Ugh I'm here to update my earlier review. I took my car in around early December for a quick repair, something had fallen on the roof and dented it. Should've been done super quickly and it was damn near the end of January when I got it back. The wipers were misaligned so I had to return, but also they told me during repairs, a ton of things went wrong including the accidental shattering of my windshield which they had replaced. I found a piece of my car's door rubber sitting in the back, since the windshield was broken, a ton of dust seeped everywhere in the vehicle in the crevices and all, worst part, they didn't have it cleaned as they normally do here, so I didn't notice until the daylight. read more

I've used this particular shop three times over the last 14 years. They do great work. They're very thorough and professional. I've always gotten the car back quicker than anticipated and appreciate that they keep you up to date either through texts or phone calls. Kudos to Nino and Andrew. read more

I would give these guys 5 stars because their work is excellent. In 2012 a tree fell on our 05 Escape, crushing the roof in, but they did a great job repairing the roof. However this year some guy ran a stop sign hitting the front side of my 97' T-bird. I too k my car to them, filing out their form, and marking the box to call me 2 times a week to let me know the status of my car. Over a week later I had to call them, and they said that guy working on my car was out to lunch, but would call me back. This was at noon. By 4:45 no call back so I called again and he told me he didn't have an amount from the other guys insurance yet (State Farm) and that he told me about how much It would cost to fix. Next day, State Farm calls me back telling me I was getting over $1,000 more than the repair would cost to fix. So I called Mike's to tell them to start the work, but it was Saturday, but the gal there would let the guy know, and he would call me Monday. Monday no call back, I call them back right before closing to let them know they can start the work, and he says "oh, we can't work on it" I said "WHAT? After all this time ?" He says "It wouldn't be ethical to work on it, because there could be more damage underneath, and he would would have to charge me more to put everything back together." I said I would worry about that, but he refused to work on it because of their "policy" with State Farm. Well, gee thanks for telling me from the beginning!!! After a week and a half, not a single call back, and after all of that, they tell me they can't work on it?!? Well how the hell does anybody with a claim get their car fixed there if they say it would be "unethical" to take it apart, out of fear it would cost more? That is MY problem not theirs! I'm the customer, remember? Well the guy their did give me a card of a independent guy who does insurance work. And he did a good job. This happened May 31st. Today is November 22nd. If I had never called Mike's back, my car would STILL be sitting there collecting dust. Sorry guys, but you need to get your customer service better than this. read more

My car was damaged from colliding into a big rig tire rolling across the freeway, which caused cosmetic and mechanical damage, Nino helped assist in the claim for me, he was very attentive and helpful with the repairs of my car, I feel as if he even went above and beyond in making sure the proper repairs were made on everything that was even remotely effected from the wreck, assuring that my car would be 100% safe and in tip top shape, this is a quality place, they even give you frequent updates on the estimated finish time, they did great work and Nino was very thorough the whole way through, I highly recommended this business. read more

Needed my front bumper replaced. Brought it here and Rory was so helpful from start to finish! Even when I went to pick up my car and he had noticed that the paint wasn't dry and someone had scratched up the brand new bumper, they had to keep my car for a few extra days to fix it. Rory even had mikes auto pay for my rental for the few extra days I needed it. They did a poor job in repairing our vehicle. Something got in the paint on the bumper and it is misaligned. They refuse to do anything, despite acknowledging their error. Their rep said all newer cars have paint defects. Brought it their twice, the first time they failed to tell me that the adjuster was there. The second time, the adjuster wanted to see their work. The adjuster touts their same line, all cars have defects and the insurance company paid... I stopped him in mid sentence and told him, i paid my deductible, so kindly refund it to me. Crickets. Take accountability for your mistake and offer a proactive solution. After all, you tout customer service, or is it disservice? We are going elsewhere. read more

We are so happy with the car service we have gotten from Mike's. The last repair we had was to my bumper after I ran into a curb. They repaired it in a timely manner and then just a couple of days ago, something bumped it again in the horrible parking lot we have at my job. I have been to this particular Mike's Autobody in Concord a few times. Each and every time my vehicle looked like out of a dealership. The staff from the front desk to the mechanics know what they're doing, and have an awesome communication going among them. I got estimates on all the various damages to my truck (it's a working ranch truck). The folks are very friendly and professional. From the paperwork to dealing with insurance companies to fixing up my truck in every detail, these guys and gals work like a well-oiled machine. And when I found myself between a rock and a hard place, they reached out to me and lifted me up! It can't get any better than that! My truck was repaired and washed and almost looked like new! They give you a ride to the rental car company, a ride to the bank if you need to get the money for the repairs, and they even take care of the rental for you. Special thanks and kudos to Andrew who had to deal with a deadbeat auto insurance company on my behalf. That was the insurance of the person who hit me. It was a difficult process but Mike's Autobody and Andrew in particular, took care of everything and put my mind at ease. I trust these guys with my truck any time! I am having a terrible experience with this shop now compared to previous years we had been going to this shop. I gave a bad review on their receptionist Crystal and I gave Donnie a chance thinking he would get back to us with their 100% satisfaction guarantee on a work done. We had our MB's clear bra done at this shop. We are completely dissatisfied with the work done - bubbles, strips of clear bra left glued, color different. Donnie promised to take care of it but NO. Nothing was done with it up until this time. NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORDS. read more

Our truck was hit when parked, the other driver acknowledged responsibility and his insurance company directed us to this shop for an estimate. We never received any written estimate. A week later a partial payment from the insurance company arrived giving details re. policy number, etc. When I called Liberty Mutual, they said they had already issued a substantial check to Mike's! I called Mike's and asked them to email a copy of the estimate. What I got was a one-page with zeros in all columns (can't figure out how to upload a picture of that estimate), and another form to sign, ok-ing them to fix it! ...WHAT? I called Liberty Mutual back and they emailed me all 13 pages of the estimate. I don't know what kind of repairs these folks do, but their business practices are pretty questionable, based on this! I never gave them ANY ok to proceed. They told Liberty themselves. In addition, they work during the week; I went elsewhere and repairs will be done over a weekend, so I'm not out a vehicle during the week. read more

I was backed into in a parking lot while I was in Starbucks getting coffee. When I came out, I saw a nice little dent in my fairly new truck, a broken tail light, and a dented bumper. Fortunately, the woman who hit me was re-parking her car so she could find me and exchange information. We had recently switched to Geico (meaning within the last 1.5 years) and had never filed a claim with them. The fact that the other party was also insured with Geico made things really simple. The claims person on the phone asked if I'd like to use a particular body shop. I had no idea where to go. She suggested Mike's in Concord, as they have a Geico claims adjuster located right there in the building (as well as an Enterprise rent-a-car location). I knew of Mike's - as they have several locations in our area that I have passed numerous times - but didn't really know about their operation of quality of work. I dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday, drove away in a rental, and returned on Friday to pick up my repaired truck, which looks as though nothing ever happened. I must say - these folks at Mike's have it going on. When I returned on Friday, the receptionist even remembered who I was and called me by name when I walked through the door. All of the staff was VERY helpful, professional, and courteous. They did a great job on the repairs, and even detailed the exterior of my truck. I couldn't be happier! I brought my car to Mike Rose after someone hit my car in a parking lot. My car already had damage in that area from a previous accident that I had not fixed. Damon was assigned to do the assessment of the damage. He was kind and patient with me even though my car was old a had previous damage. He provided a thorough estimate and broke down repair costs for most recent accident and costs to repair previous damage. When I decided not to fix the car, he re-attached my bumper at no charge and sent me on my way. Damon went out of his way to help me and for that I am grateful. He answered all of my questions and always treated me with respect and patience. It is rare to see this level of customer service. read more

I have used Mike's Auto Body 3 or 4 times now (unfortunately....lol) and EVERY TIME they are so AWESOME!!! I can always get an appt. when I need it, even next day...I get there and they are ready for me, even with my rental car ready to go!!! They are SO SO friendly, professional and courteous....even with my twin girls (who are 3 yr. old and full of energy!!)...they gave the girls coloring books and gecko/geico face masks, they helped me transfer my seats ( only with lifting, no plugging in =) ) and they do a GREAT JOB on the car too, EVERY TIME!!! This shop is the best I have ever dealt with, which is why I never go anywhere else, and you shouldn't either!!! =) And yes, i know that was alot of caps....lol....but they really are that GREAT!!! =) read more

I called earlier to schedule an appointment and the person had no clue I was. She couldn't find any of the paper. I gave her my name, the date and time I came for an appointment, the person who wrote up the estimate and my insurance info. If they can't find me in their system, then how diligent will they be on my car? There are a lot of body shops in this area, would recommend giving this feedback to your insurance company and finding an alternative. read more

Very surprised at how poorly they handled my car repairs here this time. I had gone here before about a month ago for my old Honda they were great. However, this time when I brought in my 2013 VW Passat for body repairs, I was very disappointed with their service. Charlie Campos was the estimator in charge of my car and he was very uncommunicative throughout the entire process, and he constantly gave incorrect time estimates for when the vehicle would be done, making me miss several appointments. Once I brought the car in, they told me to expect a two week repair job, but when I had called at the end of the first week to get an update Charlie tells me he did not even begin my car yet and is just now ordering parts. He then tells me it will be done by the 21st. The 21st comes around, and he tells me that they messed up the paint job and had to redo it, meaning it would only be ready on the 24th. On the 24th when I called, Charlie was actually out sick so his boss tells me it will actually only be ready the next day. On the 25th eager to finally get my car back, I call and he tells me it will be done in the afternoon and he'll call me when it's ready. So I wait, and when he finally calls me and tells me it will be done in 20 minutes, I rush over to the shop only for them to tell me that it will actually be another 45 minutes until it's done even though I was there actually 15 minutes after the time it was supposed to finally be done. Keep in mind it was me this whole time that had to reach out to him, he never once called me first to update me on my car. He only said sorry and that it "was a series of unfortunate events", no offer of anything to fix the situation or compensate me for the time he wasted. Got to give them at least one star though, because the finished product was good but it was hell dealing with Charlie through this whole process. read more
