Shrimp Milano ( i added pepper before the photo was taken)

I had their #1 item: Shrimp Milano and was delicious! Lightly breaded with just enough seasoning. The angel hair pasta that was served with it was in a delightful yet light butter garlic sauce. The hot rolls were tasty and right from the oven, so butter melted on them immediately. The lunch portion came with a super fresh salad. Our book club got a private room. The waiter handled our separate checks without any confusion. Our waiter added little spots of humor and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Plenty of parking. Full bar. Tea and water refills came regularly. Only down side today - the restrooms were out of order.

They host a wonderful lunch in their party room to rest and they have a fixed menu for these type of events. We real enjoy having our volunteer lunch ins here and appreciate their consistent service and food! Very prompt and delicious! They are accommodating and attentive!

The Italian margarita is amazing! Highlight of our dinner here...

We decided to stop in here at the last minute for dinner last night. There was a lot of people, but luckily we were able to get a table right away. They have a piano player playing live, which is awesome. We started with the Italian margaritas, which is one of the best drinks I've ever had in my life! So good! They started us with bread, but it was a little bit stiff. And then we had to wait a while for our food. That was a little bit disappointing because we were both pretty hungry. Lasagna but I thought it could've been a little bit better. My wife really enjoyed he chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but would've enjoyed it more if we didn't have to wait so long to get it. All in all and above experience with good drinks, but could've been a bit better to be honest.

Stopped in for lunch one recent Saturday with some friends for my first visit to Milano on Wurzbach. First off - our server Alex was AMAZING from start to finish. She had great attention to detail, impeccable customer service, and was super fun to talk and interact with. (she's a real asset for the establishment!) I ordered the Mustard Chicken lunch special for my entree with penne pasta on the side. Between the warm bread service and the house salad (OMG can we talk about how delicious the house dressing is?) I was already feeling a bit full by the time everyone's food came out super quick and with VERY generous portions. My mustard chicken was soooo good and the lemon garlic butter sauce that topped the noodles was the stuff dreams are made of. My friend next to me who ordered the chicken piccata let me try some of her dish and I'll be darned if it wasn't delicious too! My other friend went with the chicken parmesan but she said it was too good and she wasn't sharing. :) I had plenty left over for dinner the next day. I'll definitely be stopping back in soon!

spaghetti marinara with a giant meatball definitely took some home! was delicious along with the salad

went last week for a lunch party group of 10 : seated at a perfect spot where we could visit without disturbing other patrons Eric, our waiter was superb. Everyone loved the food many got the shrimp. Will definitely return. wonderful setting.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I ordered the Shrimp Milano. The starter salad was delicious! The dressing was divine. Our server was awesome! Great service. Our entree was perfect. The best part was that I stayed chatting with our family friend for an extra hour and they didn't boot us. We lost track of time! Thank you for your excellent food and service. Perfect for conversation. I want to come back and try the Chicken Picatta!

    Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine was good, just as I remember. We went on a weekday and it was pretty empty and quiet to have a nice conversation.

This is a more established restaurant. They give fresh bread and butter, this time bread wasn't as warm or fresh as I've had before. Dinner salad was fresh with a tasty house dressing. The shrimp Milano was decent but didn't stand out for the price point of this restaurant. Chicken fettuccine was ok. In all the experience was at best mediocre. Typically food is a lot more impressive.

I started with a Hugo spritz, which was light, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted to kick things off. Later, I had a carajillo, and it was just as perfect--smooth, rich, and a great way to wind down the night. We couldn't get enough of the burrata... so much so that we ordered two! It was incredibly creamy and paired so well with the fresh toppings and bread. Definitely a must-order. And of course, we had to end with dessert--the tiramisu was unbelievably creamy and indulgent, with just the right balance of sweetness and espresso flavor. Absolute perfection. Between the cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and delicious food, Renzo's is such a gem. Highly recommend for a chill night out or happy hour with friends!

Our server kept everything organized, drinks refilled, and plates coming out smoothly without anyone feeling rushed. Everyone in our group felt really well taken care of, which made the whole evening relaxed and fun. The food was just as impressive. Truly every person at the table seemed to love what they ordered -- we had a lot of "you have to try this!" moments being passed around the table. One thing I especially appreciated was the Caesar salad. I noticed another review mentioning the anchovy flavor in the dressing as a negative, but in my opinion, that's exactly what made it great. For me a Caesar should have that briny anchovy depth, and this one tasted freshly made and perfectly balanced. It felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Between the warm atmosphere, truly fantastic service, and food that everyone enjoyed, it made for a really memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back! Thank you Renzo's for taking such great care of us!

Not too hot, just that easy breeze rolling off the river like it's got nowhere else to be. I'm there with my daughter and family, and the world's walking by boats cruising, people laughing, a little chaos, a little charm... dinner and a show, no ticket required. Now the food real Italian food. Not the kind that just throws red sauce at you and hopes for the best. This is layered. Garlic that actually means something. Rich, buttery sauces clinging to perfectly cooked pasta like they're in a lifelong commitment. You taste herbs, you taste depth it's the kind of Italian food that makes you slow down mid-bite and just nod like, "Yeah... they got this right." Drinks? Smooth enough to keep ordering, strong enough to make you question your life choices in the best way. Service was dialed in. Nobody missing, nobody stressed just right there when you needed them, like they were reading your mind or watching you a little too closely... either way, it worked. And the atmosphere? That's where it gets dangerous. Because you sit there watching the River Walk roll by, the noise, the laughter, the movement... and suddenly two hours disappear. You're ordering dessert you didn't plan on, another drink you don't need, and nobody at the table's in a hurry to leave. I came for Italian food... ...and ended up staying for everything else.

The ambience within the premises is also lovely with that of a cellar vibe, low lighting (at night) and of course the water which works well. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Menu-The menu was quite extensive. However, would not normally attend a place this pricey, but it was a special occasion & you tend get what you pay for. Meals- We ordered the Capellini Pomodoro Crudo & the Spaghetti ( Spicy ) The red sauce is delicious on the spaghetti. The Crudo, it was a little disappointing. It hardly had any roasted tomatoes in it and large chunks of mozzarella that never melted. The olive oil was very present & not much else. Would have been better tossed with some of that spicy tomato sauce! (see pics). Note-Advise you to make a reservation! We were fortunate: as we went late in the evening, no wait time, seated outside & they were still fairly busy. The restaurant offers a private cruise dining $ experience. So we went online and made a reservation. Upon arrival, we had a large round table set for 10 ready for us. Our waiter, Rami, was really nice and worked hard all evening to take good care of us. The restaurant itself is along a quiet area of the River Walk in an old stone building with tons of charm. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a group dinner. As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. I was excited for the Goat Cheese Pizza with balsamic onion, pistachio, and saba. The thin crust, however, was almost too crunchy and a bit tough to eat. The toppings didn't stand out as much as I had hoped, likely because they were overbaked together. Overall, we had a lovely dinner with great service, a charming atmosphere, and good - but not great - food. 4 stars for now. I would return and try again.

However we realized quickly EVERYONE was waiting outside and they had clearly overbooked or had some issue. Finally, after waiting 20 minutes we were sat. The waittress was kind and let us know the kitchen was having some issues so food would be a little delayed between courses. It was about 60 degrees outside and we kindly asked to turn off the outside fans which were on full blast. Once. Then again, and again, and again. After 5 attempts asking various people we gave up and the waitress let us know she couldnt turn them off because their iPad control died. We werent upset at this we were just upset we kept getting different answers and no explanation for our entire 2+ hr meal. We finished the entree and were waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes until we finally just flagged down a waittress and asked to get the check and desert to go because we were ready to leave. We waited another 10 minutes before someone else brought us our desert but no check. We asked them for the check and then the original waitress came back with our check and another set of deserts. At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. Would have appreciated more effort into making sure we were taken care of considering the meal for 2 totaled almost 300$. The only reason this isn't a one star is because of the kind waiting staff.

As far as the food, we had the fried mozzarella, which was essentially a log of cheese deep-fried and served over sauce. It was delicious, but the cheese-to-crust ratio was a bit heavy. The Caesar salad looked better than it tasted. It was very wet, if that makes sense, and the lettuce seemed soggy. Now for the Wagyu ragu. This almost made me have a seizure, and not in a good way. It was extremely salty and completely inedible, so we had to send it back. The waitstaff was very accommodating and agreed that the salt level was way off, so we replaced it with the carbonara. I'm not sure if that's what authentic carbonara is supposed to taste like, but I did not enjoy it. It tasted burnt to me and had too much pepper. I also didn't care for the shape of the noodles. Last, we had the Americano pizza. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. I just think that if you're going to advertise a pizza with meat on it, there should be more than one piece of sausage per slice. As far as the service, our server was fine. Not particularly friendly, but straightforward and efficient. The manager (or another server) was helpful when it came to replacing our dish. Overall, I would not go back. The location is great and the vibe is nice, but the food was a miss. Save your money and go somewhere else.
