Some context regarding my dilemma: I had just built a PC which was working flawlessly. I was able…read moreto play my intended game perfectly fine with no issues. Then, while gaming, my game crashed and the computer stopped responding, prompting me to force shutdown the computer. Post crash, the game was underperforming. I tried everything software-related, from verifying the integrity of the game files to clean reinstalling Windows (three separate times, mind you), but to no avail. At this point,  I'm thinking it must be hardware related, hence why I took it to the repair shop. I explained my situation to the repair shop and they took it from there. After some time, they contacted me saying that the both the graphics card and SSD (due to being at "65% health") are responsible for the horrendous performance. I went ahead and replaced said components, only to be greeted with the same horrible performance post-crash. So, I called the repair shop and they responded by saying I only "partially followed" their advice as they recommended I get a RTX 5070 instead of the RX 9070 I originally had; their argument was that the RTX 5070 is the superior card of the two and didn't have as many driver issues as AMD cards. According to them, had I gotten an RTX 5070, the PC would have been running perfectly fine like its former self. But that didn't make any sense as the PC was running fine with an RX 9070 before the crash. When I brought this point up, they started talking about how there could be problems with PCIE bifurcation, something that didn't make sense at all in explaining my horrible performance.  I decided to take it to another repair shop. The repair guy over there suspected it was the motherboard. I replaced the motherboard and lo and behold, the PC was running perfectly fine, WITH the RX 9070 card that Quick Teks claimed should have been switched out for an RTX 5070 due to "PCIE bifurcation issues." I later called Quick Teks about this and they were still adamant about the situation, stating that they had mentioned PCIE bifurcation being a potential problem in their diagnosis (which isn't true as they mentioned the PCIE issues AFTER I replaced the parts and called them about the PC still having horrible performance; never was it mentioned in their diagnosis). To top it all off, Quick Teks abruptly hung up on me and sent me a text saying, "Thank you for your business. But i'm well aware of what was wrong, and what was stated previously." Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable service.

This place is the worst T-Mobile store in the area, perhaps in Oakland County! They have no stock,…read morethe store has no heat in the winter time (there are space heaters everywhere), management is nowhere to be found. Its run by teenagers, that have no clue what they are doing. During my time there, I did not see 1 customer walk in happy and leave happy. Everyone that came in upset due to the stores mistakes, left the store just as upset! As for my experience, not only did this store add lines to my account without telling and increase my bill by over $120, but they then processed to argue with me that I was in the wrong. They added 2 phones lines and an internet line, WHICH I NEVER ASKED FOR! I had to spend in total around 4 hours at this store this week, just to get my bill & services reverted back to original. I contacted corporate and they were able to provide me with credits due to the incompetency of the staff at this place. I will NEVER return back to this location nor recommend anyone do business at this establishment. Go to the location on Orchard Lake, save your money, and just make the drive that way.

We all had recently updated/new phones so we weren't in need of any upgrades, however, they assured us if we got the newest model we would not be charged since we were merged over. We called and went to their location several times and nothing was resolved because our bill is still not was agreed on. Ashley was the one who set our account up and she still hasn't fixed this issue for us. I'm super upset with the act and false promises we were given. Please don't trust this location.
