Great food refuge near Crandon Park. Stopped here for a Sunday brunch. There is long waiting but one can skip the line and take a seat at the bar. Really enjoyed spinach ravioli in red sauce with chilled blue moon while watching RMD vs FCB on the screen. Ambience is something between fine dining and that of a sports bar. This is really a must have if you live in Miami. I can't believe it has taken so long for me to visit this place. I took my dog out to bill baggs park and was hoping to find a dog friendly place and just happened to wander over. This is the perfect mix of fine dining and casual outdoor eatery that you can bring your dog to. The staff were super cool about having the dog and brought out water for him in a bowl. Now I've never knew what a milanezza was, they have a huge menu with many options, but I figured if I'm coming to a restaurant called "Milenezza's" I might as well have one. I'm a huge fan of Veal Parmesan and Chicken Parm and all that, but this is really the next logical step in that direction: multiple types of meat deep fried with various options as toppings. Some are more like a pizza while others are more like a bruschetta. I came up with a business idea to make these around college towns to sell to all the late night drunk kids and stoners. Little did I know that I'd find one of the best bartenders in Miami and as someone who has worked in the service industry for 10+ years -- that says a lot! Milanezza's very own bartender, Andrea Blumer, impressed me with her attention to detail, customer service, and passion. Her Moscow Mule was refreshing and every time she made me a new one they remained consistent which was definitely appreciated. The Lasagna was mouth-watering, delicious, and homemade. First of all I want to say that our server, Tiffany, was excellent. She was very attentive to our requests and her personality was a delight. Friendly, professional and understanding. We all ordered Milanezza of various styles. The oil used to deep fry the meat tasted slightly old, as though it should have been changed for fresh oil. Perhaps baked would have been a better option, but it took an additional 25 minutes to bake. The sauce was delicious and the beef was good quality. The Caesar salad was only so so, typical with premade dressing. Next time I will try the house salad. I was very disappointed in the wine selection. We ordered the house Malbec by the glass, which was very good. However, when we tried to buy a bottle of it, suddenly it was not available and the next glass was a slightly short pour, with the explanation that there was no more. It was fine *shrug*. The park was at capacity and closed briefly so we stopped in to grab some food and drinks while we waited for it to reopen and it was adequate. Seating outside is mostly on asphalt so it's quite hot with the heat radiating off the black surface, although they try to combat it with the shades which are luckily plentiful. The food was average - we had the calamari, brie surprise, and spinach buneulos. The buneulos were good and very cheesy, brie surprise was basically brie in a puff pastry with some apricot and almonds which was good but very small. The calamari was definitely one to skip - on the more disappointing end of calamari I've eaten in my life. And granted we were in tshirts and shorts planning to head to the beach but the waitstaff didn't seem to really care we were there. Prices are actually reasonable for the area, the one plus side. Food was excellent! We ordered the Charles that comes with cheddar and bacon with a side of fries (total $19). The fries were so fresh and crispy ! My absolute favorite! Before that they brought us their bread with their famous garlic butter. The first batch wasn't warm but they offered us more and the second batch was nice and warm! The service was great too! Our server brought us extra plates without us having to ask because he knew we were sharing a plate. The service is fantastic. They open the door for you. They make sure you constantly have water. They give you recommendations when you don't know what to order. They give their opinion (I would get an extra side if you guys are sharing a plate). I was very pleased with how we were treated. Let me start by saying food was delicious! Definitely get the milanezze plates. That's their signature dish and definitely their best. Along with the lychee martini. Downside: the service. I'm sorry to say because the food and drinks are great but service is no bueno. They messed up our order and we asked for water And we were never brought any. We saw our waitress once the entire 2 hours there. We complained to the manager and he said he would take care of it. We waited another 45 minutes to get the waters and the bill. I do appreciate he discounted the bill but better service would have been a better experience. I do hope this improves if we make it out another time! read more

Drove by this place, saw the cute atmosphere it had and made my partner stop so we can eat there. The food was great, and the service from our waiter was awesome. The only thing that turned me off from this place was the service I received from the host, who I think was the manager, which honestly made me want to leave and not come back. Upon arrival, the porch area with umbrellas was pretty empty- the reason I wanted to go was to sit there since it was nice outside and looked super cute. The person at the front sat me by the door and when I asked to sit on the porch he said it was only for people with reservations and that they were booked. So I go online and of course they have open reservations for the next few hours. I book one for 3:45, and say hey I made a reservation so do I get to sit there now? And he seemed annoyed, upset and angry to walk me over there to sit. He made the whole experience miserable and made me feel like I wasn't welcomed.
