Darn good burger! Bar atmosphere but great burger & tacos.... Friendly staff. Right on Main Street.

    Cul de sac

We showed up to this place on accident and we were very hungry. It was 7 PM on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere.the place was clean and spacious. We decided to sit outside because of the nice breeze before the real summer heat starts. Our waiter was quick and friendly. We decided to share the cul de sac between us two and got the wings, mozzarella sticks, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The cul de sac is a lot more bang for your buck because it's less expensive than two entrees and we were craving too many different things. Plus, other than that nothing on the menu particularly stood out. We ordered a side of fries to go with it. All of our food came out hot and very fresh. I was extremely excited to try the mini corn dogs because I thought the breading would be thicker and more flavorful. They tasted like regular corn dogs. I found the chicken tender breading to be disappointing, but the inside was flavorful. I loved the mozzarella sticks! The wings were tasty too and not too spicy for me. The fries had the same look and texture as McDonald's fries with French fry seasoning. We found them to have a bit too much seasoning. Again, the service was amazing but I probably will not be going back for the food.

Farmers market skillet with light cheese - veggies over crispy potatoes topped with scrambled eggs and cheese

We tried Neighbors to check out their breakfast since so many of the breakfast spaces in Clovis are super busy on weekends and this place seemed pretty chill. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and always appreciate having a patio option. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were very savory. Lots of gravy but it was well seasoned and the biscuits were nice even though they were on the thin side. The farmers market skillet was great - local veggies, mushrooms, onions, and spinach with scrambled eggs. I asked for light cheese and added hot sauce and it was fabulous. My kids got the French toast and it was a large portion even though it was called "little" on the menu - it's the equivalent of 2 pieces of bread. We also orders the eggs Benedict on an English muffin and it was solid. Not amazing but good. Overall we enjoyed the food and the service and the pricing, which was around $10-12 a plate. They have mimosas and stuff as well but we didn't try that this time around. We would definitely come back!

Burger of the month for November 2021

I was here on 11/11/2021 with my wife on a random kid-free Thursday. We sat at the bar in front of the entrance and were promptly greeted and offered a sample of beer before ordering. Once the greeting was done it took longer than expected to place an order and at that time they were pretty slow. I ordered the Cali-Licious from Full Circle Brewery and my wife got an 805. We also ordered a fireball shot as a lost a bet... From here the good experience went downhill as they got busier and busier. Thursday Night Football was on and it didn't seem they were staffed to handle the crowd. Our beer refills were quick but I feel that was because we were right in front of the bartender. Beyond that we were mostly ignored. Not the end of the world as we were enjoying our own conversation. I ordered the burger of the month with onion rings and my wife ordered the cup-de-sac sampler to share. Mind you I've been eating greasy food for decades but this food was all mostly deep fried in old/dirty oil. The burger was meh. It was deli sliced turkey, stouffers stove top stuffing and some from a package gravy. Disappointed doesn't say it enough. About an hour after eating I had to puke in the bathroom, sorry TMI but it's the reality. Before eating I had a beer and that shot but I'm no rookie so some alcohol. In my opinion the sub par food just didn't sit well. I've got to the Fowler location for years and this was my first time at this location to eat, I've had drinks before. Will I be back, most likely but I'll stay away from the food.

I LOVE this place! I also LOVE their Fowler location! I think they have the most AMAZING staff. So friendly, attentive, fun. Even just today a server who wasn't even my server strolled by and brought me a sample of a new beer on tap. I thought that was fantastic! Made me feel so welcome:) I came by myself and they gave me the same attention as they would a big party. The Fowler location brings water for my dogs and loves to come say hi. I'm fact, they remembered when I said one night I was getting a new dog and they rushed out to ask me where my new dog was. Whoever does the hiring does a great job. I love the Buffalo sauce for the wings. Great selection of beers on tap. Love love it here. Keep it up, y'all. Good job. I'm happy to end my week here with ya!

    Chicken strips

Chicken strips specified tenderloins on the menu. They brought me frozen nuggets in the shape of strips.

Breakfast Shot is a MUST try if you have not had one before

They stop serving food way before they need to. The steak bites are great though, as well as their huge nacho platter.

The burger was okay but definitely overcooked and not very juicy. It was missing some flavor. The garlic fries were probably the best thing we ordered. The hibiscus lemonade was decent, and the mocktail we got was actually really good. As for the service, some of the staff were really nice and welcoming, but I did feel a little uncomfortable toward the end. When I asked if I could pay with cash instead of card, I got the impression that the person seating us assumed I was going to leave a tip and seemed disappointed when I clarified that I was just paying cash. I also felt like some of the servers were giving us an attitude afterward because we didn't tip. Overall, tipping is a personal choice, and I don't think customers should feel judged or pressured because of it. Some of the staff were genuinely kind, but unfortunately the food and the experience weren't enough for me to want to come back.

As someone who follows mostly a plant-based diet, I was overjoyed to discover such tasty options. They were so delicious that I couldn't get them out of my mind! The plant-based dumplings were just as scrumptious, and we even savored the leftovers for breakfast at the hotel the next day. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, the service was top-notch, and the location is incredibly convenient, only a short drive from the airport to our hotel. We will certainly make Colton's Social House a regular stop whenever we fly into FAT. Build Your Own Salad/Bowl: My favorite way to order. We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

The Local gets the job done if you need a quick bite during the work day. I tried the BBQ Bleu Burger, which comes loaded with bleu cheese crumbles, BBQ sauce, bacon jam, fried onions, and the usual burger fixings. The burger itself was generously sized, but the patty was underseasoned, and the dominant flavors were mainly the bleu cheese and BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and felt it lacked flavor. Our kids split the mac & cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich, but neither was a hit. Even the grilled cheese went mostly untouched, by my kids which was unexpected. On the plus side, the outdoor patio is cozy and looks like a great spot for fall dining with a drink in hand. They also offer brunch, though it's available by reservation only.
