Came here for a birthday dinner for a friend and had a great night. We got the garlic rolls, mussels, burrata, and 3 different pizzas - pepperoni, margherita, and spicy salami. The garlic rolls are amazing. We had to keep ordering more and more for the table. The mussels were delicious and the soup they were in was even better. The burrata was okay in my opinion, but the bread that came with it was sooooo good. All of the pizzas were great. My favorite was the margherita. Our server kept our waters full and checked on us, but the wait was about 30 minutes for the pizzas, which sucked a little. We were seated outside, which was pretty cold. I think if they added heating elements outside it would have made it more enjoyable. All in all, we still had a great time and the food was great. I would come back here.

Been eyeing Primo's for lunch for a while and finally got to try it out. There's no dedicated parking spots for Primo's so you'll have to park on the street. Keep that in mind if visiting during busy weekends. We came Wednesday around 1pm and it was not busy. Service was friendly and quick. They don't have fountain drinks , just cans and bottles. They have a lunch special which includes a 12" pizza with a salad. Both were huge- I was shocked at the size of both. Salad was good, pizza was good. Ok flavor- not the best pizza ever but still good. Wish I had gotten one of their pasta dishes instead but next time for sure. The restaurant is small but quaint. Enjoyed our visit, would like to try different menu items. Give it a try.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now. We went in a group of four girls. We enjoyed brunch on a Sunday. It wasn't busy, but they do take reservations. We shared all of our food. I started off with their limoncello Margarita. It was citrusy and refreshing. We shared the calamari and the burrata. The calamari was seasoned well. It comes with a garlic aïoli. The burrata was delicious. We all loved it. It came with tomatoes, Peruvian, teardrops, and salami. The bread that it came with was delicious. For our meal, we shared the margarita pizza, the Parmesan chicken sandwich, the Primo's breakfast and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The Margarita pizza had a thin crust and was cheesy and tasty. The Primo's breakfast was excellent with sausage, eggs made your way in breakfast potatoes. Everyone thought the chicken Parmesan sandwich was the best. The mozzarella was gooey and it had enough marinara, but not too much to make it soggy. The lemon ricotta pancakes were a hit. We ate them as our dessert. They came with blueberries. No syrup needed for these pancakes. We were celebrating Galentine so we ended up staying to share a bottle of Prosecco after our lunch. We didn't feel like we were rushed and our waiter was very nice. Parking is available as street parking, but they do not have a designated parking lot.

This was our first time here. Cute place! The drinks were very flavorful as well as the pizza. I am not usually a fan of the calamari that is like sticks but these were cut small and so very tender. The aioli was delicious. This restaurant will definitely go in our rotation. Staff was amazing and attentive.

New restaurant where our old favorite Cookhouse used to be. I made reservations just in case Friday nights were busy. Despite having reservations, we still had to wait for a table. With the wait, we ordered some alcoholic beverages. The restaurant seemed like it was lacking coordination in service. Once seated, I ordered the calamari that came with fried olives and onions. Very delicious! For mains, I ordered the scallops tagliatelle and my husband got the pork porterhouse. Tagliatelle was on point with the texture, but flavors were pretty mundane. My husband enjoyed his porterhouse and didnt share. He said it was good! Outside of the service, I would say the food was pretty decent.

My first time going to Primos during lunch for my sisters birthday & it was so lovely! The atmosphere & ambiance was very nice. Our server was so friendly, gave good recommendations & made sure everything was perfect. We started off with the focaccia appetizer & it was delicious! The bread was light & fluffy, matched perfectly with the cheese & meat. The main courses did not disappoint, the fresh made pasta was cooked to perfection & the flavor was amazing. The sandwich was nice & crispy & the garlic knot was perfect. The pizza was delicious & was good for sharing! Will be back!

Recommend: No Food: We went for brunch and ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich and Big boy pizza. We also ordered the Foccacia and Steam Mussles. The dishes were ok, nothing spectacular or that stood out. For that reason, we found that the price was too expensive. Service: The service was great. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Ambiance: very cute restaurant, quiet, and intimate.

Had a lovely birthday dinner at Primo's! It was our first time trying it out and the whole table agreed that it was nothing short of amazing. The service and ambiance really made it that much more enjoyable. Caleb was so attentive and kind, I would highly recommend getting seated with him! We started with some cocktails (limoncello margarita) and some apps (arancini & focaccia). Both were delicious and pretty good portions. For our entrees, we had the scallop tagliatelle, porterhouse, and supreme pizza. All 3 were fantastic and again, pretty generous portions. To finish, we had the flourless chocolate cake and it was also delicious! All in all, a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic food! Service was great. We got the Arancini, scallop tagliatelle and the supremo pizza. Sadly they were out of the burrata. But the other 3 items were delicious. Dessert was a must have. The browned butter cake was fantastic as well as the tiramisu.

In the spot that once housed NOLA and Cookhouse, Primo's brings a fresh start to the established space. The menu is Italian inspired, but with more creative options like a scallop tagliatelle in basil cream sauce and cheese ravioli with brown butter and asparagus. The chefs focus on quality not quantity is appreciated with respect for each dish. A house focaccia served with whipped ricotta and honey drizzle offered the perfect blend of sweetness with savory. The meal rounded off with some kind of brown butter cake that was warm and melty in the center topped with vanilla ice cream. Plenty of wines and drinks along with a cozy vibe.

We decided to try out this new restaurant that we saw on social media. It was great! We booked last minute reservations and were sat outside, they had fans going so it was bearable, but I would recommend trying to sit inside, if possible (the restaurant is on the smaller side, so I can see it filling up very quickly). Our server was very attentive and had great recommendations for us. Their drink menu was a fun twist on classic cocktails, I got the aperol spritz like drink and it was sweet and yummy. We started off with the meatballs and calamari as an appetizer. The sauce on the meatballs was great, I wish I could have had bread to accompany it (one downfall, no free bread like most Italian restaurants offer). The calamari was served and thick pieces, so the breading to calamari ratio was great, not too much breading per bite. For our main entrees, we split the cheese ravioli and a pizza. The cheese ravioli filling was superb, and the sauce had a semi sweet taste to it, definitely not like a normal cheese ravioli you would expect. The pizza was a little above average, nothing spectacular but better than your common takeout pizza. Another call out is that it is in the pricier side for Italian. However, I would definitely recommend coming here as it was a great experience! We'll be back soon to try out some of the brunch menu items!

    Tuscan Soup

Flavors were spot on, The vibe and atmosphere are excellent as well. Started with the Tuscan Soup and had the Sweet Potato Ravioli as my entree ! Everything was amazing! Can't wait to dine with them again. Do yourself a favor and check them out

Truly every person at the table seemed to love what they ordered -- we had a lot of "you have to try this!" moments being passed around the table. One thing I especially appreciated was the Caesar salad. I noticed another review mentioning the anchovy flavor in the dressing as a negative, but in my opinion, that's exactly what made it great. The restaurant itself is along a quiet area of the River Walk in an old stone building with tons of charm. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a group dinner. As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. I was excited for the Goat Cheese Pizza with balsamic onion, pistachio, and saba. The thin crust, however, was almost too crunchy and a bit tough to eat. The toppings didn't stand out as much as I had hoped, likely because they were overbaked together. It was about 60 degrees outside and we kindly asked to turn off the outside fans which were on full blast. Once. Then again, and again, and again. After 5 attempts asking various people we gave up and the waitress let us know she couldnt turn them off because their iPad control died. We werent upset at this we were just upset we kept getting different answers and no explanation for our entire 2+ hr meal. We finished the entree and were waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes until we finally just flagged down a waittress and asked to get the check and desert to go because we were ready to leave. We waited another 10 minutes before someone else brought us our desert but no check. We asked them for the check and then the original waitress came back with our check and another set of deserts. At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. This time I took it easy and only enjoyed a carpaccio and a Cesar salad but still left overly satisfied. I have to say this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST CARPACCIO I'VE EVER HAD. The Cesar dressing, lemon zest, parm, and fried capers really amplified the experience and had me lusting after this dish long after I left. The Cesar Salad was also amazing. Mine had a little more red onion than I care for but the dressing, ample amounts of parm, and the croutons really outshined that small detail for me. I enjoyed this experience so much that I'm already planning on coming back sometime next week, this time with company so I can check out the pizza & pasta too. I think it's an honorable mention to point out their seasonal pizza for the month of May, it's a collaboration with Best Quality Daughter, another stand out concept located at the pearl.

We still have not dined in, but ordered delivery for the second time and the pizza is amazing even…read moreas delivery! We got two kids cheese pizzas which was totally demolished by 4 kids. We love the Spicy Boy and the Americano was fantastic. Great place to get delivery and cute branding with the limoncello themed yellow and white stripes
