I brought my recently purchased new car to this Big O Tire for an oil change and tire rotation. While I was there, the person at the front desk told me my front brakes were "completely shredded" and that I shouldn't even drive the car. He repeatedly pressured me to purchase new brakes that same day. I explained that this didn't make sense since I had just bought the vehicle. When I contacted the dealership, they called Big O directly. Over the phone, Big O told them a completely different story -- that the brakes still had plenty of life and there was no urgency to replace them. I had an extremely frustrating and unsafe experience at Big O Tires in Issaquah about a year ago. I came in with a puncture on my front right tire. They replaced it with the same brand and size, but somehow failed to notice that all four of my tires were all-season, non-run-flats. Instead, they installed a summer run-flat tire on the front. I noticed immediately after leaving and returned within 5 minutes. They admitted the mistake and ordered the "correct" tire -- only to then install one with a much higher speed rating than the rest of the tires. My original tires were H-rated, and they put on a W-rated tire. I was explicitly told this was "fine as long as it's a higher speed rating." It was not fine. Over time, my car began pulling left more and more aggressively. It turns out that mixing speed ratings on the front axle of a FWD car can cause severe torque steer -- exactly what I experienced. This is not just a comfort issue; it's a safety issue. Their advice and installation choices put me and my family at risk. To summarize: They installed the wrong type of tire. They corrected it with another wrong tire. They gave dangerously incorrect advice. They failed twice on something as basic as matching tires. This experience showed a serious lack of attention to detail and understanding of tire safety. I would not trust this location with anything that affects vehicle handling or safety. read more

Thought I'd visit Big O Tires, Issaquah, for a tire replacement. After inspection, I was SHOCKED to learn they couldn't replace one but all fours due to the vehicle's AWD setup. I then went to Costco for a second opinion. Spoke with the manager, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and was told they could replace the damaged tire but they didn't carry that tire per specification and said to check with Discount Tire. I went to D.T. and met with one of the staff. Not an issue to replace the one but had to order it for next day delivery. Ordered. I was really hoping to support a local business (Big O Tires) in the Issaquah neighborhood, but unfortunately this experience didn't earn my business. read more

Buyer beware here. They will try to upsell on services that aren't needed and tell you your tire is unrepairable, when that is not true. I had a screw in my tire that was about an inch and a half from the sidewall, which is considered to be in the repairable area of the tire. Easy to look up on Discount Tire's site. Instead of the appropriate repair (patch plug), Big O offered to sell me a new set of tires, an alignment and ADAS reset for $2k instead of the $50 repair. The tire repair wasn't urgent as the air wasn't leaking but Big O is close to home so I figured I would try there first. After the experience above, I went to Discount Tire (although about 15 min away), and got it patch plugged at no cost since I originally bought my tires there. Discount did mention my tires were getting close to the wear bars and I asked them about an alignment. Discount said neither were necessary at this time and that the tire wear on my front tires for my vehicle (the reason Big O wanted to sell me an alignment) is very normal at 36k miles on the tires and for my vehicle. After some research on my own, I confirmed this wear is normal for my vehicle based on the staggered setup, vehicle weight/characteristics and 36k on the tires. Big O didn't seem to take any of those factors in to consideration before writing up their $2k estimate. Big O's quote for the tires was also over $100 more than that of Discount Tire's for the same tires. I will Definitely not be giving Big O any of my business as I do not find them trustworthy. If you intend to use them, consider getting a second opinion on any work they recommend before agreeing to any of it. read more

I went in to replace my 2 front tires (shame on me for not rotating on schedule) Rich tried to insist that I MUST buy all 4 new tires or I'd wreck my 4Runner's transmission. He didn't ask if I drove it in 4-wheel drive all the time. I don't. I use 4-wheel drive when it snows...which in Sammamish is a couple days every other year or so. I used the services of Big O yesterday and wanted to be sure to post my experience. I was in an unfortunate circumstance while out running errands editing a store with a pretty flat tire. After filling it with air realizing that it needed immediate attention. Being a Saturday I wasn't optimistic and called around to see what my options were. Big O estimated a 2hour wait time so I figured it was worth a try. They were actually able to squeeze me in within 30 minutes. While the news wasn't positive, I had some decisions to make on replacement. I appreciated Alex being patient with me since this was completely unplanned. He showed me my tires and the situation. I've used Costco tire in the past and they wont be as accommodating and patient so this was a welcome change to that experience. I was able to make a decision and get my alignment and two new tires in a timely manner. Staff was so friendly too! Highly recommend! read more

Unfortunately, bought all terrain tires here in January with alignment, wheel weights, mount and balance, and a warranty amounting to about $1500. My rear tires are now worn after 6 months of usage. My front tires are entirely intact. I've been told this is an alignment issue. I've moved away and will now have to purchase all new tires. Edit: After learning how bad my rear alignment was I've changed the review to 1 star. I've never been more disappointed in a tire company and will never use Big O again. The tire was going to cost $220 but after we checked out the worker named Alex Barrera did not inform us that he put a tire protection plan on the tire we replaced. I had to call after looking at the invoice to see what the protection plan came with because he FAILED to mention that he put that additional protection plan on the tire purchase. My wife and I are HIGHLY upset. And when I called he did not care that he didn't explain this to my wife and I when we were paying for the tire. DO NOT COME HERE or give them your service. read more

This was my first experience with Big O Tires. I gotta say I was more than satisfied with my experience. I'm usually pretty nervous about trying new auto shops but the staff here really eased my concerns. I was having a bunch of front end suspensions issues and previous auto shops I've been to kept replacing my driver side outer tie rod. This certainly helped but didn't fix problem completely . It wasn't till I went to Big O Tires when I found out I had more than just that issue going on. After the inspection to see the severity, the team worked with me on pricing and was very accommodating to what issues were the biggest priority. My vehicle (07' SUV) now runs as good as it did when I first purchased it. I don't usually post reviews. I have a lowered sports car with very low profile tires and I am always extremely cautious of letting anyone else work on it. I brought in a new set of Volk gloss white wheels to put on my car and I was going crazy worrying that they would get scratched/marred/damaged during the install. In my experience, watching tire mounting is a lot like watching sausage get made. Especially when your wheels are expensive. But these guys totally nailed it. Absolutely no damage on any of the wheels and they were super careful driving it onto and off of their lift. Not a scratch on my front lip, and they torqued everything to spec in the correct pattern. Very impressed. Even got to talk with Jermaine about Evos and it's clear they are car people here. read more

I'll give them a nod for being quick once service started, after a nominal wait of some 40 minutes. For a flat repair, it only took 5-10 minutes to remove the offending tire, examine under soapy wash, reinflate, do other tinkering in the distance, and reattach to car. So fast it was that I wonder if there was any repair needed at all besides a simple reinflation! They did say there was some corrosion on the valve stem and hence they replaced that. Will have to take them at their word though as they didn't ask if I wanted to save old parts, though it indicates "No" (perhaps by default) on the customer invoice. For my troubles... $50 including tax. I couldn't help but to wonder if I could've gotten the same service done free or cheaper at another business whose name starts with Les and ends with Schwab. Meanwhile, I overheard another worker bemoaning about a customer on the phone. Seems that he wants to be sure he gets paid for his labor--which is fair, certainly, but does set their business apart from the competition who DOES offer free checks and services, say for goodwill, and focuses more on customer satisfaction. Big O Tires will do if you're in a pinch, but they would only be my second or third choice. read more

I came in with an emergency flat tire having never been to this store before. As it turns out, I had a screw in the tire that had become dislodged. It was in an unrepairable area even though the tires are only 6 months old. So I needed a new tire. Savannah was very friendly and helpful. They did not have the tire in stock but were able to order it and get it in a few hours. Once it arrived they got it put on right away. Another tire shop wanted me to wait 2 weeks for an appointment to get in. Big O was busy but they fit me in anyway. Swindlers!!! My daughter, who is 18, went in and had her tires replaced. They charged way too much and then on top of that told her that she was in the red, in need of new brakes. I didn't know if I could trust them so we sent her to the dealership for Kia and they said that the earliest that she needs to look at new brakes was spring of next year. They told me it was too close to the wall and that they were not going to be able to repair it and that I needed to buy a set of new tires due to it being an AWD and quoted $1900! I asked them to throw the spare on and I took it to Les Schwab and they fixed it free of charge. The customer service of employees at this store needs significant improvement. The front desk clerk was extremely rude and impatient with me as I was deciding on my purchase. The clerk was a white Caucasian male in his 50s, he was pressuring me the entire time and at one point was insinuating that I was wasting his time. I took my vehicle in to replace a tire from a puncture. The employee stated that I had to purchase two tires and cannot replace only one. I was okay with it except they didn't have two tires of the same model. I asked if I can just purchased the one that they had (which was an extra since they didn't have a matching set). My wife was having some car issues so she took it in, where they proceeded to scare her into thinking there were multiple things wrong, that her car wasn't safe to drive, even saying that "it's going to be expensive to fix". This felt extremely fishy and so we got the car back and turns out the battery just needed to be replaced, have not had an issue since. They tried to scare and take advantage of a solo woman. I discovered a nail in my tire this morning. We don't have a Discount Tire or Les Schwab in Issaquah, so I did an online search and decided to give Big O a shot. I made an appointment online for 10:30 a.m. and showed up to a busy shop a little past 9 a.m. since I was already on my way to work when I discovered the issue. Fully expecting to be there for a while, I settled in with my laptop using their guest wifi (which worked great, btw). I was very surprised when my car was ready 30 minutes later. ***SHADY BUSINESS, AVOID*** I finally put things together as to why I felt like these people were messing with my car and the fact that they didn't complete my service to the full extent. These people are absolute morons! I'm assuming Big O brought back their "C" team during covid and no one including the managers care or are knowledgeable enough to complete the job to satisfaction. They have this new system that is a digital inspection of the health of your vehicle. But they can't go into detail, (including how bad a leak is) because they just don't know. All in all, if you go in don't ask questions, keep your head down and pay whatever your bill is, there would probably be no problems. God forbid you ask these people anything about products or the work they're doing on your car. Might as well take your business else where. Such a sad sack group of people. But at least after reading these reviews and after my own experience, it makes sense. And you can tell they're angry on the inside I'm assuming because they're grown men who didn't get very far professionally, hence them working at a big O, but at least have some pride in your work! This place is extremely overpriced. They charged me $600 to switch out my tires with an alignment. Other places have charged $100-300 previously. Even the Toyota dealership was half the price. I'd go elsewhere as they will charge you insane amounts for their services. read more

man, this is kind of hard to write....but I definitely feel like it needs to be said so I can hopefully save someone else. I had a puncture in my tire, luckily my husband was able to change my tire before coming to this shop. When we got there we were greeted right away by someone name Andy. He told us it would be about an hour and a half wait... we told him that was long to long... he suggested to take a look at our tire and said he could give us an idea of what they could do for us...so we said okay. after about 20-30 min he said that we would have to replace all 4 times... when he gave us a quote it came out to be 1k. I told him that sounded VERY expensive and that I have never spent more then 600-800 on my tires... so again, i said i'd go to firestone... he then offered to call firestone for me to see what they're prices were.. I should have known to call myself, but trusted him and let him call... after he got off the phone he said that the prices were comparable to theirs. ranging from 150-215 a tire. he then offered the lowest grade tire to us for around the same price (650) but I wanted a medium grade tire so I agreed to the (911) after all the service fees. once I got home, I had a weird feeling about everything so I decided to call firestone myself to get a price on how much tires would have cost... they told me 665 for medium grade tires... I debated calling big o to complain... but honestly, it's my fault for letting them call for me and not doing the work myself... so, i'm left to pour all my wrong choices on yelp to try and help another poor soul who might fall victim to this fraud.
