Customer Review Angelo's Auto Sales/Service I brought my…read moredisabled sisters 2005 Dodge Dakota ST purchased at Angelo's Auto & Car Sales for front left brake line service on 06/23/2025. Angelo also indicated other work needed to be done including cv axles, sway bar links, and front brakes. I left the vehicle with Angelo assuming indicated work would be completed in a timely professional manner. Angelo stated that since the metal brake lines on the vehicle were not available he had to make them in his shop. I obtained all other indicated service parts for the vehicle within a week and brought them to Angelo. Angelo stated he would begin work on the vehicle ASAP. Upon multiple follow up calls Angelo indicated that the truck was on the lift and would not come off until repairs were completed (which obviously was a complete fabrication). After 6 + weeks passed Angelo stated that he did not have correct fitting's needed for the brake line repair. This statement I thought was completely absurd and even other professional mechanics agreed in discussion with them. Within several days I obtained various fittings needed at a local parts store (as a back up) for the required brake line repair and also obtained original OEM vehicle specific brake lines which included all appropriate connections to complete the repair. Immediately after repair several return visits were required to replace multiple stripped lug nuts and studs damaged by his shop. On last service visit front tires needed to be removed to repair stripped wheel studs. I previously arranged a flat fee with Angelo to change the oil/filter (labor only) and rotate the tires front to back. Angelo decided to charge a separate fee to rotate the tires (to my disabled sister owner of the vehicle when she went in for service that day) even though she spent $70.00 + on lug nuts/studs damaged by his repair shop. Apparently it is the customers responsibility to replace parts damaged by his shop. In addition, after most recent service visit there is another stripped wheel lug damaged at his shop which needs to be repaired along with a broken hood release latch (not able to open hood for engine compartment service).

I just went on and for local vehicles I had 16 to choose from. They have all the good cars in Charlotte, Atlanta, Texas, etc. It seems like lately you have to get everything delivered because nothing good is on site, or maybe that's what they say so they can charge delivery fees, I don't know. The people that work there are nice, especially Sherry, she always takes great care of me, but as far as getting anything decent, good luck! They hardly ever prep the cars and they usually smell like cigarettes and are all dented and have extensive damage, at least that's been my experience over the last 13 months.

I am currently in a dispute with Flexcar over two reimbursements: the first for a rental I had to get from another agency when a Flexcar rental broke down due to an oil pan crack that spread from vibration on a long road trip and another for the $704 monthly rental fee billed to me nearly a month after the car was TOWED to their facility. In regards to the breakdown from the oil pan crack, I had taken the vehicle into their facility due to oil leaking in the driveway. I was told the vehicle wasn't leaking oil, that the cap on top of the reservoir wasn't sealed correctly and oil was "blowing out the top when the car heated up" which as a girl with a father who is a Mechanic is a load of BS. I then mentioned a upcoming road trip from Tennessee to Georgia as part of an ongoing move and said my concern was that I would be stranded as a woman alone if the car broke down along the way in a rural area. I again was assured this would be fine. Sure enough, the car went into EPC mode and stopped 15 miles outside of any city. With the help of good Samaritans, I was able to get the car to a mechanic who informed me the car was not drivable. Upon calling Flexcar, they said they initially offered NO assistance and also said "we do not tow more than 150 miles." It wasn't until I was balling on the phone and became irate at the fact I was stranded 3 hours away from home by myself that they offered a $50 Lyft credit and said they would tow the car back to their facility. Ultimately, it was the Mechanic at the location - not Flexcar - who helped me in my search for rental car, which I had to uber 30 minutes to, drive 30 minutes back and transfer all of my suitcases/boxes before heading home. After fighting with Flexcar, they agreed to reimburse the rental which I have now been going back and forth with them on for WEEKS with no payment. In regards to the $704 monthly rental, I received a notice 5 days prior to the draft from my account that my rental would be renewing on the 15th. I immediately reached out stating this vehicle was TOWED to them weeks prior and closed. I was told this would be taken care of and I would not be charged, but low and behold, I was charged. I've now been sending multiple emails a day and calling Flexcar who have yet to make this right. Do not seek services from this company, and definitely do not provide them access to any of your banking/credit accounts. I wish I wouldn't have.

He was very friendly and offered a test drive. Having never bought a new car, I was hesitant. I thought I'd have to fill out a bunch of paperwork but I didn't. I jumped in the car, pulled it around and all I had to do was let him make a copy of my driver's license. We drove it a little down the road to get a feel for it and decided to go inside. I wanted to "run the numbers" to see where I stood with an interest rate/payment. I had planned to get my loan from a bank, not the dealer. It turns out my credit score was higher than I thought and I could get a payment we could afford. Throughout the whole process, Matt was easy going and friendly. There was no pushy sales speak or tactics at all. This is what I feared about going to any dealership. I can't speak for every single salesman at Bertera Nissan, but Matt was great. We ended up buying a 2013 Nissan Versa SV in "Brilliant Silver". It was a great experience and completely painless. I got what I wanted at a price I could afford. Edit: Whatever you do, read everything you sign. If you do not want an extended warranty, make sure it isn't in the loan. Bertera uses First Automotive by SouthwestRe for extended warranty. If you do agree but change your mind, you have 30 days. Do your research before agreeing to it. I was naive, it was not Bertera's fault. Lesson learned, warranty removed.

Since I don't trust anybody when it comes to mechanics last night I went out and took a Sharpie and made marks on all the bolts that would have to be removed to take the air intake off the mass air flow sensor off to get to the fill plug. After checking out and telling me my car was all set and paying $400 I opened my hood when I got out to the parking lot and noticed that every single Bowl lined up with the marks I made. I then went in and questioned how he filled my transmission if none of the bolts were removed. He then admitted that he never actually changed my fluid. So the mechanic lied to me told me how much fluid it took when I asked him and yet then finally admitted to the fact when I called him out that he never actually did the job I saw my car up on the lift but he never actually changed it. Do yourself a favor and never ever go to Herb Chambers Hyundai. Do not buy a car from them do not go there for service they are Crooks and they try to rob me a $400 that they had to then pay me back said it was a mistake a miscommunication and I could come back and they would give me a discount. I will say he followed through about staying on top of those concerns to get them resolved before a road trip for me last minute. I do appreciate that. However, I was given a $4000+ estimate for rear brakes, 2 CV axles, a serpentine belt, a coolant tube, a power steering tube, and a change out of those corresponding fluids. They wanted to sell me a roughly $300 CV axle from a genuine Acura parts website, for $900, plus another few hundred for the install. They are marking up parts 200%. I decided to just have my transmission fluid drained and filled, and my oil changed. I drove an hour and a half home to find my transmission was an entire quart low, and my engine oil was overfilled. Upon calling to find out what happened, Jeff had the audacity to ask me if I knew how to check the fluids. This is not my first Honda product, and of course I referenced the manual which told me exactly how to check it. I asked how his technician checked it, and he responded, our technicians don't read the manuals on how to check fluids, they do it how they're taught. Also that the technician who did the work has been there a long time. Well it was done wrong. The fluid level was clearly not checked after. Not sure if my transmission has suffered any damage from this accident. As for the overfilled engine oil, he said they added a pint size amount of cleaner to the engine oil that they never told me about, and that I did not approve. I have lost complete faith in this dealerships service department. Avoid if you can. Picture is transmission fluid level after following manual on how to check it. Barely on the dipstick. Acura of Auburn, you need to retrain your technician on how to perform a simple dipstick transmission fluid check.
