I am a firm believer that a mechanic shop is as good as their leaders and crew. This can definitely said about this shop. John and Karrah are the two that helped me with my exhaust issue. I went to Midas for an oil change and experienced some of the best service I've ever had from an auto repair shop. Here's why: - First of all, the Service Manager John Lott put forth top notch customer service. I called ahead of time for an estimate and was happy to hear that what he quoted me over the phone was exactly what I would be charged in store. And when I got there, he let me know about an online 10-dollar off coupon! - John estimated a 30-minute wait until my car would be serviced and explained that the full service would take about an hour. They were 30-minutes ahead of schedule! I will definitely come back for future auto services! read more

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my car in for a loud noise in the front of the car. They called to tell me the problem was a bend in the muffler pipe that needed replaced.I ok'ed .They replaced the pipe portion. $200 later, the noise is still there, and the pipe they replaced was at the BACK of the car. They totally took me for $200 because they told me the pipe would take care of the noise so i gave permission. They wanted to make it right by giving me a discount on my next work with them.Can you believe they actually think I would return to there shop.I even went through the Quality Assurence Department they post. This was a rip -off nothing else. And by the way, the manager will out right lie.Dont trust them read more

I had a worst service experience ever. They claimed they did service to my rear wheel but literally they did not even removed the tire. How can he claim he did clean the rare breaks. I dont see any change before and after. I ill not step to Midas again. read more

Go no place else for your service needs. Not only does Midas do a whole lot more than mufflers these days (tires, oil changes, tranny flushes, Uber and Lyft inspections etc.) They do it with the best staff I have EVER had the pleasure of having service my car. I recently took my 2002 F150 in for a brake job, quoted with tax $1200+ for all new brakes and pads, rotors ect. The rears had a lot of rust on the rotors and they said they should be replaced. I had the front wheels done only for the tune of $685, decided to wait for the rear wheel until a latter date. Quoted 130 per rotor for the rear. I decide to check eBay for rotors and pads. What a surprise, about $200 dollars for all four rotors and pads with free shipping. I paid $190 for one front wheel rotor at Midas, this did not include the PAD. So I brought rear wheel rotors and pads for $57.00 with free shipping and had them install my eBay parts. Heres the kicker, their labor rate is higher if they install your parts, since they make no money in selling their very over priced parts. Rotors at Midas for the 4 wheels would have been $640 without pads. I still saved over $250 dollars bring in my own parts. Labor rate is not posted. Next time I'll find a shop with the labor rate posted and the savings should be much more. read more

I had to take back both of my cars 3 times because the problems kept coming back. Alignment, break pad replacement, and bearing replacement work were deplorable. They never got them right so I took the cars to other auto shop and they were surprised at the lack of work quality. As simple as oil change was done wrong - they forgot to put oil in the engine. I made an appointment for a simple oil change at this Midas Issaquah location. I got an appointment for the next week. I went there at the scheduled time promptly. The Manager blatantly said he is too busy and that he had an urgent car that some one dropped from out of town for repair and he refused to take my car in. I told i had an appointment and that i had waited for a complete week for my turn. He still insisted he can't do the oil change which really only takes 10-15 minutes.. I was totally pissed and will never again go this location. Absolutely horrible experience! read more

I have never posted a review before on Yelp, but I felt compelled after my experience coming to Midas and having John help me out. Back in October of 2017, my car signaled that one of my tires was losing air, and I brought it to Midas and John examined the car, found a nail (I believe), and removed it - all for free. I was blown away. He also was so upbeat, friendly, and helpful, that when I next needed an oil change, I immediately thought of returning to Midas and having John help me. Today he again helped me out by checking why my "Service Engine Soon" light came on...he figured out the minor problem and saved my sanity. I am not at all shocked that so many people have had exceptional customer service with John; he is a class act, and Midas is extremely lucky to have such an ethical, helpful, and talented employee. Exhaust pipe cracked and was making a horrible noise. Regular repair place that I frequent couldn't see me for several days. Midas took me in immediately - and fixed the problem in only a couple of hours as well as advising me on a few other issues which I was aware of but appreciated the confirmation. What a horrible experience! Came in for oil change. Had to come back in 2 hours after I made an appointment. After dropping off the car and waiting 2 hours, I received phone call from the manager that they cannot do an oil change since the pan is broken. He said I had to go back to the place I had done the last oil. But they took off the oil change sticker from my windshield and through it away - not to be found anywhere. The shop manager Bruce did not even seem to care. He did not even tell me what really was done to the car. Only after asking he said he put some oil into the car since it was not completely filled up to the top. He later told me that the technician remembered the sticker said that another Midas shop did the last oil change, but he cannot remember which one. WHAT? Now, I have no idea what to do. Left me alone in the rain and did not even show empathy or any sign of anticipation. Now, what should I do? I will never go back to such a shop. I had to explain to my kid what a third-world-country is, because this is what I experience today in that shop. So, no Midas for me anymore. One start in this review is not doing my experience justice. 0 stars, period! read more

Rip off. First time I brought in my PT for repair, when I picked up my car there was a loud noise coming from the fan that wasn't there when I first dropped off the car. The original repair was not for my fan. When I brought the car back, they diagnosed it as having a piece of paper stuck in the fan housing. They could not explain how it could have gotten there. I asked them to save the paper they found so I could check on it but, when I arrived to pick up my car, the paper had mysteriously disappeared. Foolish me, I brought my car in a second time a year later for a squeal. I was called later in the day saying the noise was coming from my exhaust manifold. When I questioned this, I was told the manifold had a crack but, the squeal was actually coming from the alternator. Since I had just replaced the manifold 18 months earlier, I reluctantly agreed to have the manifold replaced but, told them I wanted the broken manifold saved so, I could pick it up and bring it back to the shop that had originally replaced it. Once again, when I when in to pickup my car after the repair, the manifold was gone! I was told it had mistakenly gone out with the scrap metal recycle (that day!). AND the squeal is back. Don't bring in your car for this shop to repair. You've been warned - read more
