I am Argentino, the parilla argentina was horrible. The meat came out quickly within 5 minutes. You can tell the meat was cooked quickly with high heat and a dirty grill, the meat was burned on the outside and pink on the inside. I could have cooked better meat with my eyes closed and no hands. I had lunch on Tuesday afternoon and the service was terrible. Amanda never returned to our table until I flagged her down to get the check. She never came back to see how the food was or ask if we needed anything else. She walked by several times and ignored us every time. I'm a local and have gone to this restaurant many times. Is it possible to review a restaurant that I've personally never tried? Is it possible to judge management by their actions? Does goodness still exist in the world? ..... We (my wife of 35 years and I) live in the Grove, but drive by this restaurant at least 4 times a month and had never tried it. Today, I found out that they have secretly been feeding the two most important women in our lives; my 92 y.o. Mother and my 87 y.o. mother-in-law (both KB Residents) with a special meal program during the COVID crisis. My understanding is that the ginger-carrot soup and lasagna are excellent! This is an absolutely amazing spot. The food is always delicious, we've tried about every milanezza on the menu and you can't go wrong (aside from the Brie Milanezza - not that I wasn't good, just the texture and type of cheese didn't seem to mix for me). Sunday evenings, Saturday evenings, and weekday evenings, I can assure you'll find a table. The restaurant isn't too full and it's not loud, family friendly and at times we take our pup with us- till now they've allowed us to sit out side with our pup (which is much appreciated). Casual attire. I the appetizers are delicious, we order the dates wrapped in bacon, the grilled octopus and Brie, truly never fails. I can assure you, anything you order you won't be disappointed. This place is really a hit or miss. Sometimes food is good, while others not. I had a flan as a dessert, and it was the worst flan I ever had. It tasted watery and not creamy at all. Also, it was accompanied by a chunk of really hard dulce de leche ("repostero" in spanish) which is not good for having with flan. How come you can make a flan taste like water? such a mystery. As a person who lives on the key for more than ten years, we eat out often. This is a place a see all the time on my way to pick up a pizza at the best place on the Key ( Sir pizza ). I see it not filled but always with a nice flow of customers. So I was always curious about the place. I finally made my way to sample the restaurant. I always like to mingle with the staff so I sit at the bar and chat with the bar tenders and the staff. I must say they were all very pleasant and I felt completely comfortable and I enjoyed the Argentine atmosphere. When it came time order I asked the waiter for recommendations and I decided on the seafood fettuccine. The food was not good, lacking flavor and cold. Not a good first experience. But I kept see movement and a nice flow of customers so I decided to give it another go. This time I ordered the traditional and name sake Milanezza. I figured it has to be good. To my complete surprise it wasn't. It tasted like it was fried in old oil. So disappointed. I must be missing something. Outside of the great service and nice atmosphere I don't get it. Maybe I will try one more time, but for now, I can only give three stars for service and atmosphere. read more

I read another review that said, "very kids friendly" (their words) If kid friendly means you can leave your kids unsupervised across the restaurant where you can't here them but everyone else can, it's very kid friendly. We raised 6 kids, we love children. This was 10 kids running around, knocking down chairs, swinging around our umbrella base, while parents sat enjoying wine. Had the nerve to come take a picture of them at one point. We politely asked to b reseated early but was were assured they were paying their bill and leaving. They were just getting started and continued drinking wine. We asked the manager 5 times to please do something about it. We finally boxed our $300 meal, corked our $125 bottle of wine and left. It's appalling that the manager was unwilling to deal with a difficult situation with parents to protect the other customers. And whoever left these soccer boys unattended to ruin our meal, shame on you. That's how you raise shitty kids! read more

i just went to Milanezza Kitchen Bar Market, and there are so many amazing things about the place. first of all, the restaurant itself is so beautiful and the decorations are beautiful! the food was absolutely delicious. i adored every single thing i tried, and i am convinced that there isn't a single bad item on the menu. everything was amazing quality, extremely fresh, and overall just delicious. this food brought amazing honor to argentinien cuisine! lastly, what made me want to write this review was the waiter we had, Carlos. Mr. Carlos was extremely kind and very patient, as we had a 5 year old at the table. he always had a very warm, genuine, and welcoming smile, he was just so patient and sweet, and just genuinely a very kind and hardworking gentleman. he made sure to interact with all of us at the table, and treated us with utmost respect and joy. he had an amazing energy at all times, and i am so glad we got served by him. we contributed to give Mr. Carlos a nice tip, and he took the time to talk to us and shake each of our hands for it. he is such a good, hardworking, genuine soul, meeting Mr. Carlos made my whole day. i would definitely go here if you can! read more

We had lunch today, Sunday with family and friends. I gave the 3 stars because the food was good and the waitress tried to do the best. The manager didn't handle the situation well... he should come at the beginning telling us the delay in the kitchen and we could decide if we stay or not. . It was full inside, we sat outside in the area which was parking. They had 2 fans for 10 tables! Not enough under 37C / 90F.. We ordered an appetizer (burrada muzzarela with procciuto) and our entrees. 50 minutes later nothing came ... we asked what happened and they brought the appetizer, late but delicious! We asked for the manager, because the kids were starving .. the manager came with the entrees, everything was good, one of the skirt meat (entrana) was raw... they took it and 10 min later came again with the meat cooked. The manager said that was a caos in the kitchen with yoo many customers but we saw people who came later than us eating before us! My coworkers and I loved this place - so glad it opened on Key Biscayne. We started with drinks: Gaby got a Moscow Mule, appropriately served in a copper cup, Maggie got the Strawberry Caipiroskas, and I went with a cosmo. The Caipiroska was delicious, served with mulled pieces of strawberries and just the right amount of lime and fizz. Gaby's Mule was equally refreshing and chilled thanks to the cup. We were all fairly hungry, so we ordered the brie croquettes served atop a fig marmalade. The shell was light and crispy and the inside was warm and gooey - delicious. As for the restaurant's signature dishes, the Milanezza, you have your choice of baked or fried steak, chicken or fish, and they come in small or large portions. Opt for the small unless you're sharing or plan on eating leftovers. I went with the Francesca: breaded steak with mozzarella, Kalamatta olives, cherry tomatoes, several prosciutto rolls, and arugula. Maggie got the chicken Amelie, which had brie, sun dried tomatoes and arugula. Gaby got the Celia, which had tomato, buffalo mozzarella and basil. The breading on all three was nicely done, perfectly crispy and not greasy. The restaurant had several TVs broadcasting the Sony Ericsson game, which helped give it a relaxed lounge feel. Stopped in for lunch with a friend on our way back to Miami and we were completely blown away by the food, the atmosphere, and the service! I wish I could remember the name of our server because he was phenomenal. We started off with the calamari which was quite different than what we are used to. It's thin, but still good. The presentation of the food really sets this place apart from the other surrounding restaurants in the area. I got the spinach ravioli which was super tasty and the perfect portion. At the end of your meal, they bring you a carousel with lollipops to choose from, which is a cute touch. Highly recommend! read more

This is a solid lunch spot in KB. We had the fish with just tomatoes and mozzarella and then the chicken (and cannot recall the style). Both were quite good if mostly fried and not particularly healthy. You can get baked versions if you have a little more time which we did not. These are large plates so bring your appetite. The mashed butternut squash was also really nice--not a lot of butter or cream (if any). read more

I LOVE the set up and the vibe - from the menu to the wall art, it's a very nice designed restaurant. The food is good. Not much variation on the menu, but I liked what I ordered the first time enough to re order: stuffed dates & salmon salad. Also the passion fruit dessert is delicious! My only not so great thing to say about the place is they may need to work on their staff a little. Both times I visited the service was mediocre. The second time the waiter completely forgot to enter my appetizer, and brought it out only after I brought it to his attention(twice) and after my main course. A free dessert was offered, but that's no real compensation to order of food. Maybe screen your staff a little more and I can return and award the 5th star! read more
