Machaca breakfast burrito for the win! I've been to Miguel's many times and I love literally everything on the menu and could drink their homemade salsas. With all my visits, I have never tried one of their breakfast burritos. I ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito and this baddie was huge. Fully loaded with eggs, cheese, and tons of machaca. Machaca is fried shredded beef mixed with onions and peppers and one of my favorite mexican breakfast dishes. Pair this burrito with their Taco Truck verde salsa or their Sunset Salsa, a medium salsa, and you'll be in beefy heaven. Order via DoorDash for pick up and it was ready at the exact time it was stated!

Pecs were HANGRY! Tasty bits here. Worth the drive. While here, set your phone to 'Taco FOCUS' so your meal is not interrupted. The tacos are solid and ONLY the TOP pro-eaters will sport a glove for unimpeded, jaw unhinging, food-to-mouth refueling. Save all the drips for your basket and not down your wrist. They're juicy! And gloves get me back in my ride much quicker! I will continue to refine my methods kinda making a game out of it. -G

I have been wanting to come here for sometime now. I finally made my way here. Located inside the peacock market on tollhouse. As soon as you walk in you can smell the amazing smells of the Carniceria. The cooking area looks really clean and organized. And the music they play inside the peacock took me back to the good times. A whole vibe while waiting for my food. Which didn't take long. The cashier named Esmeralda immediately makes you feel welcomed and seen. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and other guest who were purchasing from the liquor side. The cook was very attentive and as soon as he heard the order he started working his magic. I ordered the super burrito with shrimp and man the flavors on this are really good. Reminds me of an actual authentic Mexican burrito out of this city. Puro fuego. Bombdotcom. I can only imagine what the asada tastes like......And the salsa. Lord thank you for these people. I wanted something spicy, usually when you order salsa people will say it's spicy and it's not. Today they had a few versions but the spiciest were red diablo and hot diablo. I asked Esmeralda and she informed me that the hot diablo was very spicy this round, and I said I'll take it lol. I love spicy food and I'm thankful for this salsa. If you're looking for a local Mexican place give Miguel's salsa. And if you like spicy order the hot diablo. But be warned it'll tickle your esophagus a bit but you'll live lol.

Came in ready to demolish a taco combo platter and let me tell you -- I got exactly what I asked for... with a little plot twist. I ordered four Chile verde tacos, fully expecting them to arrive in their final, beautiful taco form. Instead, I was handed the "DIY Taco Kit: Lunch Edition." Not gonna lie, I had a brief moment of, "Oh... we building tacos today?" But honestly, it wasn't a deal breaker. I just would've preferred them pre-assembled so I could get straight to business. Now let's talk about the real stars of the show: those carnitas and the Mexican rice. The carnitas were flavorful and juicy, and the rice? Chef's kiss. Definitely a solid, filling lunch -- I left happy and borderline ready for a siesta. The owner was there when I ordered and he was super friendly. Offered free coffee (which is already a win in my book), and he was really social with customers. You can tell he actually enjoys being there and talking with people. They've got a small dining area in the back -- nothing fancy, but totally fine for sitting down and enjoying your food without feeling rushed. Overall, great food, great service, minor taco assembly surprise. I'll absolutely be back -- and next time I'm going for the torta. Stay tuned.

    Ordered tamales: 3 pork + 3 beef

Clean and welcoming, this spot is shared with a few other establishments. Requested a breakfast burrito. Because I was undecided on protein, I was recommended all three, chorizo, bacon, and carnitas, aka hog style. It was AWESOME. Also ordered beef and pork tamales to gift, and they were dearly loved by the recipients. Very friendly and accommodating service from the three employees who either took my order, served my order, and answered my handful of questions. Looking forward to visiting again super soon. Self reminder: order tamales 2 hours in advance.

We treated ourselves at Miguel's at the Peacock Market, and it did not disappoint. We started with breakfast burritos, and let me tell you--the burrito was even bigger in person! I went for the hot salsa, and yes... it was hot, but so worth it. I got a tub to go because it was that good. My burrito had beans, eggs, bacon, and cheese--all perfectly seasoned, and the melted cheese tied everything together beautifully. My boyfriend went with the chorizo burrito, and wow--it reminded me of the burritos my dad used to make at home. The chorizo was savory, flavorful, and cooked just right. After that, we grabbed some drinks at the parlor to complete our little morning adventure. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area--you won't leave hungry!

I'm so ashamed to be barely writing this review after all these years! I've tried Miguel's Salsa when they first debut as a Food Truck and partnered with Fresno Street Eats! I remember their tacos were so unique and was full of flavors I was instantly a fan. Then they announce they were in the Peacock Market (current location). I've return many times after during Yelp Events and solo during the lunch hour or just when I was in the area craving tacos. Lisa and Miguel are the owners they are really great people and their story behind opening Miguel's Salsa is so beautiful and quite inspiring. I normally order carne asada but today's visit I opted in their carnitas. It was tender and bursting with flavors. They sell their salsas in jars/tubs and the mild green is my absolute favorite, I can just drink from the tub it's so good!!! I normally order a tub to take home. The 3tacos plate comes with rice and beans the beans were a bit on the salty side for my taste and the rice though flavorful part of it was hard but that's okay the tacos made up for it! Plenty of parking and seating inside. I truly enjoy my tacos when I do visit. Would definitely recommend them if you're craving tacos.

Huge chunk of torta bread. Do they hate their customers?
    Cecilia H.

I don't mean to be dramatic but this is the worst Mexican food I've had in a while. There are seriously better options within a half mile radius. We got a torta, and three taco combo. The torta was mostly dried beans, meat was very chunky (see picture). The meat was far from "asada" it was grey. The torta bread was thick and oily. The meat was very chewy and flavorless. The only good thing is the salsa. Also they put cotija cheese on their tacos which is interesting......

I had to go back and support this place. It's close to home and I know they are trying. I had the carne asada quesadilla and carne asada burrito. Both of these items were huge. Full of meat. Both were made to order. The service is excellent and the wait time was not long at all. There were other orders before mine too. The location is unlike any other in the area. Show this place some love.

Delicious carne asada tacos and beans and rice..

Sad about this being the last event but will always be memorable. The carne asada tacos at Miguel's Place were delicious! Customer service was good but it was a bit chilly inside so we ate in the car with the heater on...lol. No problem. All was good and I highly recommend the carne asada tacos. So happy to be part of the Yelp community and donating to those in need. Any other events...let us know. Thank You Nate and Annika for a job well done and your great hospitality...

First timer! Came in on a Friday morning and got the chorizo breakfast burrito and let the girl know it was my first time and she gave me a sample of their chips and chile verde and oh em gee it was phenomenal!! Snapped a pic after I ate half and I almost forgot because I couldn't put it down! I'm normally not a fan of chile verde either but this converted me haha! I didn't end up eating my burrito until hours later and it was okay but to give a fair review I should have eaten it fresh. Friday there was a breakfast burrito special and on Sunday I believe also. Will definitely be returning!

    Jaycee T.

The food here is delicious! Friendly staff. Everything is hot and fresh. Their spicy salsas are bombbbb, so flavorful. I got a chicken quesadilla for the kiddos, packed with cheese and chicken. I tried their Gordita with beef and I never had a taco like that, it was packed with shredded beef the tortilla was dipped in like a red sauce. So bomb, gotta come back when im on that side of town to try their burritos and also get me some of their salsas to go.

We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

The Local gets the job done if you need a quick bite during the work day. I tried the BBQ Bleu Burger, which comes loaded with bleu cheese crumbles, BBQ sauce, bacon jam, fried onions, and the usual burger fixings. The burger itself was generously sized, but the patty was underseasoned, and the dominant flavors were mainly the bleu cheese and BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and felt it lacked flavor. Our kids split the mac & cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich, but neither was a hit. Even the grilled cheese went mostly untouched, by my kids which was unexpected. On the plus side, the outdoor patio is cozy and looks like a great spot for fall dining with a drink in hand. They also offer brunch, though it's available by reservation only.

They have a decent selection of beers on tap (about 10-12 if I recall correctly) and I tried a couple of their IPAs, which were both great. The kitchen was unfortunately closed so I can't comment about the food, but this seems like a great place to hang out at the bar and grab a couple of beers if you happen to be in town.

I arrived 25 mins before my wife and asked if I could sit on the patio and have coffee while I waited and they were more than happy to let me. My wife also got a pineapple mimosa and she loved it. They have mimosa flights too which me might try next visit. I had the Netflix and chilaquiles and my wife has the Kim chi breakfast rice . Both were so yummy . I appreciated that the chips never got soggy ... a little pricy but the flavor, presentation and customer service was all there. Small con: there was a little lipstick on my cup and it definitely wasn't mine.

I did ask for an extra sugar which didnt come which is fine. Our order of pancakes came out fluffy and crispy on the edges with a side order of sausage and tri tip, came out about 35 minutes after ordering, came out perfectly cooked. The sliced potatoes, fresh tomatoes, over easy eggs and spicy butter was a nice pairing to the tri tip. I will come back again ! Hopefully the outdoor fans and maybe mister ( water sprinkler ) will work as it was triple digits even that early in the morning. Non the less it was still a good meal.
