Manito Taco Shop is an unexpected find in Lockport. We arrived shortly after opening and were lucky…read morethe timing worked out because this place was packed by noon. The man working at the register is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the service here is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a handful of tacos including vegetation, chorizo, carnitas, birria and two others I can't remember. Since it was our first time here I also wanted to try some of the sides to compare to my favorite Mexican spots and we ended up with chips, queso, beans, and chocolate tres leches cake. The toppings bar is absolutely the best in Western, NY with anything that you can imagine (except for radish slices). Our food was ready in just a few short minutes and all was to our liking. My husband felt that the birria was a little bland and I thought the beans were a little too soupy, but considering the spread we ordered and the excellent service that can be forgiven. Great spot if you're willing to make the drive.

Because 4.5 isn't an option, they get a lot right, and the guy at the counter earns a bonus star all by himself. The tacos and other items taste good and are consistent. Prices ride that line between fair and slightly high depending on what you order, but I've never left feeling ripped off. It'ss clean, the lines move fast even when it's busy. There's good energy here. It's also been cool to watch them grow from a food truck in a parking lot to a full restaurant. A big part of what makes this place work is Ivan( the guy at the counter). His charisma sets the tone, keeps the team buzzing, and gives the whole place its vibe. Even if the food were a star or two lower, I'd still stop in once in a while just to support him.

Give me one margarita...well, you know how the song goes. Margarita's is a great party atmosphere…read more I love the interior vibes, and when the warm weather hits the patio is a vibe of its own. My husband and I love sitting at the bar and watching the show of endless birthday singing, and patron sparklers with music. There is always music. You can't be in Margaritas and not smile at least once. The spirit in there is infectious. On this particular date, we got to catch some of the Sabres game, which was a treat and celebrate St. Patrick's weekend drinking margaritas. I got a flight, as always. I'm usually not a frozen marg girl, but when at Margaritas...plus on one flavor you always get a mini rubber duck and they are adorable and you can take it home with you. I like adding it to my collection in my Jeep. The standout marg was the watermelon. It wasn't too sweet. Prickly pear and dragon fruit were a little too sweet for me. Because I was hungry, but not hungry enough, I went with two side orders. I got a tostada and a taco. They were fine. My husband got a burrito and finished his meal. If you like a little excitement and party in your life, I highly recommend this place. Employees are friendly.

If you like loud, obnoxious, party-bar atmosphere- then this is the place for you. If you don't,…read moreyou will probably NOT have a good time. I came here with some family who were visiting from out of town. We wanted somewhere that everyone could eat at since we have omnis, GFs, and vegans. Love that there were options for everyone. However, my partner and I ordered the guacamole azteca which came out with cheese clearly on it and mixed in. I asked the server immediately if it was cheese and he said no, they would never put cheese in it. I had my doubts but thought perhaps it could be finely minced garlic. So we started eating. About halfway through we hit a pocket of unmixed cheese and I stopped eating. Asked the server a second time who denied it was cheese. He claims he also asked in the kitchen and they assured him it wasn't cheese. Well, it was- I got sick that night. My vegan dinner was small- no rice or beans. Just two sad little enchiladas with very little filling. There was a pile of iceburg lettuce next to them with a small scoop of pico. But all in all, the meal is NOT worth the price. The vegan options were the same price or more than the meat options, but came out with half the food on the plate. I felt this meal deserved only 1 star, but the fact that there were vegan options on the menu bumped it up to 2 stars. I will not be going back, I would much rather eat elsewhere in a more quiet atmosphere where the servers and kitchen staff KNOW what they put dairy in.

It's a Mexican-Breakfast fusion that works in all the right ways. From the Chicken and Churros to the Tres Leches Pancakes and Breakfast Entrees, this place is a pleasant surprise. Pancakes were really good but still definitely needed syrup, of which they had none. I ended up putting powdered sugar in my cream to make a bit of a glaze. So stash some syrup in bag if you're a pancaker. According to my guests the chicken and churros were great. The steak was two HUGE pieces. The rice was perfectly cooked. The refried beans, salad and potatoes were very flavorful. The tacos were great and very filling. We all left with doggy bags. Easily one of the best Brunch options in the Buffalo area with delicious non-alcoholic options beyond just pop. Ambiance is fabulous. Plenty of space for any size group. Fantastic, attentive, service. Clean bathrooms. You've gotta check them out!

Quick, friendly service, tasty food and a real party vibe!…read moreMy parents and I visited for lunch and there were a decent amount of people dining at the bar & seated at tables. We started with complimentary chips & salsa, a frozen paloma and jalapeno poppers. The chips & salsa were good, but pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. The paloma had a nice grapefruity taste and came garnished with a beautiful edible flower. The jalapeno poppers were just a cooked from frozen appetizer (my dad's pick) and in my opinion they were ok. Definitely not something I would choose to order at a Mexican restaurant haha. We all enjoyed our main entrees, which were a good size for the cost and were filling. We had a chicken enchilada, chicken fajitas and chimichanga.

When I went inside to pick it up, I noticed the space was decorated with colorful Mexican accents and had a warm, welcoming feel. Everything looked clean and well kept, which I always appreciate. Service was quick and the pickup process was smooth. I ordered the chicken tacos and guacamole. The guacamole was made in a way I have never had before, and I actually really enjoyed it. It had a different twist that worked well. The chicken tacos were good. If I am being picky, I usually prefer pulled chicken on my tacos, but I still enjoyed them overall. It was a nice, quick stop and I am glad we decided to grab food here while passing through.

Absolutely incredible food and equally as impressive service…read more We stopped by for lunch and we grabbed a seat in their large , well decorated dining room and within a few moments someone was by to get our drink request and soft touch the table. We were chatting with our little yelper and she had told the waitress she wanted chicken. Yes I know, chicken fingers in a Mexican restaurant.. our amazing waitress got those moving asap, and if you have a hangry kid. You know how important that is. We got the south of the border lunch and the steak fajitas. Those plates came out heaping with some of the best food we've had in some time. The chicken was perfect as was the steak. I literally couldn't have been more impressed with the meal. The only negative was the beans. Maybe it was us but we just felt they were too "soupy" but definitely not something that would negate how fantastic this was. Definitely not going to pass this gem again when we're in Hamburg.

My street tacos were very good, and much larger than street tacos normally are. They were loaded. The Birria tacos were also large and tasty. Good size portions for all meals Our service was excellent. Very much a party atmosphere.
