Second, when I finally got a hold of Toya on the phone, she told me she would email me a referral to a specialist but of course, I never got the email. No such referral was uploaded in my patient portal either. She really does not follow-up with her patients and does not do her job properly. Now I have to make a new appointment at a different clinic and start the process again because I do not trust the providers at Midwest Express Clinic. However, in those 2 hour she had time to sit on her phone with someone and complain about other patients and about a man she is seeing, whom she thinks is seeing someone else, but she's still going to see him, but she is not sleeping in the bed with him. I do not appreciate the fact that she had time to talk but she could not complete the duties of her job. I do not appreciate my time being wasted, especially since I live over 45 minutes away. I would appreciate it if management could review employee phone privileges during work hours, as excessive personal use appears to be interfering with essential job responsibilities.

He's a cardiac patient and susceptible to pneumonia but before I could ask, she ordered a chest ex-ray. Because of the ex-ray, he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and prescribed steroids and antibiotics. I value how thorough she was and how she listened to our concerns and symptoms, which enabled her to diagnose him accurately. From start to finish we were there two hours versus many more hours in the ER. Ver happy with the friendly staff and service we received from ERICA D. Thank you!!

My diagnosis was upper respiratory infection aka common cold. The cure is just to wait it out. I did however get a prescription for an oral anesthetic which helped relieve the annoying sore throat pain. The prescription was conveniently transmitted electronically to the adjoining CVS. The nurse practitioner did a quick test to rule out strep throat. I also conveniently got a seasonal flu shot. Their services are limited. But it was quick and convenient to have someone look at my throat.
