Upon walking in, there was no host or anyone to greet us, let alone take us to a seat. A waitress just looked at us and walked away before we had to walk in and plant ourselves in the middle of the way to get anyone to notice us. After finally getting seated, we were ignored for another 10 minutes and were about to get up and leave, until the same waitress came over. She was sullen without an ounce of personality as if she was held hostage by the Mike's Burgers' overlords. Anyway, we finally decided on splitting a burger and onion rings, as the basic bare burger was $17 and doesn't come with fries or anything except basic toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, etc) and a choice of sauce. The burger was unremarkable and bland, with a strange smokey flavor. The rings were really solid and the only highlight of this visit. Unfriendly staff and overpriced bland food. Ate at Mike's on 3/11/23 and was really in the mood for a good burger, not of the fast food variety. Ordered a Mike's Burger medium rare with one of their spicy sauces on it, and a Diet Coke. The waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere was decent and comfortable. The burger was served medium to medium well without the spicy sauce. It did not appear to be a very good grade of beef, especially for the price of $19 which is their Lunch Special price, normally $22. The burgers and most of their food items seem to be choose your own toppings which is a good option. The burgers also include a massive amount of fries and a soft drink but since I didn't want fries, I feel like I paid for something I didn't want. It would be far preferable to pay a la carte for fries. I don't think the menu mentioned the all-inclusive nature of the burger dishes. Also, be advised that it is a kosher restaurant so cheeseburgers are out of the question. We had already sat down when I learned cheese was not an option and didn't feel like walking out. Decided to try this place out since it was new to the mall. How bad could a burger spot be? Well the answer is absolutely awful. My boyfriend had the NYC lamb burger which also has an egg on top. He said it was good but not worth the price. I went with a custom burger and made my own. Had a weird smell to it but it wasn't terrible. It was a Saturday night and they packed people into the restaurant like sardines. As we were sitting at the table they put a table of 8 people near us which would have been fine if the entire restaurant wasn't already jam packed. They have no social distancing whatsoever. It's honestly sick how money hungry they seem to be in the middle of a pandemic. You would think the safety of their guests and employees would matter more than money but not at Mike's Burgers! Then just to top it off the 2 burgers with a side of fries and 2 sodas came to $70!!! They don't show you the bill before you pay which is very shady. They charged us $10 for adding cheddar cheese. For $28 each for a burger I could have made them myself at home and it would have been not only better but a quarter of the price. I would have rather gone anywhere but this place. So if you want to be overcharged, and so close to the people near you that you mind as well just tell them to pull a chair over and sit with you, then I guess this is the place for you. read more

Informed my server of gluten allergy (celiac) and asked if the nachos dish had wheat in it, she looked utterly put out and impatiently asked what is it I can't have. I repeated, gluten. Me and my friend were walking in the mall looking for a place to eat when we saw Mike's Burgers. We decided to stop in and grab a bite. Firstly, we were waiting outside to be seated by the host (of which there was none) for a while before the people behind us in line had to go in to find a waiter who then came out to seat us. Once seated we looked at the menu and first thing we noticed were the bizarre prices for the food being served. We decided to stay and order some appetizers since they were the cheapest thing. We ordered some popcorn chicken, Hawaiian steak skewers, and a side of fries. A "meal" that came out to be over $50. After trying our plates we realized that we were not pleased with the food set before us. We immediately called the server over to ask to speak to the manager. After waiting approximately 15 more minutes, the waiter finally came back and told us that his manager told him to tell us that we could either order something else or take the food to go, without offering any type of discount. We then said we were not going to order anything else and were displeased with the food so we would not be taking it to go, asked to speak with the manager. She came over after another 10 minutes already wanting to argue. Instead of offering an apology or wanting to come to some sort of agreement/middle-ground, she told us there was nothing she could do for us as it was our "tastebuds" fault that we didn't like our food and that other customers loved it. I then explained that it's the restaurant's responsibility to make sure that the customer is pleased with the food and the service and that they were doing neither. I asked if we could get the most expensive thing taken off the menu seeing as we hadn't eaten any of the three things we ordered. She said no, that she would only take off one of the cheaper things and that we were being unfair to her. Suffice it to say she ended up taking the most expensive thing ($20 popcorn chicken) off the bill but not before she stormed away saying "it's only $3 more dollars but if that will make you happy I'll take it off" while rolling her eyes. Super displeased with the food and a manager's treatment. When I first saw mikes burger I was like wow cool place I should go there with my family and my friend, and when we went there I noticed almost everyone was Jewish but i didn't mind I'm not racist but the Jewish people there did, when we were waiting for a spot we waited longer than the people that were behind us even thought they were larger groups than us, it seemed as if they didn't want to serve me and my family as we weren't Jewish, but at the end I guess they noticed we weren't leaving so they finally served us, but then waiting at our table was worse, it took them so long to serve us and they served everyone who came after us first and when they came to serve us it looked as if they were just dragging themselves to serve us and then we looked at the prices, it was like $25 for just a decent burger and it wasn't even that good like who over prices food items like this if I knew this I would just go somewhere else and buy I burger that was 20x better for a cheaper price, and if your wondering how it tasted it was terrible, I got this chicken burger and most of the burger was just bread this dry bread that tasted terrible and then when I actually got to the meat and toppings I almost spit it out as it was so dry and tasteless I had to add so much sauce for the taste to actually be a bit good.
