I had a little household mishap that I thought would require a service call. I cleaned it up the best I could, but couldn't get the burner to ignite. I got ahold of the owner, I believe. I sent pictures to his phone, he sent pictures back as to you to clean it, where to clean it, etc. after much detailed work and even a little ingenuity on my part I got my burner to ignite! This guy could have scheduled a service call and collected a bunch of $$$$ but instead decided to be a good citizen and help a guy out. Wow. I spent hours with three techs from "Just Answer", and they were of no help at all. Desparate for help, I surfed the internet and found "Al" at Super Appliance Repair in Seattle. He was a huge wealth of info which he willingly shared over the phone. I am in rural Alaska, 600-800 miles away from him, so there is no way I could bring the LG appliance to him.
