I was craving an Asiago bagel and immediately remembered that Middleton Espresso Café had some of the best bagels around! We used to frequent this place when we first moved to Middleton because our kitchen wasn't set up yet, so this became our go-to spot for coffee and breakfast. I love that they have a drive-thru! Hailey helped me during this visit and was super kind and helpful. I ordered "The French Silk," which was the special of the day. She made sure I received the special pricing, saving me a few dollars--and I always appreciate that! It was also delicious. My Asiago bagel came out warm rather than hot, although I probably should have specified that I wanted it extra hot. I still enjoyed it served warm. Another great experience! Everyone at the drive-thru was kind, friendly, and helpful. All smiles and efficient service that created a welcoming atmosphere! I'll return soon! read more

Finally got to check out this cute little coffee shop near our house. The have a drive thru and some inside seating. We came on sunday after church and they were consistently busy, but super friendly and attentive. There isn't a ton of seating, but if you get a table, it's a nice place to hang out. Everything we got was really yummy, including the cinnamon roll and scone. We are so happy to have this place nearby and can't wait to go back. They have daily speciality drinks and looking forward to going back to try them. read more

I love the coffee, but there is always a blonde girl that works there and every time she sees me she looks down one me. She doesn't try to have a conversation EVERYTIME would you like to leave a tip a I say yes and only tip one dollar she hands me my stuff back and closes the window no thank you or anything. The males are really nice though. My wife and her friends have all had the same experience with her. She's really nice to middle age soccer moms that look like they have a lot of money but if you're not blonde and rich she's just rude. I would go every day if I didn't feel like I wanted to be judged just for not having blonde hair. Sorry but it's the truth. I hate the way I feel if she takes more order. also I have tried to have a conversation and thought she was just having a bad day but she quickly is so nice to other customers? I don't know why. I adore Middleton Espresso! I always feel at home when I visit because of the warm and truly wonderful treatment I receive. The baristas take the time to ensure that each drink is just the way you want it, and they are always cheerful. They obviously care about their clients and the experience they're providing. Although the costs are typical for a coffee shop, the quality and ambience make the experience well worth the money. The store itself is delightful, with warm décor that makes it a perfect spot to unwind and sip on a drink. Red Bull spritzers are one of my favorite things about Middleton Espresso! These are quite difficult to locate in the Caldwell region, but they have them covered here. Red Bull spritzers were a common sight in my hometown, so it's wonderful to have a small reminder of that here. Middleton Espresso is a must-go-to if you're searching for a location with welcoming staff, charming atmosphere, and something special like a Red Bull spritzer! read more

Always service with a smile. I use drive thru primarily and they always handle a line quickly. I haven't tried a coffee here I didn't love.

The "scones" aren't scones they are stale crumbly biscuits that have a weird flavor not triple berry at all it's off putting. The staff are fine. They love to have personal conversations like your not there which is kinda awkward but could be worse I guess. read more

We've visited this little drive through espresso shop several times when in Middleton. They are reasonably priced and pretty quickly make your drink. Friendly service, they have lots of specialty drinks. If you tell them what you like and ask for a recommendation they are sure to have something for everyone. Conveniently located around the corner from Ridley's, so if you need a great donut from Ridley's then come grab coffee around the corner! Cute little in town espresso stop. We walked in and I'm glad we did. It was hot outside and we were able to cool off cause it was hot outside and this little stop was busy! Coffee was made to our liking and I enjoyed looking around at the hand made local items. Friendly staff and nice customers too. Being from Seattle I really have a strong appreciation for these small business and support them any chance I get. No Starbucks for us if we can help it. read more

I love them because they are locally owned, consistently good products, and they have a drive through. I get frustrated with them because of one morning server who, bless his heart, is slower than mud going uphill in January both physically and otherwise. He always gives me the wrong drink, incorrect change, and if I ask a complicated question like how much is a breakfast burrito, he said, "I'm not good at math." I always manage to get him. If there were another place locally, I would honestly go there to avoid him. They are just as expensive as SB and DB but without the service, speed, and my white coffee. As a local option, I'm grateful for them. As the only option, settling is what you get. read more

Because this coffee shop is too far off the beaten path and too far away from the highway it's inconvenient for me. But we were glad to find it out here in the middle of nowhere it seems. Middleton haha. Be very specific with your drink order and it should turn out just right.
