I was not impressed with the caprese salad, not a lot of flavor (and no basil??) and the Cesar salad was fine but for $28 (serves 2), it should have been memorable. I ordered one of the specials. It was absolutely delicious, but make sure you ask what the prices are.... I was the birthday girl so didn't ask the price. It was $100. That's on me though, I didn't ask. My husband, the birthday boy, ordered an extra side of penne with red sauce and it was $20!! We had a baby with us and they charged him $20 for his pasta (with only olive oil) too. That's just rude. The service was definitely lacking tonight. I felt like I spent a lot of time looking for our server. She was also tending the bar. Seemed like it was too much for her. The food is tasty. Some things are better than others like any restaurant but between the very high prices and the inconsistent service, we won't be coming back. I would like to add that the man pouring water and taking the plates was great and very attentive.

I update my comment in response to Mr. Joe D,saw the his review I felt offended and before answering I preferred to see for themselves whether his comments were true! I returned to giuseppe's cafe with my wife for dinner out of curiosity I took the same things that quoted in the comment Mr. Joe salad, clams with spaghetti and lasagna, I state that it is not the first time that we stop at this place but the first time I take this. delicious salad all fresh tomatoes, citrioli etc .. perfectly cooked spaghetti with clams with marinara sauce I can assure you of a eccelleza only in florida !! a lasagna that melted in the mouth (fresh pasta) topped with Bolognese! so I'm not totally agree with Mr. Joe and Fortunately I have not followed his comment to me I would have missed a rare dinner here in florida!If I could add more stars the I would gladly! a small Italian original restaurant welcoming and extremely delicious found here in florida is really rare! I came across Milane thanks to a random video on social media, and decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did. The service is incredibly friendly, everyone there makes you feel welcome, almost like you're visiting family. The food is all made from scratch and you can absolutely taste the difference. My wife had the salmon carbonara, and I ordered the arrabiata. Both dishes were exactly what we were hoping for. I grew up on my grandma's Italian cooking, and Milane hit all the right notes...comforting, flavorful, and made with care. We enjoyed it so much that we came back another night just for dessert. Their limoncello cake is fantastic, refreshing and just sweet enough. Milane feels like a little slice of "nonna's kitchen" right in Boca. It's the kind of place you want to tell your friends about but also want to keep secret. Don't miss out on this gem. Highly recommend! read more

We went for their pre-fixe meal. We stated with Bruschetta Toscana and Cheese Balsamic that was so flavorful. It lead into the Spaghetti Pistachio and Pesto. Pistachio added a sweeter flavor to the pesto. My favorite was the Torta Salata Zucchini & Leeks. Quiche like in texture. So much flavor! I ate this slowly to savor the taste. we then had Chicken and Mushroom Lasagna. A job well done. The dessert was Chocolate Cake with Tiramisu. I would have been happy just with the Tiramisu. The minute you walk in you are immediately transported to a small seaside bistro in Italy. Every dish is cooked to order with lots of fresh ingredients and lots of TLC. Highlights: fresh made pesto, lasagna, spaghetti arrabiata, and branzino limone - which were all Amazing! This place really takes pride in everything they serve you from the appetizers to the deserts. Milane is truly a hidden gem in Boca! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The chef makes everything from scratch, so it takes a little extra time, but trust me, it's worth every bite! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and tasted like authentic, homemade Italian food. I usually order the Pesce al Guazzetto or Pesce alla Livornese with Flounder, and it was honestly the best I've ever had! Did we go to Italy or just South Florida?? You'd think we traveled across an ocean to eat. The food here is so authentic if you close your eyes, you'd think you were in Naples.
