I had a frustrating experience at the Midas on 90th Street in Scottsdale, though I want to acknowledge that they ultimately made things right. I brought my Ram Promaster 2500 in for a routine oil change and was also sold a serpentine belt and two new tires. They moved my existing rear tires to the front as part of the service. When I picked up the vehicle, the steering wheel had a noticeable shake that was not present before. In addition, an engine compartment cap had been left sitting on my windshield, which immediately raised concerns about the quality of the work and attention to detail. I returned a few days later to report the shaking. After inspecting the tires, they discovered a large bubble in one of them that had been missed during the initial service. This was a significant safety issue that could have resulted in a blowout. Additional tires were replaced to correct the problem. About a week later, I noticed damage that was not present before the service: a bent roof rack and a dent in the roof. Based on the location and nature of the damage, it appeared the van may have been lifted too high and contacted an overhead beam. When I first reported the damage, the response from the front desk was dismissive, and responsibility was not immediately accepted. However, after reviewing their footage, they later acknowledged the issue. The most frustrating part of the experience was the amount of time and effort required on my end. I had to make multiple return visits and follow up repeatedly. I felt that I was the one driving the resolution rather than the business taking initiative, however after talking to the front desk, they stated it was taking so long to get back to me because they were waiting to here back from corporate about how to proceed. To Midas's credit, they eventually worked with me to reach a fair resolution and compensated me for the amount it would cost to repair the damage independently. I appreciate that they ultimately took responsibility and made me whole financially. While I am satisfied with the final outcome, the series of mistakes, missed safety issues, and vehicle damage made this an experience I would not want to repeat. I do believe that they learned from their mistakes and will be less likely make the same mistakes in the future. read more

I couldn't just drop off my suv so I had to wait during my appointment and I was treated with respect by all employees and each one that came in contact with me was very respectful and had a smile on their face. They talked with me and made me feel comfortable, spoke with me about my vehicle and as a woman didn't make me feel out of place or that I had no knowledge at all of cars (I do have a little from being around mechanics most of my life) regardless I didn't feel like I was being pressured into getting anything else done that didn't actually need fixed or what I was actually scheduled to have done that day. At the same time they did let me know of something that would need attention in the near future and I will be going back there to get it fixed. Last week I took my car in to get three of my window regulators fixed. It was my first time at this location. Lisa greeted me with a smile and was absolutely amazing!!!! She was professional, knowledgeable, super welcoming and honest about the work I had to get done. My car was done quick and efficiently, when I got it back it looked clean and had exactly what I needed fixed. I am beyond happy with my experience here, and that's saying a lot coming from me. This was my first time coming to Midas and I traveled to a further location for a Groupon to get my brakes fixed. The second I waked in I was greeted by Alex, who was friendly and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. He explained in a way I could perfectly understand was very clear. The store manager, Lisa M, was nothing short of amazing. I am very appreciative of Greg Milan, the new owner of Midas. I had my A/C serviced at a Midas while on vacation. It was fine until I came back to AZ. I went to the Midas in Scottsdale, hoping they would warranty the work done in CA. They spent a good amount of time on my car. They drained the freon, checked for leaks and put the freon back. They thought too much freon was added, causing my problem. They didn't charge me anything for all of the time they spent on my vehicle, and were very professional and courteous. I bought a groupon coupon for 2 synthetic oil changes. The first one I used was perfect in every way. However, I went to make an appt for my second car and all of a sudden, no one answered the phone so I left messages. I called 4 times and left 4 messages for a callback on 3 different days. No communication at all. I called groupon and they told me that they got in touch with the shop and they would call me in the next two days. Nothing, so I got a refund. I've unfortunately dealt with two flat tires in the past two weeks, and each time the entire team went above and beyond to help. They repaired my tire quickly, kept me informed throughout the process, and had my vehicle safely back on the road in no time. I wanted to add this addendum to the previous experience I had with Midas as a result of a one star rating by another customer about brake & rotor service. I have previously had new brakes installed by Midas and was delighted that Midas showed me the front brake rotors that NEEDED resurfacing - badly!!! He has warned me about automotive places trying to upsell on everything so he told me what to expect. The service at this location is great! Lisa is always great when I take my car to Midas. They do a wonderful job and go above and beyond by letting me know when things are going to be needed to be replaced! I've called even asking for advice on an issue with my car (I smelt burning plastic, which as the machanick stated was probably a bag stuck to something under my car, which he was correct) and they are always more than willing to help!! I am writing this review to express my disappointment of damage to a wheel cover that the business failed to report during my visit. They did a brake job and split the wheel cover in half. Most disappointing was the fact that they put the destroyed wheel cover behind the passenger seat and let me leave without telling me. (I will follow up by saying that the business did pay for a replacement wheel cover. Thank you for doing that.) read more

I went to a dealership and they told me I needed brakes, they also gave me an outrageous price. I went over to Midas and the manager Lisa was very helpful and informed me that after the inspection I would not even need new brakes. Where two previous alignment shops failed, Greg's guys didn't. If you have a lowered, modified, or otherwise difficult to align vehicle, this specific Midas is your ticket. It takes a lot to get me to log into Yelp these days but this shop deserves it. This place is absolutely amazing. I need to replace my rotors and brake pads but it was a bit too expensive for me. The shop manager worked with me and got the repairs to a price I could afford and I am extremely pleased with the work that was done. Absolutely the best muffler shop that I can recommend. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and nice. They will get you in and out in a very reasonable and quick time and the prices are great.
