Michael's is a wonderful place to stop and grab a quick bite. They serve breakfast, lunch and desserts. Our waitress Amber was absolutely amazing! She kept my coffee filled and our food was out in a jiffy. It's a ma and pa finer style restaurant.

Food was pretty tasty overall. Customer was average. And the place was not the cleanest. But because of the food I give it a 4 star. Paid $27 for 2 omelettes and 2 biscuits.

First time in this place that has been here forever. Small but you get that comfortable at home feeling. It was clean inside and well lit with plenty of windows. The service was so welcoming and they talked with us and joked around. They were not just there to serve but to interact and talk with us. A very nice experience. The food was good, there were no complaints from anyone in our group. The place only serves breakfast and lunch and they do it very well. I will be trying to come back more often.

Gyro with cup of homemade soup only $6.55.

Traditional Greek family owned diner hits the spot for a weekend brunch. From the warm and friendly welcome to the quick and attentive service to the yummy cinnamon swirl french toast, this ma and pop shop is a neighborhood gem on 6th street. Pass on The Breakfast House and make your way here as it is worth the extra 3 block drive. Typical menu offers breakfast items, homemade soup and hot sandwiches including gyros and phillies. Greek style seasoning adds a kick to the grilled chicken. Not a fancy place, but lots of parking. We had a great first visit.

I've been coming here for years. The food is consistently good and the service is fast and friendly. We always check to see if they have potato soup - we could make a meal from this alone. I opted for eggs and potatos which were perfectly prepared. My kid at the grilled cheese sandwich. It looked good and judging how fast it disappeared I must assume it was tasty.

Definitely gives you the feel of the old home town diner. Good food and great wait staff. Large portions.

We had a Denver omelet with hash browns cooked to perfection and toast. We also had biscuits and gravy with fruit. Who knew there were some many ways to have biscuits and gravy! The staff was friendly and attentive after I was seated. The ambiance was like that of a classic diner, which I am very fond of. Now for the food. I had the Berries and Cream Cheese French toast with a side of eggs over easy and bacon. The French toast with the cream cheese by itself was great. The homemade blueberry sauce took it to the next level. The bacon was just how i like mine cooked. Crispy yet chewy and the eggs were perfect. I decided to go back for lunch and ordered the Hot Beef open faced dinner on sourdough. It had been years since I'd feasted on one and this did not disappoint. It was a healthy portion which carried me over to dinner. I cannot say enough good things about the staff I interacted with. Tiffany, the owner. Amanda who took my order for lunch. Natasha for seating me and who kept checking on me as i dined for breakfast. And my server for breakfast who I forgot her name. She was equally as friendly and provided excellent service. I go home to Austin, having two wonderful meals and the pleasure of dining in such a quaint restaurant.

I chose the catfish po' boy with jalapeño corn. The corn was amazing, but the sandwich itself was just okay. My lady ordered the Nashville Chix with coleslaw. The chicken had the perfect blend of spicy and delicious. The coleslaw was really good, though I'm not a coleslaw fan, so take that for what it's worth. The atmosphere includes lots of TVs playing sports, a large bar, and at least two pool tables. There's also a big outdoor seating area with cornhole. It felt a touch run down when we visited, but we arrived just after winter, so it's probably very nice the rest of the year. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's also conveniently located near hotels, shops, and plenty of other things to do. I would definitely return to Scores.

There was a huge party, a group of little leaguers and parents (30-40 people) there at the time. We were told that because of that, the food might take a little longer, we were fine with that, but appreciated the heads up. Despite that, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. And the food was really good! Great sandwiches and fries, all served hot. The waiter continued to be attentive throughout our meal, even though he was extremely busy. We were very impressed. We stop through Cedar Rapids every year so we're glad we finally found a good place to relax and have dinner. Btw, the multiple sports on TV are a total bonus!
