I would highly recommend Mike's moving. Two very nice cordial men arrived exactly on time. They were most professional and took great care of all my things. I was located on the second floor and never once did I hear a complaint. The person I spoke to on the phone quoted me their prices and when all was said and done it was the exact amount he had told me. I had several questions beforehand and he was very patient not seeming to be irritated by my questions. We had set appointments with Mike from Mike's Moving for labor to load our UHaul truck for August 31, 2022 and again on September 2, 2022. We set the appointment for 10am both days and explained to Mike that UHaul does not open until 9am, so time to checkout and get gas would make it 10am before we would be onsite and ready. Both dates the guys who showed up were very professional & friendly and I highly recommend them - if only they would start their own company. August 31st went as planned with no issues. The guys did a great job stuffing the truck and leaving no dead space. They were on time and very professional. September 1st we were at the new home - 2 hrs away - unloading the 1st truck. Apparently, Mike had called and left a message on our land line to DEMAND we change our time to 8am or he was going to boot us to late afternoon or cancel. Again, we already explained to him why we set the 10am timeframe when we made the appointment and he agreed to this time. We did not return to the home and receive this message until 9pm that evening. I called immediately, and although he seems to expect us to wait by the phone and not be unloading or anything else, he was not available when I returned the call. I left a message. It happens that UHaul could not get another large truck, so we decided to drive it back and reuse the same truck. Therefore, had he answered my call, I could have agreed to the 8am DEMAND for Sept 2nd appointment. Since we did not connect and agree to anything different than the appointment we both previously agree to, that appointment stands. No one called back, so 8am Sept 2nd, I called back and spoke to someone named Nick. He was belligerent and unprofessional. Simply stated Mike said and therefore that is what was. I did explain that we were 2 hr drive away unloading all day and did not get the message until 9pm, but he dismissed all logic and reasons for making appointments and repeated that Mike had called and we did not answer. He said that our appointment was now at another house and would come by our home when they finished. Five hours later - the guys did show up. They too were very professional and friendly. They did a great job loading. They were instructed to collect monies due prior to loading because I was causing discourse. Mike is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, & arrogant - postponed our agreed upon appointment to 5 hrs later, but I was the one causing problems. I never even raised my voice, I did state my case and the fact that we needed the job done asap as we also had an appointment for unloading at the new home and did not want to miss it because that company had a full schedule and could not reschedule during the time we had the truck rented. Arrogantly, neither Mike or Nick apologized or accepted any responsibility. If this is how they do business neither one should be in business. This load was much smaller and the guys were so good at loading that it only took them 1.5 hrs. Mike's policy is 3 hr minimum. I did understand this and assumed it would be about that long. He could have as a good will gesture for being so unprofessional, offered to only charge for the actual time. He did not. I had understood the policy but it would have gone a long way to make up for his inability to keep our agreed upon time. For having to file a formal complaint and no concern to resolve, I now request a full refund for the Sept 2nd date. The guys that actual do the work were awesome. I do hope they get together and form their own company as they would do well. However, I cannot recommend Mike in any capacity - and therefore cannot recommend Mike's Moving. read more

Used Mike to move me from 200 miles away to Cedar Creek. Schedule communication was good. Crew showed up when promised and did a great job fitting everything into truck. George and Andrew hustled and worked well together. Haven't found any damage. So I moved about 3 weeks ago and meant to post this then but doing it now. We moved from Elgin to La Grange and had so much stuff but between Dustin, Wesley and Cody coming later they were awesome!! This guys worked there butts off for us and couldn't be happier w the work they did. They even helped me get the guys dropping off the fridge some help in the door bc they couldn't get it through the door. Seriously guys thank you for everything y'all did ( Dustin, Wesley & Cody)!! Not a very good company. one of their drivers hit me on the road, and ran. He did not bother to stop. Their drivers should be more alert on the road. When I contacted the owner. he said his trucks weren't in the area at all. When I musket chased the truck down for 30 miles. no police officers were around to pull them over. They have yet to take responsibility. I would not do business with them. read more

I found them extremely easy to work with. I received a flat rate bid for a move from Smithville to Spring Texas in April this year (2017). Mike's bid was the best by far. Movers showed up on time and worked their tails off. No lolly gagging from them what-so-ever, they actually worked so hard I somewhat felt sorry for them lol. Be packed and ready when they arrive because they do not play around. They had my entire home loaded on the truck and headed to Spring before I knew it! At the new house, they asked where I wanted each and every item and box to be placed. They did everything I asked of them and were very respectful and polite. Nothing broken, damaged or lost. I moved at the end of July. It took two trucks and 4 guys all day to get my abundance of stuff, moved in. I had downsized, thus and I had my stuff piled floor to ceiling in the garage. They had moved a brand new refrigerator to the garage for me. Needless to say, it was covered and surrounded by the rest of the stuff. When we finally uncovered it, there was a big scratch/dent on the front of the door and there were no screws to be found to put the bottom and the handles back on. I sent Mike pictures of before, during and after photos of the scratch on September 20th with no response what so ever. Finally, I called him again and sent the email with the pictures again on October 5th. When Mike was answering his phone, he said he would come and take a look at it. It is now October 22 and we haven't heard hide nor hair of him. He isn't answering his phones now. This move cost over $2220 and I gave them a $300 dollar tip. I never would have tipped them had I known, they dented the frig and never said anything about it. All in all, the guys did a good job, but if there is an issue rest assured Mike won't do anything about it. You just can't treat people like this. CKW read more

Huge move. Several things missing (who knows which box I will find things in) items. Small TV in one box... remote and ELECTRICAL cord have not been found yet. Have top of blender but not the bottom (power part!), several things were broken! "They" offered to unpack us - - at THEIR HOURLY RATE! NO THANKS! We moved end of August 2016, probably be December 2017 before I find everything! I have been moved MANY times by the military, never have ever had such a mess. read more
