Only found out I owed money when I was contacted by a collection agency. Initially, I received an invoice via email, but the service treatment was incorrect and I was billed for treatment I did not receive. Wellnow was going to resubmit invoice to my insurance company. I thought this was done since I didn't hear anything until I received a call from collections. I spoke with WellNow on multiple occasions and even have written record of these conversations, but when I call back, I'm told they have no record of these conversations. I questioned the opening message when you call that states the call is recorded. The rep was silent to that. The rep told me he would send an appeal to insurance company but a month later and still not done. The rep had no record of a call regarding this. I was told I had to do myself with the insurance company. To top it off, with the original incorrect invoice, WellNow tried to apply the fee without my consent from my HSA account but it was declined. When I questioned them, their response was I'm responsible for the bill. Don't go here!! Since June I've had nothing but trouble with WellNow and still having trouble. I sent an email to the Norridge location regarding these issues and no response.

I have been there on two separate occasions, I found the nurses, and nurse practitioners to be accommodating but the protocols are unacceptable. I left a message at the location, I was seen at to arrange a call back I was under the impression that I would receive a call after the provider finished with the next patient. When I didn't hear back, I called the telephone number listed on Google. You speak with a robot by the name of Amelia who asks a series of questions to send you to the right location. I was referred to an incorrect location multiple times it was a Saturday and I knew I was running out of time if I was going to reach someone. I told the girl no matter how many times I dialed I was consistently referred to the wrong location. She said she couldn't help me. I said do I drive there to get someone to talk to me and she said that was an alternative. So I drove there, at which time the young lady at the reception desk didn't seem particularly interested in my problem. She accused me of yelling when in fact, I was simply angry and I told her I'm not yelling. I'm just angry at which time I began whispering. I am an 81 year -old stroke patient who has to use a walker. She told me to sit down. She was rude, condescending, and not the least bit interested in making me feel better. She was defensive and responsible for involving someone else sitting in the reception area in our conversation. A five-year-old child would have known enough to not have the conversation in an open reception area. I asked to speak to the building supervisor at which time she put me on the phone in the reception area with the supervisor. Once again, everyone in the reception area heard what was going on. The receptionist humiliated me, and exacerbated a sensitive situation . I would never put myself or a family member in that situation ever again. This is a caution to anyone using this urgent care center.

    My boyfriend woke up on a Wednesday morning with some concerning pain and swelling. I'm not from…read morethe area and had to pick an urgent care/walk in based solely on the information I could find on Google and Yelp. This location of Physicians Immediate Care was close, but also had the best feedback, and on that alone, we came in. The building was easy to find and well marked. The parking lot was easy to navigate (a plus in Chicago, always). The waiting room was clean, chairs spaced apart for Covid. Staff were very friendly and understanding. The check in was online, they take some basic info and email you the intake form, completely hands off anything in the lobby. They prepped us for ~an hour wait, and we could wait in the car for a text or in the lobby. We waited appx 45 minutes before called. My boyfriend felt comfortable and heard by the doctor, and said he was kind and reassuring, as was the nurse who assisted. The visit was quick and there was a lot of support for treatment and follow up. Without insurance, prices can feel scary but right on the front desk they have visit information clearly outlined into prices and took away the anxiety from not knowing how much we would have to pay. This was a top tier experience and I would recommend Physicians Immediate Care in this location to anyone needing this level of medical support.

After finally going into the room I waited 2 more hours when finally an assistant said well you insurance won't cover your visit and I said I don't care what it cost here is my credit card after that it took them 10 minutes to Check me out (walking pneumonia) . Never will I come here for any treatment
