    Pistachio cannoli.

A must stop if you're in Boston. Be prepared for some long lines but definitely worth the wait if you're looking for a sweet treat. Don't forget CASH ONLY. We loved their cannoli so much we actually came back here two days in a row. We also tried their rival Modern Bakery and loved their cannoli as well. I feel they are different styles. Modern is more traditional and Mikes is sweeter. Wish we could have taken a box of Mikes cannoli with us to California.

The legend of mikes has spread far and wide! We knew we had to make our pilgrimage to have proper cannoli. I had a Florentine and my bf had a choc chip. They have tons of flavors and the line goes on to the street. You should quickly decide what you want so you can order quickly. They wrap your cannoli in wax paper , powder sugar on top, and give it to you in a cute box! Bring cash!! The Florentine was hard and caramelized and filled with sweet ricotta filling. I wouldn't recommend if you don't like something very crunchy and it took me a while to eat it. However, i loved it and it was super good! I think you should try to eat your cannoli while it is fresh bc it gets soggy fast.

We came in here today for pastries to go, and there was an amazing selection of items. My favorite was the limoncello cannoli, but the Boston cream cake, and black and white cookie were also good. I definitely would like to try some of the other cannoli flavors too (an extensive cannoli menu). They keep the cannolis in the back, but you can see pictures and flavors on the wall menu. We didn't have a line around 2p on a Monday, but it got crowded after we walked in. It's cash only, so be prepared before you go there. Great place.

I'm new to cannolis, having tried them only once before coming to Boston for a recent 5-day vacation. So you won't find an educated opinion here about whether Mike's deserves to reign as king of cannoli-dom. But I will tell you the florentine I tried here was so delectable that I had to come back for another before leaving Boston. The lacy caramel shell was a perfect balance of crisp and chewy, sturdy enough to hold a prodigiously large glob of ricotta filling without caving in. The mini chocolate chips that decorated its ends functioned like crunchy-sweet punctuation marks adding extra oomph to the whole experience. Is it the best florentine cannoli in Boston? You be the judge. While you're busy debating, I'll be eating :-)

Enjoyed my canoli a lot! The line moved very fast. If you are indecisive individual, please move to the side while you decide because there are a lot of parties and goodies to choose from. Also to make the line go faster as sometimes people need to catch their train. This is located inside the train station at the Hub, so there are a lot of places here to eat, but for desserts, Mike's Pastry is the one! The team members are great and friendly too!

I know this is the canoli hot spot but neither my wife nor I are canoli fans. However we saw multiple people throughout the city carrying around these Mike's pastry boxes so we decided to check it out. The place was a mad house and like I said, I know most are going for the canoli, which flavors are posted at the top of the wall; however, due to a large crowd, we couldn't see what else they had so needed to make a split second decision based off what we could see when we got to the front. We ended up getting a piece of Boston Cream Pie and a whoopie pie. Neither of us have ever had BCP before so it was a decent first experience - i was wishing for a little more "cream" but the chocolate frosting on top was delish. The whoopie pie was barely mediocre BUT im also from Amish country and have high standards on those. A couple other things to note: It is CASH ONLY There was NO SEATING at the location we went to There are NO UNTENSILS so we ended up going to CVS and buying a box of forks and then indulging at a nearby park. I will say, for the big crowd, they did get you in and out pretty quickly.

Alright, if you love trying crowd pleasing bakeries....then is definitely a bakery you must cross off your list! I ordered the pistachio and chocolate dipped with chocolate chips cannolis. And boy did they NOT disappoint!!! The filling was creamy and the shell was absolutely deliciously sweet and crunchy. Ughhhhh....you have gotta try it! Heads-Up: There's a long line and they only accept cash! A little Hack: Stand in line and place a mobile order for pick up with UberEats (I did this and it totally worked).

Vanilla cupcake, smote and caramel/pecan cannoli(half eaten)

Walked in and was promptly greeted. I arrived around 10am and they had staff ready and eager to serve people. I am from out of town and this was a top recommended stop and it did not disappoint. I am guessing this is a pretty busy place. So many great choices along the way. Glad I had seen the pro-tip that they take CASH only. There were so many choices and everything looked amazing. They are famous for their cannolis and those too had endless possibilities and choices. I had the caramel pecan cannoli and it may be single handedly the best cannoli I have ever had. If you look at my picture I ate half of it before I remembered to take a photo. Added the vanilla cupcake and smore. Both were superb and the cupcake was fluffy and moist. They nailed the smore and the decadent marshmallow inside was freaking fantastic.

Every time I visit Boston, I have to come and get 2 Florentine Cannolis, it is a must. They are absolutely delicious. Can I eat one in a sitting? absolutely not! But that means technically, I have 4 canolies. As for the service, you might get a salty auntie or some funny dad jokes type, uncle guys. Lines can get long, but they move quickly. And hey, it's all worth it in the end .See you next time folks.

Mikes pastry is great. Cannolis aren't my first choice of dessert but theirs are delicious and huge. 7$ for one. Lines move quick and they have a great selection of items-way more than just canollis. No seating this is more of a to go spot. Iconic boston bakery.

    Chocolate chip cannoli

Our first night in Boston, and we had to try Mike's for the cannolis. I ordered the chocolate chip and it was good. The service was average, but considering the long lines, it's understandable. The ambiance of the bakery gave off a true New England feel, making the experience even more authentic.

Mama Mia! When in Boston you have to visit Mike's for Cannolo or Sphedelle AKA Lobster Tail. Organized chaos with a delizioso finish. Bring your patience and don't forget your cash (that's all they take) the line outside going inside is intimidating but moves quickly. The service is good-not alot of smiles when I was there but they do a great job taking care of you. The place is simple and is strictly a take out bakery, but the ambiance is interesting, definitely stay in line while waiting for your turn. The cannoli was delizioso as well as the sphedelle, biscotti was good and the pizzale just like my Nonna used to make. Located in the North End of Boston and definitely worth the time, actually I have never seen so many different flavors of cannoli. I prefer the original or traditional version that you find in Italy and in some places in the states and Mikes version is pretty good. Bravissimo Mike's Pastry keep it up, but maybe consider allowing the use of a credit card. With so many amazing choices it's hard to decide what to get so you tend to buy more and people don't carry that much cash in their pockets it's a good thing! Auguri

Be prepared long lines and cash only, but worth it! Cannolis and the cookies were our favorite! A must try if you're in the area.

We walked into a bright and modern space with display cases filled with different pastries and desserts, the kind of bakery that feels like a convenient stop for a quick coffee and pastry, but also works well when looking for a cake or something to bring for a celebration. The layout is clean and inviting, with the display case taking center stage and the seating area offering a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your order. The pastries are the main reason we would visit. The croissants and baked goods have a light, flaky texture, and there is a good variety of options ranging from classic French-style pastries to more unique flavors. The strawberry cream items are a standout because the combination of soft pastry, fresh fruit, and cream feels balanced without being overly heavy, and the cakes are a popular choice, especially for birthdays, because they are decorated nicely and tend to have a lighter style of frosting compared to many traditional American cakes. Beyond desserts, Paris Baguette also has sandwiches and savory options that make it more than just a bakery stop. The chicken pesto sandwich is a good example of how the menu mixes café-style food with bakery items, and the coffee and drinks pair well with the pastries, making it easy to grab a seat and spend some time there rather than just picking something up. The experience can vary depending on how busy the location is. The ordering process is usually straightforward, but busy periods can make service feel slower, especially when there are a lot of pastry and cake orders happening at the same time. Since many items are prepared ahead, checking the freshness of certain pastries can make a difference depending on what you choose. Paris Baguette is a reliable bakery option for pastries, cakes, and casual café items. The biggest strengths are the variety, presentation, and lighter dessert style, and while consistency can depend on the location and timing, it is still a convenient choice when looking for a mix of sweet and savory bakery items in one place.

The cake base is rather ordinary, but the blueberry yogurt cream has just the right amount of tartness, balanced by a touch of sweetness from the regular animal cream, while the strawberry pieces make the overall feel brighter. The "not too sweet" quality is truly exceptional.

If you see people walking around with a white (multiple cannolis/desserts) or blue (single cannoli) box tied with string, you know you must be nearby a Mike's Pastry. Though the line gets long, it does move quickly, and there are periods where it's not so crowded inside. It's cash only at this location. I didn't think I'd be here that day and realized I didn't crab enough cash but saw the sign for Uber Eats and GrubHub pick up, so I just placed an order for pick up from my phone on Uber Eats. It took about 5 minutes when I got my cute blue box order. There is a Bank of America down the same street if you need to withdraw cash which I later did. I'm sure there's also ATMs nearby. I think it's easier and quicker to order through Uber Eats or GrubHub and pick up. I've been here once before about 12 years ago. I tried the pistachio cannoli that time and loved it. This time, I wanted to try a different flavor, so I got the hazelnut cannoli. It didn't have the nuts I was expecting from the photo on the wall. It didn't quite taste like hazelnut to me at all. I regretted not trying something else. I eventually did at Hub Hall (another food hall) connected to North Station. This location is a little more expensive by $1-2 for cannolis compared to the one in Hub Hall and sells other desserts like turnovers, donuts, croissants and sticks if you don't want a cannoli (but then why come here for anything else?) There's also nowhere to sit.

It's a southern bakery run by Rick Ryan, who started the company as an homage to his grandmothers who baked for him back in Oklahoma. He started the small business to keep the memories of his grandmothers' desserts alive; they were the ones, after all, that inspired him to enter the world of culinary arts. And thank fucking god they did... Because one time, I was at a party in Cambridge and won a raffle for twenty dollars at Doris & Dixie. Not knowing anything about the company, I emailed Rick to place an order, asking for a dozen cake balls and a dozen cookies. Seriously, what's better than sweet little balls of gourmet, unique cakes?? Low and behold, the man DRIVES TO MY APARTMENT to deliver the order (he's amazing...) presenting two dozen home-made cake balls and 14 cookies! Yum. Not only was the packaging adorable (he put the cake balls in an egg container, labeled with paper that says, "Here's your pickin's...") but each dessert blew my fucking mind. Rick made cake balls of Chipotle Chocolate, Chocolate Clove Rum, Strawberry Lemon Basil, Hibiscus, Red Velvet, Pomegranate, Bourbon, Carrot, Chocolate Mint, Lavender, Chocolate Basil, and Humingbird------ALL by hand and all from scratch. He made amazing cookies too: Chipotle, Mojito, Pecan, Gingerbread, Hazelnet, Blackberry, Basil.... Now THAT is some fuckin' Southern hospitality. If you're in Boston and hungry for original, incredible pastries- go no where else for dessert. Skip the gross chains (seriously, though, Finale's dessert tastes like overpriced garbage slopped on a cookie sheet) and check out Doris & Dixie.
