Yum!!!!!!! I am pretty picky with cookies and these are really good!!! They are very big and a really good texture. You can heat them up but I actually thought it was good as is! Cinnabon: good! Has a cream in the middle! Oreo: good!!! Great texture. Double chocolate: taste like a brownie Chocolate chip: my favorite!!!! So good I would highly recommend getting some of these. They are massive. I ate them for three days and thought they were good the whole time. I guess they are gluten free? I am not sure. I like full fat desserts and thought these were insanely good. Did not notice anything missing. read more

Yes, yes, and yes! These cookies are so dense and moist, and the flavors are wonderfully delicious! I had a pumpkin white chocolate, chocolate chip, and blueberry (still have an apple cinnamon in the freezer). It's an actual store unlike some specialty treat places that only take online orders, so stop by in Reston and treat your tastebuds! read more

A hidden gem. Really needs more exposure, its that good. I decided to go out on a ride and needed an excuse. Kinda felt like a good chocolate chip cookie so I google around and see there's some place I never heard of in Plaza America. Okay, its a good ride away, perfect. I went to the wrong bakery place at first. (Midnightreats is not in the shopping center. Its in the office building area near Melting Pot). When I found it, I went in, bought my cookies and went home. Honestly, I've had the big cookies like this from other places like Crumbl and Crumbl wasn't all that good. I took a bite into these and wow, It was so good. I felt kinda bad dismissing them. Both Crumble and Midnight''s cookies look delicious but Crumbl's cookie is kinda dry, Midnightreat cookies are moist and so yummy. It's not even close. If you're in the area and in the mood for some dessert, give these cookies a try. I'm glad I found them today and I'll be back. read more

Pretty decent cookies, we enjoyed them, they are a bit too sweet for us, but I will say that we enjoyed them because they were truly fresh and warm-also staff there was super nice and service was top notch. I would def come back to try new flavors if I'm in the Reston area again read more

Had an evening hankering for something sweet & ordered the 4 pack monster cookies for delivery. First, I'm a chocolate lover... but I would skip the brownie cookie next time. The cinnamon roll & apple cookies were MUCH better. They were delicious in fact. Took quite awhile to get our express order, but it was worth the wait for an occasional off the beaten path treat. Love that they contribute to good causes. When I ordered (through UberEats), I didn't even notice they were Vegan. EVEN BETTER! Will definitely recommend & try them again (although I'll probably skip delivery as it made for stupidly expensive cookies). Would have taken a pic, but we ate them too quickly! read more

This place is so good and a local chain! The service is amazing. The staff is very patient when trying to decide what to get. I think there should be more marketing for where this is located. It's not visible from the street and at the end of the shopping center that looks closed. It also doesn't help that Crumbl is on the main shopping strip. I think everyone should try these cookies. They're delicious and reheatable. read more

Cookies are almost like a cake. Very tasty and a good variety. I like the option to go out and get a dessert that is not ice cream late at night and this is a nice spot. They are a bit over priced, but the day old was are sold at a discount that are not a bad bang for your buck. Don't know how long this place will be around, but it's nice to try once before it inevitably dissapears. read more

From the outside you're not sure what the restaurant is like but what's cool is it's like an art space for bakers! Different shops have a little area just for them to cook or bake! And Midnightreats didn't let me down one bit! The fact that all the cookies are vegan makes it even better. The cookies are huge! Like gigantic! Think size of a donut or bagel! As I was walking to the store I saw a man on the way to the parking lot with a cookie box open stuffing his face with a big smile. I am not going to lie that increased my expectations. The cookies are vegan and i don't think most people would notice a different if someone handed the cookies to you without mentioning it. I have eaten and baked too many cookies so I could taste a slight difference, which I think comes from the coconut oil. My favorite cookie was the double chocolate one, I love a very rich cookie and this one is definitely rich. The chocolate chip one was also great. The cinna-roll smells super delicious and the dough had a very nice cinnamon flavor, but I think I prefer cookies that have mix ins. read more

I ordered a 4 pack of monster cookies for delivery. I have seen this shop a few times on Postmates and have wanted to give it a try but was disappointed that there wasn't a huge flavor selection, but decided to try it anyways. I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon roll cookie as it had good flavor, was cooked perfect and I liked the icing on it. I also ordered two birthday bash cookies which were a little less exciting. Still very sweet and pretty with the multicolored sprinkles but something about it just didn't hit the spot. This could've been user error but on the box it says you can leave the cookies at room temp or put in the fridge and reheat up to a few days after but it really does not taste the same even 24-48 hours after. My cookies dried out quickly and even with reheating were still not the best. Maybe next time I will come into the physical store and see if they have more flavors and also opt. to buy an individual cookie instead of a four pack so I don't have to leave any out overnight. read more

Such a delicious treat! My husband brought home for cookies for a Friday treat. In reality these cookies lasted all weekend because they are large. He got the cinnamon roll, funfetti, thic mint, and cookies and cream. Like other Yelpers have mentioned, their cookies are large but they are not lacking in flavor. The cinnamon roll is tasted just like Cinnabon (definitely recommend warming up the cookie). All of the cookies are packed with flavor and filled with toppings. Update: I've been there once more since this review and I'm headed back now because I've suddenly remembered I have access to these cookies. I told you, it's a problem. I met a couple of other employees and they were just as nice. The cashier did this cute little dance and clap number when I rang up my order. The people that work there really want to be there. I also went pretty late and there were people still coming in and out. I'm glad to see this small business is thriving. It's important to support them! I feel bad to give it only 3 stars, as I feel this is an excellent place for anyone who loves large vegan cookies. But for myself personally, having ordered a pack of 4 (little expensive- $18 for 4)- chocolate chip, cinnamon, cookies and cream, and chocolate fudge chocolate chip. It was just way too much for me. Cloyingly sweet, overload. A symbol of modern day indulgence and excess. At one point you just want it all to stop. Nothing wrong with places like this, just not for me. Makes me ponder: "Cookie is not a food. It's unnecessary, and this cookie was not that enjoyable for me." But the good news for my teeth is- I may never eat a cookie again. Then again, I may become insane and come back again. You never know. read more

Yummy cookies, we were in the neighborhood this morning and this place caught me husbands eye. We opted for one chocolate brownie cookie, which was warm and really chocolatey, my two daughters quickly made easy work of their half cookies, I had a try too, it was gooey and delicious. I've drive by this place everyday and all I knew is that they have big cookies. LOL.. I'm not much on deserts, but every now and then I can go for a cookie or four. Le t me say eating one of these cookies is like eating a 6 regular cooks. They were soft, fresh, and delicious. I called my self being a "Big Boy" so I purchased a box of 4. Little did I know, two would be my limit. I had to share the other to with 4 people. I know what you're thinking, but I'm not greedy. It was just that good.. The staff is way cool, we talked for a bit while I cracked jokes and decided which ones I wanted. If you love cookies, check them out for a quick treat. My boyfriend and I always send each other vegan desserts on IG (we're dairy free) and I finally decided to place an order for his birthday! Midnightreats was amazing in their responses on IG helping me place my order and even allowing me to swap cookie choices. I ordered a 4pack that has chocolate chip, cookies & cream, cinnamon roll and mint and the order came in perfect time (1 day before his bday). We cut the cookies & cream in half and I swear we bit into heaven! It's still so soft and moist but a little crispy outside and it's heavenly! We also cut the cinnamon roll one in half and put it in the toaster oven for 6 minutes and the center was so gooey and warm and melted in your mouth while the outside was crispy...do yourself a favor and order these! read more

We tried Midnight Treats for the first time today, and got the classic choco chip and the chocoholic! Their cookies are hefty and well worth the hype! Delicious, fresh, and massive...it is impossible to tell these are dairy free (especially the chocoholic). The classic chocolate chip did taste a little more 'vegan' but still delish. This place is tucked away in an office park, and right next door to River Sea Chocolate Factory...which makes for an amazing combo of scents wafting through the lobby. Pick up was quick and easy. Cookies were $5 ea ($1 more than Levain). Wish they offered more spontaneous pickup options for those last minute cravings (we had to order about an hour in advance), but totally get that they are a small business and working to accommodate both pick up and shipping order. So glad to have this in the area! read more

Soooo goood! Ooohhy gooey goodness. Even when you have to bake it in the oven when you get home, still comes out delicious. I tried the chocolate chip, cookies and cream and golden oreo. All of them were delish, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. The size is also pretty big. Le Vain bakery style big! Crumbl is nearby but this place is better though the reason for the 4 star vs 5 star review is the hours. Who opens at noon? People are looking for cookies all the time. Crumbl open at 0800 so if you are craving cookies before noon you can find an alternative. If you can wait and not have a crying child wanting cookies then come here cause it's so much better and priced right. read more

First of all I still can't believe this shop is opened until midnight on the weekends but it is. It's a great place to satisfy those late night cravings on a Friday or Saturday night. I absolutely fell in love with their classic Chocolate Chip cookie. It is hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. My husband loved the Cinnamon Bun cookie and the Strawberry Shortbread cookie. I ordered the Chocolate Mint cookie and the Oatmeal Raisin (way too dry in my opinion). I can't wait to return and try some of the other flavors but the Classic will always be my preference. Be aware this is a cashless shop, We wanted to tip the workers but there was no tip jar. Tips have to be put on your card when checking out. The employees were very friendly and was able to give a description of each cookie featured. I've purchased cookies from their competitor but Midnighttreats gets my vote. read more

You want a scrumptious treat like no other place has? Midnight treats has it! This is by far the best cookie I have had yet. It's got the right density and sweetness. They put crumbl to shame. These cookies are jumbo and delicious. The box also has instructions for reheating or storing for a few days if you plan on eating a small portion of it. I don't care what some people say, vegan cookies do not hit the same. The cookies were not awful but they weren't good. You can definitely tell a cookie that was made with butter and eggs versus one that wasn't. They also have a weird system where they don't really sell cookies from their shop it's just a pick up for online orders. Not sure why all the hype for this place. read more

Tried this cookie place for dessert tonight and it was everything I was hoping for. THICKEST COOKIES I'VE EVER HAD! My boyfriend and I shared two and it was more than enough (and that's coming from a couple that'll finish a box of Oreos in one sitting.) The owner recommended the cinnamon roll cookie and that was my favorite of the two although the cookies n cream flavor was super delicious as well. We were told by the owner that they would taste just as fresh if we put them in the oven for just a few minutes when we got home and the result cookies are pictured in this post. Be prepared to spend a little because each is $5 but one $5 cookie is enough to satisfy the sweet tooth! read more

WARNING - ADDICTION LIKELY...If you're a cookie lover, get ready for the best cookie you've ever had. My boyfriend is always on the lookout for the best Chocolate Chip cookie. We try them where ever we go all over the US. Brought him home a box last night and told him only to take a bite because we were going to dinner. He couldn't control himself, ate the entire cookie. Said it rates in his TOP 2. Which is saying a lot. I really like the Snickerdoodle! The fact that they are Vegan, has nothing to do with the taste and quality of these cookies. Finally! A place that serves amazing cookies in the DMV area. Flavors are awesome, the cookies are massive, and they are 10 times better than your everyday Insomnia or Crumble Cookies. These cookies are phenomenal! The size and texture remind me of the famous NY Levain cookies. I especially love their Cinna-Roll cookie, which tastes just like a cinnamon roll but with a cookie twist. You can order online through their website and/or DoorDash, which makes it super convenient.
