The holy trinity of local BBQ is brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Edley's has another local favorite -- pork steaks. It also has smoked turkey, chicken, and ham. I decided to try the chicken sandwich because poultry is more challenging for many wanna be pit masters. It had a distinctive smoke ring and included both white and dark meats for flavor. Served Southern style, it included a dollop of vinegar slaw and dill pickles. The lunch special was a good value and included a side and soft drink. Brisket tacos satisfied a companion.
