They kept saying they didn't receive it. I had to contact primary care several times to have them fax the referral to them a couple times until they finally received it. They got a pre-authorization from my insurance company which means they accepted me as a patient. They scheduled me for several visits so I blocked myself on my work schedule. I filled out all the paperwork , showed up at my very first appointment because I was very excited about a new journey and I was told that they will not be able to see me. It was very unprofessional the way that the staff didn't have a clue that they don't accept my insurance until one of the other staff members pointed it out. she said just because they don't accept my insurance, I wont be able to pay out-of-pocket to be seen. They obviously had some discrimination against me. I would never waste my time to see these unprofessional people that called themselves a clinic. They didn't even apologize enough for wasting my time to come in , to fill paperwork and to go back and forth with my primary care.

Went to get a first DEXA scan and really didn't know what to expect. The appointment was fast, and…read morethe service was friendly. Kalen greeted us as if we are old friends. The DEXA scanner is inside the van but don't let that fool you. Kalen walks you through the process, what to expect during the scan. Before you know it, it's done. Afterwards, Kalen goes through your results in detail, and of course, leaves room for questions at the end. All this is done in about 20-30 and not once did we feel rushed (even though there is an appointment afterwards). You also get an email copy of your DEXA results. The results itself is highly detailed and highlights what your weight consists of (fat tissue vs lean tissue). Now that we have baseline numbers, we can see if our training and conditioning plan will be paying off in the utmost geek manner. Whether you're trying to lose weight or gain more muscle (or both!), this is a great way to find out.

I appreciate that when you bring a problem up, they are very reactive and supportive of testing. That's been nice, they don't ignore your complaint. What I don't appreciate is being told incorrect information, and getting no response from them when I reach out. I.e. I was told to go to a walk-in clinic for a specific test, it needed to be done quickly. I drove to the clinic they suggested, that test is not available there. I then try to call the office and reach out via their portal, and do not get a single response. I get frustrated and just decide to deal with the pain. Ultimately I ended up going elsewhere to take care of my issue. Ultimately, I understand they're busy, most places are, I can look past this. Then the very last time I went, was for a routine visit, in which case, after being checked in and brought to a back room, the person taking my vitals started questioning whether or not my insurance was going to cover my annual visit. I said I believe it would, it usually does (It would have been, I checked with my insurance after this) -- however, instead, they suggested canceling this appointment and making a later appointment in the year because the insurance coverage was unknown. I was now questioning things myself, so I agreed. Before I left, they sent in a very nice woman to have a brief conversation about how my life is doing currently, and that was that. I now see my insurance is being billed over $300 for that. I also owe a balance. Insurance Code 99213. To tell some random person I didn't know that it's hard raising young kids under the age of two. And the weather is nice. Less than 5 minutes. I really want everything to work out at this place, but I am really starting to question things.

I've been wanting to do this again so I'm pleased that this is now available in the Portland metro area! The clinic owner, Jenny, is a colleague of mine (we are both Rolfing(R) Structural Integration practitioners) and I have known her for many years. She cares deeply about really helping people and she's a total professional at making sure that people have a good experience start to finish. The staff who are actually performing the service are great too. I'm seeing Danyelle for my treatments. Super sweet, great conversations, and she's very willing to spend the time to adjust the laser heads to exactly where I want them. After the laser, she does some lymphatic massage to give the body a nudge in clearing out the fat that was released. (Doing movement afterward and drinking lots of water is also helpful!) I haven't met James, the other therapist, but I've heard he is wonderful too. By the way, I'm a fairly slender person but I have a *lot* of cellulite and I always have since I was twelve. So for me, I'm not trying to loose weight or even change my shape, I just want my skin to be smoother and have everything hang better.
