My tire went flat it's was raining hard I called Midas and I noticed they were closing but the receptionist Stephanie told me to still come & they would Waite for me Once I got there the owner Greg offered me and my fiancé coffee & water. While waiting for my tire to be replaced Greg then engaged in a conversation with me and my fiancé we talked about cars , coffee, tea , the virus, his beautifully designed store etc he made us feel very comfortable Greg was genuine something that's hard to find these days everyone there was friendly and showed hospitality There was hand sanitizer a tv and a mini refrigerator with cold water inside also a comfy couch if you have a long Waite. This Midas is a franchise and my experience with the weekend staff was very unpleasant. The owners son is the manager at this location on the weekends and in my opinion needs Management training from Midas Corp. The entire weekend staff have a implicit bias and arrogance that leaves clients returning their cars because of incomplete services and even walking out because they don't honor online coupons i.e. Midas $100 off brake job coupon reduces a $380 break job bill to $320 and when the issue is confronted the manager insists that's the discount and with a argumentative demeanor throws the car keys on the table, storms out and shouts "Look I don't understand what you're complaining about you're either going to do it or not!" I have been coming here for years and staff is always super friendly. They always greet you with a big smile! The best thing about Midas is they always tell you what your car NEEDS FIXING & WHAT CAN WAIT. So that means more $$ im saving. They give a courtesy check every-time I bring the car. I called in to schedule an appointment for an oil change .over the phone , i gave them the year and the model of the car and they quoted 69.95$ for the service which is as advertised in their website and the store for the fully synthetic oil , when i went the drop the car next day the price went up to 139$ even more then the Audi dealer charges When i asked why did the price doubled his explanation was because it was an Audi , takes more oil etc. they new it was an audi when i called over the phone And how much oil it would take They try to take advantage of the people Not very ethical way to do business take your hard earn money somewhere else where they don't try to take advantage of you read more

Stopped in to this Midas on Saturday, 11/10/18. I had a pretty large screw in my tire and I was in a bit of a rush so just figured I would be dropping the car off and coming back later. I told the manager, Oscar, the issue and he told me to sit tight a few minutes. To my pleasant surprise, when he came back (probably 5 minutes, no more than 10 minutes later), he said they had removed the screw, patched it, and put air in all my tires. This is the worst experience ever, This people make up numbers depending of the person, do not care for others peoples vehicles and valuables; leaving the cars overnight outside in a high-crime area , they run the cars outside the premises, and their guarantee is so bad that if you car fails once you take it outside they will charge you all over again. I moved to Miami last year (by myself) and have had a lot of issues with the used car I bought; this team has gone WAY above and beyond to support me with all my problems; not only did they patch several tires for me for free after I got nail after nail, but they have supported me in learning proper maintenance rules and basic car things that I didn't know. Do not take your car here. I came here for an oil change with a courtesy inspection and they told me something was wrong with my axel that would cost over $400 in repairs. I went to my trusted mechanic to get a quote on the same part and found out that the part Midas mentioned wasn't the part in question. What that means is, if I didn't have a good mechanic I would have paid all that money to have a part fixed that didn't need fixing. Total rip off. read more

UPDATE: I received the same email other reviewers who posted negative reviews received from Midas. They responded that they would open a "ticket" and a customer service representative would get back to me. My tire popped on the way to work, so I came in because of the great reviews. Brian, Oscar and the rest of the team were accommodating and awesome! The service is simply awful. I went on a Saturday afternoon. The guy at the desk was rude and was acting as he was doing me a favor. I had a nail in my tire took it to another place in just a few minutes they had it ready minus the attitude. Never going back to that Midas again. read more
