We were looking for a great Italian restaurant that delivers and were so happy to find Albi's Vite Italian Kitchen! One thing we really appreciated was being able to order directly through their website instead of using a third-party delivery service. The food was outstanding! We ordered the Beef Lasagna, Seared Red Shrimp, and my wife's favorite, Albi's Shrimp. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bread was also amazing--we enjoyed it so much that we'll be asking if we can order some by itself next time! Overall, we were very impressed with the quality, taste, and fair pricing. It was my second time to Albi's Vite and I have to say both times were top notch! The redfish plate is amazing, flavorful, nice and hot to the table. The service was also great. Our waitress Shay S was on top of everything! The bread with olive oil served as soon as you sit down is a winner. The pastas are cooked to perfection. I do feel a need to knock the Caprese salad as it fell short on presentation with uninspiring tomatoes. This is a cozy place to have a nice sit down dinner with a romantic ambiance. It was sooo good! Hubby and I went out the night before, and I have to admit we were a little hungover --so when we woke up, we wanted pasta. It was everything I dreamed of lol I ordered the "Marry Me Chicken," and the portion was a lot for me. I haven't had much of an appetite lately so I had the rest for dinner! The waiter even sent us home with fresh baked bread, which my husband and I absolutely devoured with our leftovers The Marry Me Chicken had a little kick to it--I wasn't expecting that, but I liked it! I'm definitely going to look up the recipe and try making it at home. As far as the ambiance, the place wasn't very busy, and the lights were dimmed--mind you, it was only 1pm! I order from here fairly often. I haven't made it in yet, but my daughter loves pasta and is also allergic to gluten. They have a gluten free option, which is great for us. I've ordered several different dishes. I like the linguine and clams as well as their different soups. The Italian wedding soup is probably my favorite because they don't skimp on the ingredients. Occasionally they run a bogo spaghetti dinner which is a great deal on a weeknight when you're in a rush. read more

We came in to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary on a Friday night and had a phenomenal experience! It was a lively atmosphere with live music planning, a backed bar area and a humming dining room. We were given the corner "power" booth and really felt cozy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our server JT was a sweetheart and did a great job. Our meal started with two appetizers: the Calamari & Meatballs. Both were fantastic and really set the tone of what this place is. The Calamari was perfectly executed - seasoned well and not overcooked. The meatballs were phenomenal and full of balanced flavor, due in part to the heavenly red sauce they were swimming in. These are a must try! We then enjoyed Ceasar salads before our entrees and really enjoyed the balance and flavor they offered. Simple and delicious. The entrees were outstanding! * My wife ordered the Noli's Sautéed Chicken, featuring a sautéed chicken breast and cappellini pasta with basil, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, olives in a white wine lemon sauce. A lighter plate with a fragrant touch, she really enjoyed the combination of flavors. * I went with JT's recommendation and chose the Prime Surf 'N' Turf...this was amazing! A 12oz Ribeye cooked medium rare, topped with two huge fried shrimp, accompanied by a rich and delicious lobster vodka sauce under perfectly baked ravioli. If you are spoiling yourself, this is the choice for you! We can't wait to get back to Albi's Vite and make more memories. In the meantime, you deserve to go make your own! read more

Craving Italian, found a place. Didn't expect it to have a more fine dining/romantic vibe, but love it! There's live music with saxophone, very lovely. We went for the full courses minus desserts. Tried the gnocchi, very tasty and fresh, you have to get it. The soups were surprisingly great, we had lobster bisque and Italian weddings magnificent. The main course, I had the white clams pasta, it was decent though my stomach felt uncomfortable end of the day. However, chicken parm made up for it, must order. My Italian Trio, right amount - Spiced Lasagna was very, very good - Fettuccine Alfredo a bland, Chicken Parmigiana, ok; group of 4, no real complaints from my 3 codiners. Service - servers new, a bit rushed refilling drinks & taking plates away before plate was finished, servers just need to slow down, only saying this to improve, serving is like an Orchestra playing music - tuesday evening was great, not crowded - ambiance 4 star, except wobbly table. The complimentary breads were divine, baked and seasoned perfectly, one had nice garlic notes and the olive oil was mild making the combination amazing. The Sausage Arribiatta was savory with a little heat very enjoyable dish. The Chicken Piccatta was moist the capers were tangy and the angel hair pasta was prepared just right! For a Sunday lunch the restaurant was quite and the music was not too loud. Definitely be back to try other menu selections and maybe next time a cocktail. I really enjoyed the Mango Tea. read more

I am not a big fan of Italian food. Every once in a while I enjoy a bowl of pasta and meatballs. This restaurant is close to the Dominion so I thought it would be super fancy! Believe it or not the pasta actually came with the meatballs and very reasonably priced with a lot of pasta on the plate! Also the taste was delicious. It really hit the spot! I really wanted to like this place, but the food just wasn't good. I booked a reservation on open table and read the yelp reviews. It seemed like a winner. The server was very polite and the inside of the restaurant had nice ambiance. The outside look doesn't match and I was a little hesitant when we pulled up. I also noticed some kind of musty odor when we first walked in but I was still holding out hope. The salad with avocado was good (minus the generic Italian dressing). The bread looked great but was only so so on flavor. What killed it for me was the entrees...I ordered the carbonara (which I have cooked at home and eaten other places on many occasions) and it just tasted awful. It looked ok, but the sauce didn't taste anything like carbonara and the pancetta was so salty I started to wonder if it was past its prime. My husband had the redfish and said it was dry (despite being drowned in lemon sauce) and that the sauce was just overpowering. Again, the hard thing was that everything looked great, it just didn't taste good. I also visited the restroom while there and it was clean enough but no paper towels and no hand dryers so I had to use toilet paper. Overall, this place was a bust for me. read more

Went with a large party to celebrate her birthday. Staff was friendly as soon as we arrived and very attentive. We went to the location off 410 but would normally go to the Leon Springs location. There were mixed reviews from the group on their food so trying to summarize: some of the plates needed salt, Marsala with different proteins were ordered and 1 dish had more mushrooms than the other, bread was amazing. Waitress was a little slow, ordered a margarita (only 1 on the menu) she came back twice to ask what kind and flavor, came back again to tell us they only have 1 option. Refills on drinks were a little slow. I think given the size of our party may have contributed but my husband and I really enjoyed our food. We will give it another try for sure. read more

I took my mom here last night for her birthday and we were very pleased with the food and customer service. I got the Lobster Ravioli and my mom got the Chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious and our server was amazing at timing out the meal and keeping our waters refilled. Everyone seemed to be helping each other through out the restaurant, which we love to see! What a beautiful restaurant tucked in a strip mall by HEB. Food was ok, had the marry me chicken ( I like mine better- not a lot of chicken here). Hubby had the chicken parm. It was ok. I have been twice now. Our group Sons of the American Revolution meets here monthly. I have brought my family and everyone had a great meal. The first time I had Lobster Raviolis and the second time veal Marsala. Both were delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant and the server both times was very attentive. I was initially attracted to giving Albi's a try when I was bombarded with facebook ads for their happy hour earlier this year. The ads made it seem inviting and reasonably priced. So today I stopped in. The place seemed upscale, so I was eager to start with a glass of wine for happy hour. Unfortunately, only the worst sort of plonk is served at happy hour prices (Sutter Home and Frontier/Frontera wines), so I went for the beer which was no great bargain. Then I ordered the fried ravioli appetizer special. Again, no bargain. Six bucks, six mini-ravioli. Seeing no bargains on the menu at all, I went for the pizza. My pleasant, efficient server promised the pizza was made in house. It was decent and was enough for two meals. The server recommended the house made limoncello cake for dessert. It was very good and the highlight of the meal. I really like Italian-style food and am always on the lookout for a new place to try. Albi's just did not live up to its own hype nor to my expectations and so I see no reason to go out of my way again to dine there. read more

We used to enjoy going to Albi's in Leon Springs and were a regular customer, but the quality of the food has gone down lately. Had a piccata dish and the pasta was stuck together in a ball. The shrimp we got had a very fishy smell and did not seem fresh. Then they overcharged me for a dish and when I brought it to their attention, they said they would credit it on my credit card, but they never did. The owners have been opening new restaurants and I think they have taken their eye off this one. Too bad. read more

We have heard good things about Albi's! We ordered online 2 pizzas. Margherita and pepperoni. I also added a house salad. Our order was ready for pick up in 15 min, which was great. The restaurant looked like it had a good crowd for a Friday night. The salad was crisp and delicious! The pizza crust was great on the pizza, you could tell it was homemade. Sauce was great and the mozzarella on the Margherita was good. The drizzle of balsamic was different, i think I prefer it not to be on the pizza though. The food and atmosphere were pretty good. The hostess and wait staff were also nice. I was happy to save half of my ravioli for later, and we started to leave. When I got to my car just outside, I realized that I'd left my box of food on the table. I helped my friend into the car and went back in to get my food. This had been a couple of minutes. They weren't closed yet. They'd thrown my food away immediately. When I was able to get the busser's attention (which took a minute) he nonchalantly told me yes he'd tossed my food without the slightest hint of concern. Never mind a "sorry we thought you'd left" or anything else whatsoever. Yes, I forgot my own food and yes, I'm sure the busser is within his rights to toss my food as soon as I leave the table... but I've never (ever) had a restaurant do that, especially with such an utter lack of concern for customer care. read more

Every time we go here for lunch or dinner, the food is consistently fantastic. I try not to eat the bread that is served for free, but I can't resist dipping mornings olive oil! I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant, which appears to have great reviews due to its service, ambiance, and food. This purchase was done as a gift. When my brother (the receiver of the gift) attempted to use it, he had to go through some upselling through the Groupon site, then it wouldn't allow him to redeem what hadn't ever been redeemed. He even went so far as to reach out to their customer service where after quite some time, nothing was accomplished. He was unable to dine at this establishment because they refunds the use of this. This is more of a review against Groupon, but this restaurant did sell this through them, which has obviously reflected poorly on them. Unfortunately, my brother couldn't dine at this establishment and I'll be refraining from doing further business with Groupon because of it. read more
