One of my favorite Pizza spots in Cincy! I cant get enough of this place, and they know how to keep you coming...by releasing a pizza of the week. I mean, they already have a great base line selection of pizza, but then add a special weekly pizza to the line up, each week. You have to go back again and again to try the new pizza. I highly recommend Mikey's. The vibes are inviting and decor absolutely hilarious. There's a nice full bar and the line for pizza moves quick. The slices are bigger, new york style. I opted for the Spicy Pepperoni which had banana peppers and siracha on it. For a spicy lover, I highly recommend. The dipping sauce options (unicorn sauce, garlic sauce, etc.) make this place even better. I would definitely stop by here any time of the day or night for a quick slice or two. read more

I typically grab a slice when I'm having a beer at Oddfellows. You can't go wrong with pizza and beer. However, my most recent visit (September 4) was genuinely terrible. My friends and I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes. There was no one there and the phone was ringing constantly. We go over to the bar and ask the bartender if he knows where the employees are. The lady that was sitting at the bar comes over and takes our order. She then gets two guys to come over and leaves. They forgot half our order and are not paying attention at all to what is going on. I stood at the counter again before finally getting their attention. I tell them they forgot one of our pizza slices and ask how much longer for our cheese bread. He didn't know what I was talking about. He gives me my pizza, has the other guy make the bread and puts it in the little oven. Queue us going back to the counter after 10 minutes. He had forgotten about the cheese bread and you could see smoke coming from the oven. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the pizza. Will I be stopping back? Probably because it's convenient. But I was very, very disappointed in the entire experience this go around. read more

Delicious, HUGE slices of pizza!! We ordered the vegan pizza (which I think is technically High Horse Pizza, but owned by same people), and it was to die for! The vegan pepperoni was the best thing ever and made me want it all the time! What a cool place! I love the cool atmosphere and decor inside of Miley's. Really nice patio area and tons of seating area. This is one of the only places in Cincinnati that is open until 4am with food offerings, which is a great last stop after your night out. I love what they have done with the place inside. Mediocre service, pretty good food, delicious dipping sauces. Mikey's didn't seem to care that the service was averages, it almost felt intentional. Everything there is just "basic" and that's kind of the point. It's connected to Oddfellow's bar where we tried some delicious, innovative cocktails while eating our pizza at the bar. We'll probably return when we get that late nite pizza craving and we'll get exactly what you'd expect. read more

This place was great. The space itself is really cool, the decor is awesome. They have two bars, everything is very spread out. We came here for the pizza, it didn't disappoint. I had the "Plain-Ass Pepperoni" and "Spicy-Ass Pepperoni with Sriracha". Both slices were excellent, the latter definitely had a nice kick to it. The pizza is perhaps a little over-priced but the slices are huge. Make sure you try all the sauces they have available, their garlic sauce was great. Overall, definitely worth a visit. read more

However myself and a few others came into the restaurant prior to 2AM when they don't close until 3AM and was told by the male worker working at the front that he was not making any more pizza and if we wanted anything we could order what they had made (three slices of mushroom pizza) and was totally and completely rude during the entire encounter. Was excited to try this place. Stopped in here last week around 2am after hanging out with friends. This restaurant isn't by anything so you have to make a point to go. The decor on the inside is cute and you can probably take some coll little photos in there. But anyways, I found the wait for this place to be ridiculous for a place pricing itself on being open late night. I first had to wait in line for over 6 minutes to order when there were only 4 ppl in front of me. I finally make my way to place my order and they only have 2/6 available pizzas ready to go as a slice. The cashier then tried to insinuate that those were my only options as if I had not looked up this place online before coming. I specifically came to try something other than cheese and pepperoni. He then let me know that they would have to make the pizza and to have a seat. After literally 20 minutes I have to ask where the pizza was and how much longer would it be. They only had two people working which I didnt understand. I am finally given my slice, and then another customer who was their before me was also inquiring about her slice of pizza as well. We both ordered the same thing and there is no way I should have received my food before she did. Needless to say she was PISSED. Actually everyone in there was pretty pissed. It's now approaching 2:30 and the place is getting a steady flow of people. Everyone is hangry and anxiously waiting their pizza which is not a good look. I shouldn't look around and see anger and frustration on ALL of the guests faces when we all came in for a simple slice of pizza! Now onto how the pizza tastes. I ordered the mushroom and garlic slice. It was good but very thin. I felt as if I should of ordered 2 slices. Slices are a decent size but thin. They also have different sauces you can add to your pizza at no extra charge which is nice, but again the pizza is so thin the sauce can easily overpower the pizza. Overall the restaurant is cute, pizza is decent but not worth the wait. They need to figure out a better way to accommodate their late night crowd or your better off staying on Main St guessing the wait times between Goodfellas and Lucy Blues. Overall my favorite pizza place. Absolutely love the "spicy ass pepperoni". It's just the right amount of heat. I recommend taking advantage of their dipping sauces too. The garlic butter goes very well with any slice you get. read more

A GREAT open atmosphere. Open air space that is very spacious tons of tables and seating. A side for eating and a side for doing more drinking with music videos playing with plenty of standing room and area to walk. Good for many age groups. We also got pizza and the manager Dan was very welcoming and the bar/restaurant definitely gets an A+ for hospitality. Pizza was great and spot on New York style! read more

The 1st Cincy location of this Columbus enterprise. I would say moreso on the outskirts, lessly gentrified parts of OTR (which will sadly come to an end). Since only close late night comp is Rhingeist next door so not sure if they'll create an allyship. This will definitely be a popular move once weather is nicer so they're very strategic when they just opened about a week and a half ago to create the buzz. Especially when FC stadium is complete. Their interior is truly elite. It's like chill, not too pretentious, genuine of hipster vibes. So just right. From a range of antiques, vinyl album covers, a couple statues of the Westernized image, more Eurocentric features of Jesus breaking slices, and much more. They have two full service bars and a nicely sized patio in the back (not much of a view though). Food was pretty standard. Since new, some of their menu items weren't present though. What we did have was every slice besides their mushroom. Plain and spicy ass pepperoni (and it is quite spicy) was cool along with their take on cheese pizza and Italian sausage. You have to put in effort to mess up pizza. But it seemed food been waiting on us and when they placed our slices in the small on the counter conveyor oven guess they didn't have it up for our slices were kind of cold still. Do yourself a favor and get the cannoli chips! They'll change your life. They provide vegan/gluten free options and healthier alternatives (what they call rabbit food). Mikey's definitely convenient when craving something after 10 or in our case 11 pm during the work week when practically all food spots are closed. The pizza was dope. I ate here during Brewmania at Fountain Square and had the Spicy pepperoni. Usually when things are labeled spicy it just tastes spicy, but this actually had some heat. The sauce had sriracha in it and it tasted awesome. They also had a variety of sauces to dip your crust in. I believe the one I tried was called unicorn sauce and it was very good. If you ever find yourself near it, I would highly recommend trying it out. read more

Came for pizza week yesterday evening. The employees knew nothing about the event or deals associated and seemed very bothered by us asking about it. Luckily they had a Wednesday deal that equates to the pizza week deal. It took a while for the employee to take our orders or even acknowledge us standing in line. I came here with my boyfriend for the Yelp Elite perk to grab a slice and oh my God this is the best pizza in Cincy. My boyfriend is from New Jersey and it is SO nice to find somewhere in the city that has by the slice pizza that actually has flavor to it. There was the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings which I was super excited about. They did not put a ridiculous amount of cheese like so many pizza shops in the area have a tendency to do. I had the plain ass pepperoni pizza because I think the classics are always a great way to judge a pizza shop and it was genuinely the best slice of pepperoni I have had. The actual dough had a very enjoyable crispiness to it and didn't get soggy from the sauce. The pizza crust had a bunch of herbs on it and I was so happy to eat it. Every bite was extremely enjoyable and the portion was generous, but not ridiculous. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

I went to Mikey's on the media preview night months ago and at that point it was okay. We ate for free and free stuff can paint a different picture than when you have to pay for it. I went back with my girlfriend last week and we got 3 slices of pizza and a half salad and 2 drinks and at over 20 dollars I feel it should be much better, especially being blocks from goodfellas which isn't that good but might as well be the best pizza in the world comparatively. We were there rather early in the evening at around 630 and it was clear the pizza had been sitting awhile. They heated it up but it did little more than make the grease liquified. I ate it and just was so unimpressed with the whole package, it is bland in every way... it makes me think of something engineered to be as inoffensive as possible in order to appeal to the most people and that's just not how it should be. Pizza should have character and set itself apart from its competitors but this just tastes basically like a frozen pizza with extra steps added. I had a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni and the only saving grace was the garlic sauce. The salad my girlfriend got was just sloppily thrown on a pizza platter and looked pretty sad being basically just lettuce with some tomatoes slathered in ranch. Overall I was so hungry I ate it all but then 4 hours later I got very very ill and ended up awake most of the night with various bathroom problems, my guess is maybe it was sitting too long or maybe there is something in the pepperoni that disagrees with me and I can't really count that against them if it is something like that. Regardless of the intestinal distress this is just not a great place. Perhaps if you're drunk and it is late I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing but you're better off anywhere else if that isn't the case. read more

Ordered a pie through uber eats, 1 topping pie was over $35 including the multiple surcharges despite one of the fees being waived. Arrived luke warm, this was my first pizza through uber eats so I dont know how 'standard' this is but it was a disappointing beginning. The cheese was thin and stiff, and the crust had absolutely no crispness to it. Through uber eats, we had the option to order 'red sauce' or 'spicy sauce' and we went for spicy. Instead of a spicy sauce, we got a pizza that had been heavily sprinkled with red pepper flakes (it is possible that the sauce had some 'zing' to it but it was massively overpowered by the presence of the red pepper). This made it 'hot' without any nuance to the spice, kind of how college kids challenge each other to eat 'spicy' food when they mean 'hot.' So I called to say something, and was directed to the kitchen manager. The young lady explained to me that they put sriracha 'under' the sauce and I had to explain to her twice that the red pepper flakes were ON the cheese while the sauce was UNDER it. At that point she says "well that is how THEY do it." At that moment I knew there would be no accountability. I later got an email offering me a slice 'when I came back in'.... yeah, thats not gonna happen. To her credit the kitchen manager asked 'what would you like me to do about it' but it was in such an exasperated tone that it felt disingenuous. And to be honest, I was ticked off enough that I thought at the time that she should have offered to comp part or all of the bill, or at least comp our next order, and not force me to beg for some correction. I think I'll just stick with a very expensive lesson to avoid this place and hope others can learn from my mistake (in ordering from them in the first place, their pictures looked good but I can say from experience, in this case, 'pictures lie'). read more
