    People have a right to know David! If you are not Military or Prior Service then Expect to pay the 90+ dollars. I only received a $20 discount by mistake! This owner put on a Masterclass of what not to do! Ignorantly engaging with a customer let alone a dissatisfied customer and their complaint. Instead of apologizing on behalf of Midas for my poor experience, he proceeded to Virtue signal. Gaslight. Name call. (Keyboard Warrior??!!! Are you for real?!!!) To anyone still reading this; That is the owners response. Imagine my surprise and disappointment. Shameful! Absolutely Disrespectful. Blatant Disregard of a customers long standing history as a customer. I'm disgusted and infuriated at his abusive gaslighting attempts to discredit me. David! Your scare tactics don't intimidate me the slightest. Your business is being accused by ME of being scam artists. Because you are! Check the receipts cuz I ain't got nothing to hide. Your company policies, under the guise of protecting yourself from liability lawsuits (force) customers to buy an expensive and unnecessary product. It's buy overpriced oil or the door. Save your lecture professor and run the slides. I got receipts. Next time win the hearts and minds by de-escalating the situation instead of fueling and compounding the crisis. Upon careful research & investigating in order to "educate myself" here's what I found. Not that I needed it. People also ask What type of oil does a 2015 Hyundai Sonata take? I even apologized to the employee behind the counter because I too have worked in retail and sales and understood how things are beyond his control. As a Combat Vet and War Fighter with lasting health effects; My understanding of myself is that I possess a very high level of subject matter expertise, in a variety of areas, across a wide range of disciplines. When that is called into question; don't think for a second that you are off the hook. I will not hesitate to challenge my accuser. Thanks for the kick rocks, didn't need it, but I get the hint.     Has anyone ever paid $25 per gallon for gas? Part 2 THANK YOU * THANK YOU * THANK YOU!!! On Thursday, I received a call from Midas/David letting me know that after an review/audit of the University Avenue locations previous weeks receipts, I had been overcharged by the cashier. The cashier had misread the gas receipt given to him and the money would be refunded to my credit card. He let me know in his text that "This is NOT our practice...". He also included a copy of a response from my Nextdoor post which he included in his text to me). My past experiences would agree with his statement. Living in this great City of San Diego we value our vehicles to get from here to there expeditiously, so I sadly paid. I love feeling good from my experiences in this wonderful life we have all been given. I am happy and grateful for the heartfelt support, insight, and referrals from MY NEIGHBORS IN THE NEXTDOOR COMMUNITY and ecstatic that as of 2/24/24 Midas has refunded $100 of the $125 paid for the 5 gallons of gas! Life lesson's learned from this experience: 1. Trust but verify - I could have texted the person I had been interacting with at Midas for clarification. Unfortunately, he was not onsite at the time I picked up my vehicle. 2. Fact vs Truth - Fact I was overcharged. Truth is, I have been repaid. It never set right with me when journalist/media print facts, yet they rarely circle back around with the truth of the matter or the actual outcome. And so, the stain/sting remains, no bueno! 3. Use MY POWER wisely - All that has offended me, I forgive. Within and without, I forgive. Things past, things present, things future, I forgive. I forgive everything and everybody who can possibly need forgiveness of the past or present. I forgive positively everyone. I AM FREE and they ARE FREE, too! All things are cleared up between us NOW and FOREVER! AMEN! Appreciation Appreciates! You can be RIGHT or you can be in RELATIONSHIP! Forget the mistakes, remember the lessons! I choose to be part of the solution! I choose to Do Something! Everyone Matters! My Money Matters!

    Really nice guys. Didn't try to up sell me on anything. In and out in 45 minutes for oil change and airfilter and cabin filter change.

    Yes, this was an expensive repair but it was absolutely no fault of Allman Family Auto. The issue…read morestems from Chrysler's Pentastar cylinder heads, which are a known problem. I always do my research, and unfortunately my assessment turned out to be correct even before Allman completed their diagnostics. Mike at Allman spent a great deal of time walking me through different scenarios and options, providing detailed estimates for each. I also requested additional estimates, including a full engine replacement, so I could make a fully informed decision. While their estimate was less than dealership service departments, it was slightly higher than another independent shop. After researching the difference, I found it came down to Allman using OEM parts rather than cheaper aftermarket parts made overseas. I don't use cheap parts on my vehicles, so that made the decision easy. Once I felt fully comfortable, I chose Allman and I'm glad I did. Mike kept me informed throughout the process, and my Jeep was back on the road even earlier than estimated. Thank you, Allman Family Auto, for the honesty, transparency, and quality work.

After I raised concerns about what I believed was a misdiagnosis and being overcharged for repairs that did not fix the original issue with my vehicle, I reached out to the shop directly to address the situation. To their credit, once I called them out and explained the ongoing problem, they agreed to take another look at my car. Upon re-evaluation, they acknowledged that the initial repair did not resolve the root issue. They worked on the vehicle again and ultimately fixed the original problem at no additional charge. I appreciate that they took responsibility and made the effort to correct the situation. While my initial experience was frustrating and felt misleading, I do recognize their willingness to make things right after the fact. I hope moving forward they improve their diagnostic process to prevent similar issues for other customers. Updating my review to reflect both the initial experience and the resolution.
