Came here with family for brunch based on a recommendation, so expectations were a bit high going in. First impressions were solid. The space is bright, clean, and very spacious. It looks like they are doing some work near the lobby area, possibly weather related, but it did not take away from the experience. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away. The staff was friendly across the board and our server Emma was great. She checked in often and made sure we were good. Even though we ordered at different times, the food still came out relatively quick. Now onto the food. We had two Godfather omelettes with home fries. They were okay, but mine lacked flavor and the hash browns were overcooked. The potato skins with bacon were good, but also a bit overcooked. The standout for me was the breakfast egg rolls. Stuffed with Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, they were juicy, crispy, savory, and loaded with gooey cheese. Easily the best thing I had. We also had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit sliders, which I was told were good. The fish and chips, on the other hand, did not hit. It was greasy, heavily breaded, and the fish was mushy inside. The fries had a slightly off taste, though not terrible. I also had an espresso martini. It was decent, not the best I have had, but still enjoyable. Overall, the experience was good. Friendly service, a clean and comfortable space, and some strong menu items mixed with a few misses. I would come back to try more, especially the Bandito Burrito, Latin Steak and Eggs, buttermilk pancakes, short rib and egg tacos, Mexicali skillet, Cuban breakfast, cheesy bacon tots, Irish Dream coffee, and Pirate's rum punch. Shrinkflation is the new name of the game here from my experience over the past couple of months! $14.95 for 2 scrambled eggs, home fries, toast, and 2 sausage links. 1. The new sausage links are significantly smaller than they used to be. 2. You're never going to get 2 eggs. It always looks like a bit more than 1 egg when scrambled, portions are horrible. 3. Home fries are dry and bland. 4. I don't even think they really butter the toast anymore either. This weekend 3 adults and 1 child eating sliders, 2 burgers, an adult shake and a kids shake came to $100. When eating I asked the waiter if I could get a slice of onion for my burger, he told me it would be $1 extra. I said "oh I think you misheard me, can I just get a few pieces of raw purple onion for my burger, nothing fancy?" Nope, after speaking to manager they now want 55 cents for a slice of a vegetable on the burger! I jokingly asked "How much for the entire onion?" They responded that they won't sell an entire onion. And remember when you would get a burger deluxe and there would be a bunch of french fries on your plate, not anymore here. Now they put a small handful of french fries in a small metal cup on your plate, maybe 20 medium fries. Now it's $1.00 for a slice of cheese and 75 cents for lettuce and tomato. So now it's $15.95 for a cheeseburger with a few french fries, an onion ring, cole slaw, and pickles. They won't charge you for an extra pickle slice yet, so at least I could eat a few pickle spears with our $100 burgers. Also, $3.25 for a seltzer?!! This place is crazy! I wonder how many times the topic of charging for ketchup, salt & pepper came up b/c that's next I fear! The prices go up, the portions get smaller, and we get nickel and dimed for every little thing. So I left a significantly smaller tip, if I'm going to get cheaped out on every little thing then I'm going to start doing it too. If prices increase by 20% and portions decrease by 20% and service decreases then that's where I'm going to find my savings. Sorry to say, this is our new reality. read more

The service was appreciated while the food came out promptly. The prices were on the costlier side too. For a shareable, the breakfast egg rolls ($13.95) were ordered. They consisted of Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, with a cranberry ketchup. This was a different type of egg roll and they were great. The egg rolls was extremely crispy, and the cranberry ketchup had the ever so slightest cranberry flavor. There were six halves and they were large with plenty of filling. I shared the cinnamon swirl pancakes ($16.45?) and Albacore Tuna Melt ($16.45?). There were three good sized pancakes. The pancakes were solid. They were light and fluffy. I would have liked to seen more cinnamon sauce present as it was mostly only on the top pancake as they were stacked. The warm syrup was a nice touch though. The tuna melt was also pleasant. There was a nice toast on the bread with plenty of tuna present. The cheddar cheese could have been melted more. The homemade chips were crisp and thin too. Will I go back? No doubt. read more

I visited for a birthday Christmas Eve celebration and was so impressed! This is by far the best looking diner I've seen in a long time. It's such a spacious diner with great holiday decor. Also, A+ for cleanliness in my book with terrific service. There's a ton of dining options with a specials menu of course. Highlights from our meal included the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese egg rolls, vodka disco fries, various chicken sandwiches. The Reuben sandwich was also amazing. I tried a Dr. Pepper dirty coke with coconut cream. That was delicious. To end the meal, we had to try a banana and Nutella milkshake. I usually love Orange Town and have had great experiences here, but I was really disappointed today. I ordered the Biscuit and Gravy Benedict, and unfortunately, there was a large eggshell on my plate. I let my server know, and they kindly brought me a new dish, but when I started eating, the gravy was still full of eggshells. It actually stabbed my gums, which was really upsetting. What's so sad is that, apart from the eggshells, the dish was packed with flavor. It had a lot of potential. The home fries that came with it, though, were pretty bland and lacked seasoning. On a positive note, the chocolate chip pancakes are amazing!! The whipped cream on top is especially delicious. I also love that they serve Illy coffee, one of my favorite brands. If it hadn't been for the eggshell incident, I honestly would've given this diner five stars. The interior is fun, with a quirky modern-retro vibe, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The wait was quick on a busy Sunday- it was pretty packed. Typical diner vibes. We come here occasionally and the service is usually great- this past Sunday our particular server had a hard time understanding us and therefore couldn't make us simple accommodations that we were requesting. It's not the norm though, so it won't really deter us from coming. The food is always consistent and good. The pumpkin pancakes are a fall special and they were really good. The sliders and tacos were both good. The homefries were really big pieces of potatoes that should've been more chopped up/seasoned. This is my favorite diner in the area. The menu has wide range but isn't as dense as your classic diner's, but the menu is still mostly hits and the service is good. I don't have photos of it but my favorite is the big Chopped Salad (romaine, tomatoes, avocado, asparagus, bacon, blue cheese, green apple, grilled chicken). The ingredients taste fresh and balanced. I'm a big fan of their wings for the table as well. Their burger and fries are on the greasier/crispier side, so I prefer the salad, personally. And then the shakes. They have their own menu. (The menu situation is confusing as there are three different menus with multiple copies of each for the table.) Each is as decadent as they look and every time we're here, parents order them for each of their kids and nary a kid finishes them. Not enough chocolate options in my opinion and I haven't found a clear winner on the menu, but I'll keep searching. My friend and I had heard of this diner's unique offerings and we decided to pay a visit to try them. Everything we had was fantastic and perfectly prepared. She really enjoyed her caramel latte, as did I with my black coffee. Both variants of the French toast were amazing, and the additional toppings really added something interesting to the mix without being overpowering. We opted to get the maple syrup which is an extra $3 each, but it's well worth it. My friend loved her eggs and home fries as well, and only brought some home because she was too full to finish it all. My short rib and egg tacos were phenomenal and we're the perfect blend of breakfast and lunch influences. I absolutely loved it. Customer service here was amazing. The diner was very clean and the staff was accommodating and quick. We never had to look for a staff member when we needed something. I would definitely recommend anyone check them out. The severity was extremely patient, when it came to us ordering, the food came out extremely fast as well which was quite impressive. The ultimate nachos were decent, the buffalo chicken egg rolls were were kinda dry, the white hot chocolate was able to be made with almond milk instead of regular milk since I requested it. I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken was way too fried so it tasted more like breading than any chicken. The presentation of this milkshake was amazing! Very bright, colorful, and neatly arranged. To be honest, it was New Year's Day, I was hungover and my server spoke under her mask so I couldn't pay attention much. So, I got dragged here against my own will on a weekday night. I was told this was an "upscale" diner and very different than most. As for myself, I've always hated diners. By the third bite I was cursing them out for even encouraging me to eat it. Those things were so damn good. It went perfect with the sweet and spicy sauce (I love sweet, rather than tangy/tart/etc). The crust was baked to perfection. The cheese was perfectly melted and stringy. Each one was stuffed with meat and by the 4th out of 7, I was damn near full. I paid about $12.50 for them. The waiter was cool and service was prompt. The place was clean. I'm still dreaming about these egg rolls. I've never liked diners, nor did I know an "upscale" one existed. It's about time! We finally found a diner with good food! We were seated quickly in respects to how busy they were, granted it was a Sunday morning. We started with the breakfast egg rolls, these were HUGE, and tasty, they could easily be a meal. For our main food we got corned beef hash, extra well-done, with over medium eggs. This spot has such an old school charm that it'll make you want to start singing the Grease soundtrack. You go inside and see the classic diner set up but with modern day touches. Things like a fresh bakery and a juice bar bring it into modern day! I loved this spot, I went all out with the funfetti pancakes, it was sooooo good! I really recommend coming here.
