog this past Sunday evening. We arrived around 4 pm. We came in and were acknowledged by an employee behind the counter. For the wine tasting, I somewhat like the Rose wine. I liked the light and fruity flavor of this wine but I didn't like it enough to want to buy a bottle on my own (please note that I am still new to the wine world). Although I did not like the Ecliptic wine, I did think the bottle logo was pretty cool and appropriate for the name of this wine. Of the wines we tried, I truly loved the Zinfandel Port and Black Monukka. Both of these wines are dessert wines and just have a delicious sweet finish that is perfect for ending a meal. You can swirl the Zinfandel Port but not the Black Monukka because of the brandy that is in it (and would ruin the flavor). That Black Monukka had some incredible caramel notes that was truly fabulous. Although the first employee helping us with our tasting was friendly, I did get this odd vibe around her, along with the second employee who helped us later on. For the first employee (Caucasian female), she had told me that Cambria is predominately Caucasian. When I asked her if there was another ethnicity, she said there are Mexicans and that they pick the grapes (I am just tell you what was told to me, please do not assume these are my own personal views. Especially being a minority, it would just be wrong to think this way. I am not taking these words out of context). She also mentioned that they do live in Cambria but in a different part because this part of Cambria is very expensive to live in. I was taken back by what she said but didn't really say anything so that it would not be awkward. She also did mention that there really is no diversity in Cambria. Eventually this employee had to leave to handle other matters in the winery. So this other employee (also Caucasian female) took care of patrons in the tasting room. She was friendly as well but my husband just got this vibe that she had the same view as the other employee. My husband wanted to buy 1 bottle of Zinfandel Port and the Black Monukka but for some reason, this second employee never brought it out for us to buy. My husband asked her twice but she never did. My husband was very frustrated and decided to leave. He didn't understand why she either had forgotten or ignored the request (especially since we have money to buy). Which is unfortunately because I really wanted to take home a bottle. Although I can order through their website on line, I would still have to pay for additional shipping (which is kind of expensive). I truly wanted to like this winery, but based on our experience (racism, yep I went there. Don't send me hate mail because you disagree with me. This winery was not the only one that seemed prejudice during our short vacation out in this area), I cannot award this winery a higher rating above 2 stars.

What a fabulous place. This was our first stop and our host was very delightful. He gave us the history and took us to a nice spot on the lawn...we had bocce ball and corn hole to play. Beautiful inside and bathroom was clean. Grenache Blanc was amazing! Nice quiet place on Booker Road. Can't wait to come back!

Rotta also has a charging station.

We took my sister and brother-in-law, who have been to dozens of wineries world-wide, for a tasting on 11/14/21. They both felt Rotta, and our host Brian, provided an unsurpassed experience. The setting (and weather) was beautiful

I liked all five wines on the tasting menu, including the rosé, which is new for me because I don't usually love rosés. I ended up getting another glass of the Barbera after we finished the tasting. I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.

The grounds are gorgeous, the sculptures throughout the property are genuinely impressive, and the music and scene were a great backdrop. The wine itself seemed perfectly decent. But the website says reservations are recommended, not required, so we figured we'd try anyway. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we weren't wanted. The hostess hustled us into a side room, then walked off, at which point a server immediately told me -- not pleasantly -- that I was standing in the wrong place. When I asked about a few wines I was interested in, I was met with a clear lack of interest, capped off by being rudely told to just get a glass of muscat, like the suggestion was as much about getting rid of me as it was a recommendation.
